Hello Everyone!

I’m using Figma Sites for my design portfolio and added horizontal scrolling to a frame. It works, but when I preview the site, a horizontal scrollbar shows up, and I want to hide it for a cleaner look.

Here’s what I tried:

  • Set the frame to horizontal scroll under overflow behavior

  • Tried to look for an “On Drag” interaction to make it feel swipeable — but it’s not available

  • Thought of using arrows + variants, but that’s a lot of work and not ideal

Is there any way to hide the scrollbar in Figma Sites? Or any better workaround?

Thanks!

I have the same problem.

Same here.

I changed the horizontal scrolling with a bottom option. I created a component with its variants and added interactions between them. So, when someone clics the bottom, it changes to the next variant. It works well and I believe it’s better. Hope this helps you.

Don’t doubt to reach out if you need help.

I’m running into the same issue! I was able to remove the scrollbar by pressing the ‘interactive’ tab and then: ‘Make interactive with code’, then ask it to hide the scrollbar but keep the functionality. It works, but unfortunately the blocks became “code designed”? So unless I remove the code first I am not able to readjust the design of the blocks in anyway anymore.

If you are fully finished with your design and you only need to remove the bar it’s a good workaround, otherwise let’s hope for a better solution soon :)

Same problem here :-(
