We're currently experiencing an issue with Google authentication in our Figma Make + Supabase setup. When a user attempts to sign up using their Google account, the user is successfully created in Supabase, but the OAuth callback URL doesn't work as expected. As a result, the user isn't redirected to the authenticated part of the application. This breaks the login flow, effectively preventing access to the app despite the user being created in the Supabase auth table.

I have same issue, the currentURL keep changing and its not fixed that is why Google OAuth cannot verify origin or call back
Hi all - thank you for reporting! I filed a bug ticket on this to have it reviewed yesterday, and I’m hoping it will get reviewed soon (I can’t guarantee the exact timeline), and I’ll update when I can.

Update for everyone: I’ve gotten confirmation from engineers that they are aware of this (issues with Google auth in some Figma Make + Supabase setups).
At this time, the ticket I opened is remaining open, and is on the radar to be worked on. However, there is no existing timeline I can provide or guarantee at this moment. I know this may be disappointing.
The amount of those who join in the conversation helps drive faster review. With that said, i’ll leave this topic for anyone else that is running into the same roadblocks so they can add feedback. We welcome anyone new to drop a reply here (or for the rest of you to add more feedback to emphasize your pain points).

Yeah, so I was trying to add Google OAuth to a Figma Make web app I was creating, but it's not working either. Although my knowledge is limited, what I did was that I followed a set of instructions to create a client ID on Google Console and entered the ID and secret on the Figma make. But each time I try to get the AI to include a Google login and calendar auto-sync for the app user, the web app breaks and some stuff stops working. Also, I am a bit new in the web app and app development domain and really need to find resources that explain everything from using Figma Make to create to hosting options to maintaining a database and launching the app on playstores and stores. I am very open to a Zoom or Google Meet 30-minute or 1-hour tutorial. Also, I want to know if I could use Figma to host the web app since it gives access to a database, or should I utilise another hosting platform, and how do I set it up and include the database or create a new database for the app? I also need to learn how to get my app on the Google Play Store and the iOS Store. I did really appreciate any cherub that would help, support and guide me to get all the knowledge I need to be independent on this. Thanks so much as I hope and look forward to being saved.
