I’ve been trying to verify my account for the Figma Education Plan, but I’ve been facing repeated issues. On my first attempt, the system showed an error and didn’t let me complete the verification. When I tried again, it showed “Verification Limit Exceeded.” I reached out to both SheerID support and the Figma Education team for help, but I haven’t received any response from either side. Now my deadline is down to only 5 days, and I’m stuck without a way to re-verify or reset my attempts. Because of this technical error and lack of support, I’m at risk of losing access to the Education Plan. I’m really not sure what else to do—any guidance or help would be greatly appreciated.

Same here, I’m stuck on the same phase and SheerID did not help me yet !

I can confirm that Figma is working with SheerID to reset your verification attempts.

The full verification process is handled by SheerID so they will be able to reset your verification attempts.
If you have already reached out to them via this contact form and haven’t heard back within 6 business days, we recommend reaching out to education@figma.com for further investigation.

(Please note that Figma does not manually review individual user eligibility or documents.)

Thank you for your response and clarification. However, I’d like to share that I have already reached out to SheerID via their contact form and also emailed education@figma.com, but I haven’t received any reply from either side. It has now been 5 days, and my verification deadline is approaching quickly.

I’m concerned that I may lose access to the Education Plan due to this ongoing issue, even though I am eligible and have submitted all correct details. Could you please escalate this matter or provide an alternative way for me to complete verification?

Good to know: Figma has extended now a grace period for users who are in the process of reverifying their education status, so you won’t lose access to your account or files on September 29.
