My school doesn't have a school email i could use. Technically I have one but it's not accessible for students and is only used to sign in to school computers. I already had an education account on my normal google account and i went to re-verify it but now it won'tet me do so without a school email. When applying any default/built-in shader via Fill → Shader OR Effects → Shader on the Figma desktop app, nothing renders on canvas and no shader panel appears for me. I keep getting errors when I try to open a file. It starts to load then it craps out and returns to the main screen. I can’t do anything.
Problem: There is currently no Plugin API to enumerate all connected/enabled libraries of a file, nor to list the styles (paint, text, effect) published by a connected library. The only library discovery surface is teamLibrary.getAvailableLibraryVariableCollectionsAsync(), which returns variable collections but nothing about styles.Current workarounds and why they fail: Scanning the document for remote style IDs — You can walk every node across all pages, collect fillStyleId, strokeStyleId, textStyleId, effectStyleId, check style.remote, and group by the file key embedded in the style ID (S:<fileKey>,…). This is extremely slow on large files (thousands of nodes across many pages), incomplete (only finds styles actually in use, not the full library), and fragile (relies on internal ID format for grouping). getAvailableLibraryVariableCollectionsAsync() — Returns LibraryVariableCollection[] with libraryName, which lets you discover library names and their variable collections. I’m experiencing an issue where some layers or component instances randomly change position after copying and pasting an entire screen/frame from one page to another within the same Figma file.For example, I have a mobile screen on the [design] mobile page that contains a Home Indicator component from Apple’s UI Kit. The indicator is correctly positioned at the bottom of the screen. After copying the entire screen and pasting it into the [dev] mobile page, the Home Indicator unexpectedly jumps to a completely different position near the top of the screen.This happens more frequently with locked layers or component instances, but I have also seen the same issue occur with layers that are not locked.The parent frame keeps the same size and overall structure, but some nested elements are repositioned during the copy/paste operation.Steps to reproduce:Create or use a frame containing nested components or locked layers. Copy the entire frame. Switch to another page in the same Figma file. P
I love the new addition of Figma Motion and it solves my exact problem of being able to author animated SVGs without having to do it “by hand”. ProblemWhen the animation is exported, some of the elements (or groups) include additional transform attribute with a translation value equal to that of the Position (x and y) attribute in Figma. However, this displaces the entire element by that value (breaking the layout of the SVG in process) and is redundant, as the animation keyframes already handle the position and its offsets. This does not happen to all of the elements, and for some, the transform attribute does not impact the final layout. ExampleIn my specific use case, there are two rectangles with rounded corners which move on top of a device frame mockup. The rectangles are part of a mask group (alpha), which adds a shared gradient as their fill. Everyone else in my university group applied the exact same way and got approved. For some reason, the automated SheerID system failed in my case.The Support Loop: I contacted Figma Support (Ticket #1784710). They told me they cannot do manual reviews and sent me to SheerID support. I contacted SheerID support. They replied with an automated message saying: "we are unable to verify your status at this time [...] we are not able to offer further details or manual assistance for this specific request." They called it a "final determination" and closed the case without even asking for my documents (like my Student ID or schedule). I have two suggestions regarding the recent update: The new Agent icon is always visible next to many UI elements, even when I'm not using the Agent feature. It adds unnecessary visual noise and makes the interface feel more cluttered. It would be great if there were an option to hide these icons or only show them when the Agent is actively being used. It would also be helpful if the Figma desktop app showed a "What's New" screen after each update, similar to Telegram. A short overview of new features, improvements, and changes would make it much easier for users to discover what's new without having to look through release notes.

I have a problem: the annual plan renewal for my organization somehow includes taxes now; however, before there weren't any taxes included. I noticed that for some reason, in the "bill to" column, the address was changed - the country, to be exact. In all the previous invoices, the country was Kazakhstan; now it's Russia for some reason.So, to be clear, in the account settings, the billing address is and was correct, but in the invoice it changed, and I guess it started to include taxes based on the incorrectly changed country. How is that even possible, and can it be fixed?The invoice isn't paid yet because of that.I raised a ticket a week ago, and it’s still open without any answer. When I remove backgrounds from images and then change the image, the AI always adds a background back into it. This is quite annoying. Can this be removed?Nike logo as example. Prompts show above the image, with results below them. Gray bars are there to show the transparency.Imported a Nike logo on pink background Copied it, and asked the AI to remove the background. Did it perfectly! Copied the transparent image and asked AI to change Nike to Spike. The AI added a background to the image. Why?!I’m sure a workaround could be to ask the AI to first change it to spike and do the transparency at the end, but its just not logic to see things come back / being reintroduced.
