I believe there is a serious bug in the Variable Table of Figma.Recently, I've been experiencing strange issues where tokens I never created are suddenly showing up all over my design system. For example, tokens like background-2, background-3, background-4, and background-5 appear out of nowhere. Additionally, when I rename a token — such as changing text-error to just error — it sometimes reverts back to text-error on its own, or even turns into something like error-2. These are not actions I performed. It honestly feels like a ghost is tampering with my work.This is extremely concerning. I'm working on a large-scale design system, and issues like this are not just annoying — they're critical. They undermine trust in the system and the consistency we depend on.Since last week, I’ve noticed this happening repeatedly during token work. Hi,I’m having an issue with the variables. I created a design system with all the relevant variables and then published. I made sure all variables are with the correct scope details and all are NOT hidden from publishing. After enabling that library in a new design file, i tried to use a color variable on a new shape and it simply doesn’t load the colors in the small thumbnail squares. They just stay forever with the default color variable icon. I tested this with new files and new libraries and variables but the issue keeps happening. It seems like it is stuck in a forever loading stage. Other colleagues of mine can use the library and see the variables in their square thumbnails, so im guessing its my issue. After this i made sure my figma was updated and even uninstalled it and installed again. I’ve also tested this with both app and web browser.Interestingly, when i do select a color from the variables on the right panel, the color appears!Has someone had this issue? I’m really run

Hi Figma Team,Last month I was on the Colab plan, and I paid $5 for it (June invoice). But now my account was automatically switched to a different plan — I see an overdue charge of $35, even though I didn’t change anything myself.Why did this happen? Hello! I accidentally pressed some key combination and this panel appeared at the top of Figma - it is not editable, I can't do anything with it. I tried to close the program and log in again - it opens in the same form. Tell me how to return the previous appearance?

Here is our published file  It supposed to be a free. But Figma added some link to purchase. We are not trying to sell it. How to make published file free?Why Figma redirecting to third party service? So i was giving a project to create an app that views figma files, i did so, placed the app in figma developers portal where i got an id and secret code, i did everything and tried integrating figma api into my backend, ran everything, i got linked to figma successfully, got the token, but when i try to access my projects or files i get an error 403, invalid token, but it was successfully linked too

Hello,I was previously using the Free plan on Figma. To try the most affordable paid option, I purchased a plan that was around $5. Afterwards, I switched back to the Starter plan to avoid recurring charges.However, on July 15, 2025 at 01:05 AM, a $33 charge was made to my account. When I asked the chatbot about this, I was instructed to check my subscription details via the admin button in the file browser's left sidebar. But since I’m on the Starter plan, I do not see any admin button and therefore cannot access that information.The chatbot also confirmed that I’m currently on the Starter plan.Since the charge was made, I haven’t canceled any subscription — mostly because, as a Starter plan user, I don’t have access to any cancelable paid plan. I would like to understand the reason behind this $33 charge.If the charge had only been around $5, I might have assumed it was a small account-related issue. I’ve been having issues with images failing to upload and show a loading/buffering state for images.Happens when there are more than 1 image columns/cell and more than 1 row of content. No clean runs where all images from all rows and columns/cells get uploaded smoothly. Text columns/cells work fine on all rows.It’s hard to say what the trigger zone for this bug is--I’ve tested it with dozens of variations of sample XLXS files trying to replicate it and search for a sweet spot that doesn’t break the bulk uploads--always breaks with multiple rows and columns containing images. Pictured below: The upload preview and what it outputs when using the attached file. Screen recording of a test run.   

As an admin of my org, there should be a way to transfer ownership of projects and workspaces from associates that have left my company to someone else.

When draggint the arrow from one or the other, the interaction will not stick. I want fram 22 to be an overlay. I have tried making them both frames, and I don’t know how to fix it. Thank you!

I’ve made a flow diagram of a simple user task, i’ve adjusted the connectors to better fit the layout and available space. I then wrapped it in a section component and pressed the hotkey to resize the section to fit the flow diagram.However, when I do this, it always changes the positions of the connectors which i then need to adjust again. This usually happens when I move the connectors from their default.Attached a before and after:For a simple diagram this is annoying but not a big deal. but for a large, very intricate diagram … this is a nightmare

I am facing problems when I display the project. There are glitches in the display. Do you have a solution?  

Hi, I duplicated 2 files, a library and a design file. The new design file is obviously still attached to the previous library. I want to attach it to the new library. Everything is still exactly the same. I open the library panel in the new design file, add the new library to the file and detach the old one, then I click on “swap library” in order to replace components and styles in the file, but I get this error ID: ba6fb6fe90044b46a5917a85bf89e636. Did this happen to anyone else? If yes anyone found a solution? How am I supposed to swap my libraries if this doesn’t work, I tried more than 20 times over the week end. 

I have prototypes with pop out modals, when I present these appear fine unless I go into “Full Screen Mode”. In which case the pop out modals disappear and the prototype skips any pop out modals when clicking through.

I have tried multiple cards. The error persists. Can anyone help me with this?

I don’t know if I used some keyboard shortcut, but now all my files doesn’t show fills or strokes.When I try to create a new form it just creates a blank form, but the fill and the stroke appears at the right menu. 

About an hour ago, the auto layout control fields and the border radius field are not responding when trying to click into them and adjust values.

I’m using the layout guide to create columns, but they are failing to show up? I’m currently using the Figma Desktop App version 125.5.6 on macOS Sequoia 15.5.  

Hi Figma team,I’ve encountered an unexpected behavior when using Auto Layout with negative gaps. When a zero-width or height element is included in the frame, the negative gap is ignored, and spacing defaults to 0.Steps to Reproduce: Create an Auto Layout frame with a horizontal or vertical direction. Add multiple regular elements (e.g., rectangles) — negative gaps work as expected. Add a zero-width or zero height element into the same Auto Layout group. Suddenly, the negative gap no longer works — the spacing defaults to 0, breaking the layout.  Would appreciate if this could be looked into.Thanks! Changing the gap reveals that only the Auto layout frames without the zero size element are able to have a negative gap value 

I was asked to open a file in recovery mode because it ran out of memory, i tried doing that but it still wasn't opening. so i checked online and i was asked to clear the figma app cache. I cleared the cache, and after doing that, the file opened, but now all the screens on that file are missing. i cant find them anywhere. pls advise on how to recover these files.
