Since a recent update, it’s very cumbersome to edit component variant name since the keyboard arrows and shortcuts do not behave as expected.When creating a new variant and clicking the variant field to update the name, the text gets selected, which is good. Previously, hitting the left-right arrows would move the cursor within this field to adjust the variant name and it would be possible to use keyboard shortcuts to move to the end/beginning or jump/select words.Now, clicking the left-right arrows do not move the cursor within the field, but instead move the focus to the dropdown button next to the field, like the tab key would normally do. This is even more of a problem when the name is long, either needing to retype the name even if I wanted to simply adjust it (eg adding suffix/prefix) or needing to select the whole component, then open the variant panel to edit the specific long name.The arrow keys and keyboard shortcuts do work as expected in the ‘Edit variant property’ panel. 

Hi i face an issue with the input field behavior of the variants and it is really annoying.The expect behavior to me is:Tap in the fieldMove with the arrow Key to the right to avoid clearing the whole input when typingThe input indicator moves to the end of the textTypeNew behavior:Tap in the fieldWhen i move with the arrow key to the right it behaves like TAB and moves to the dropdown, but i don’t want to the focus on the dropdown.I need to delete the input and just type, but thats super annoying because i just want to enter a suffix to a variant. When i tap on the input fieldWhen i use the ARROW Key to move to the end of the input - NO figma focuses on the dropdown 

I am testing out how to use Figma Sites file and text weights do not seem to be showing up. I did notice there was a font conflict at first, but when I selected a new font, it did not fix the issue. I do not think the fonts are converting over, it seems like the error never goes away, even after selecting specifically a google font. Is it potentially because these styles are utilizing a version of the font through variables and might not be a google font version of the font?

Hello, I recently created Variable Typography Styles. I am running into an issue when copying a text frame that has a style applied to it (ex. Body) and when I paste it the style becomes unattached leaving only the variables in the Typography properties.Why is it the text frame not retaining its style when copy and pasted? Is there any way to fix this? Thank you. 

I am currently working on my final year project and I am using Figma ai for website, I recently converted to education account because of my needs but now i am not able to edit/ download the code for the website, please help as my final year project depends on it and if not possible, kindly convert me back to normal user as loosing those files means I will fail my whole team. please help anyone.

Custom stroke setting of instances are reset whenever I duplicate instances or any touch in its component.Its very annoying me, it make me do huge hassle jobs. Please fix this bug as soon as possible.

I have to click on Resize window to 100% thousands of times a day because each time I open the Shift + Space prototype Window it somehow do not remember my setting. Am I missing something? 

Hi! I am the owner of our team. As I am leaving the company, I’d like to transfer the ownership. I tried following the instructions at https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039481134-Transfer-ownership-of-a-team but those clearly do not match what I see when I go to “people” under our team. I see in the people list that I am the owner and I am logged in on that account. But there’s no option to transfer ownership when I click on any other user.

Recently I got a problem with my Figma projects (web and app likewise) - all the PNG files in any project does not load, as well as their thumbnails (the thumbnails got partially fixed at some point, but now are not loading again).My attempts to fix the issue:Pressed Help - Troubleshoot - Reset Figma and Restart couple of times. Cleared my both C and D drives (not completely), removed the unnecessary .fig, .psd, .png files, some apps, even the After Effects and Media Encoder, since the initial thought was the problem was caused by some sort of incompatibility.  Cleared the browser cache (both the Chrome-based one I use and the Chrome itself). Updated the AMD drivers to the latest version. Updated Figma app to the latest version. Re-installed Figma app like 5 times, and I hope it was a proper reinstall, since everytime I opened FigmaSetup, it just went straight to the app, without even a chance of choosing different drive to install (I don’t remember how did the app behave the very firs

First of, I am very impressed with Figma Make. It is doing exactly what I want it to. All was good. But….I am a little baffled now because I made the prompt “The design is fine now. Change the framework from REACT to MudBlazor” last week and it did. But this week the exact same prompt says it is not supported and never was. But it was and it worked. Why is this feature gone now - have I made a mistake or was it silently removed?

I received an email last week saying I needed to renew my Educators plan and that some information was required, I sent everything and was automatically approved. The problem is I still have my files on view only mode and cant edit anything (even if it allows me to ask for editing permissions to the owner -which is myself and can’t give permissions to myself.-)Help please!

Trying to use the 'distribute horizontal (and vertical) spacing' option for points on a line so the points will be equally spaced out on a line but it doesn't work anymore. Does anyone know why?

To copy a fill layer, I need to:Select an object Click on the fill layer - it will be highlighted in gray Click again on the object - the highlighted fill layer will now be highlighted in blue, and now it is really selected and can be copied/cut, etc.It used to work fine before (old UI), but now it behaves like this. I thought the copying function was broken. Is this the intended behavior? Linux Mint 21.3, Firefox 142

Hi,When creating a webpage, adding images with Aspect Ratio Lock enabled, applying them to ‘fill’ the container they are in, then previewing the prototype in Responsive View (Z) cuts off the bottom half of the prototype. Steps to reproduce:Create a new webpage design in Figma. Example: 1920 wide Add images with Aspect Ratio Lock enabled. Set the images to Fill the container they are placed in. Preview the prototype and swap to Responsive View (Z shortcut)  Expected Result:The full prototype should display correctly in responsive view. Actual Result:The bottom half of the prototype is cut off in responsive view. Notes:I am on a Mac Studio Display (2560px wide) + the main frame is 1920px wide. This issue appears to happen consistently when the frame is smaller than the resolution it’s being scaled to in Responsive View. (1920px frame scaling up to 2560px) Moving the browser width inwards allows more of the full website to show. I use responsive images daily, and my current work around is

I have been working on a Make app for a few hours and finally went to publish it (in-app preview looking great). The published version is like 7 iterations of UI ago. I can not refresh it, unpublish/republish, etc.. to get it to the new components to render. I was charged $192, but I have no idea what this expense entails from Figma. I pay Figma $15 a month for my subscription, but I have not signed up for any other subscriptions or memberships. What would $192 cover with regard to Figma? Do you know why I would be charged this amount? 

Hi, since a few days I cannot edit any Sites sections that contain Make components.Any change results in endless vertical growth of the section it’s contained in (see screenshot attached). This is the case even if it’s just a manual text change within the Make code component.I was hoping that it was a one time thing, but it keeps happening to any part of the page across several files that contain a Make component. I can consistently reproduce it.Eventually, it leads to the site crashing and my only option to resolve the issue is to reset a previous page before changes in version history, not allowing me to make any changes to Make code embeds.I haven’t received any error message for this yet. I’ve observed that a notification appears that prompts me to reconnect layers (see image below), but that doesn’t fix the issue. In fact, the section just keeps growing or it resets and starts growing from the original size. I’ve followed the troubleshooting checklist as well and no changes to the

Today i saw that i wasnt able to access to my files, because i wasnt on the team anymore, so i asked to be on the team again, they re-invite me again, but i didnt found my projects, nothing in trash and nothing in drafts and nothing on projects... Does anybody know how to delete a property in figma web on ipad? When using my Macbook, I can simply use the command+c shortcut to delete anything but since my ipad does not have it, what should I do? This applies to copy and paste, duplicate, etc.

Hey. When using Arabic, fonts that lack Arabic support fall back to Noto Sans. Today I ran into an issue where the fallback does not render the Semibold weight for Arabic. If I select Noto Sans Arabic directly, everything renders correctly. 

I am unable to publish my Figma plugin even though it works well in Figma Design with updated manifest.json and package.json. 

Hello, recently I’ve been dealing with this issue. Arabic font doesn’t display in semibold weight (only), I tried using other fonts but the problem still remains. I’ve tried “Regenerate all instances” actions, it did’nt work. Can it be new update issue? Can’t get my head around this, please help.
