Hey Figma, I just lost access to an important file of which I was the sole owner :( this is extremely nerve wracking, please restore the file ASAP!

In prototype mode, when a top layer has no defined interaction (e.g., no "on click" action), clicks on it are being ignored, allowing interactions from elements behind it to be triggered. I used to use non-breaking spaces in my variants and properties naming to build a multi level structure:🔹 property  ↳ subpropertySo I can put multiple spaces and arrow is nicely aligned with the middle of the diamond. After last updates, all spaces, no matter if regular or non-breaking on the beginnning of the name are auto deleted. Could you fix that?Update - I just realized it’s still working, but on properties only.

The file now returns a “Hmm, we couldnt find that one” error when I try to open it. I was the sole editor and only shared the file for viewing access with others. Over the last few months Figma has started to run very slow. Even when performing simple tasks like deleting pages or publishing components, the difference in performance is extremely noticeable. I either see the loading spinner for way longer than I should or the icon in the top bar that indicates Figma is struggling to save changes. This is having an big impact on my (and my colleagues) productivity. Please can you investigate and report back? 

Hello! There seems to be quite annoying bug with background blur effect. I’m using auto layout for entire page composition (each landing page section). First element in “content” container (let’s call it A) is a sub-navigation bar that has sticky position and background blur effect. When I run a prototype, the effect works as expected only above first container after the sticky bar (let’s call it B), but scrolling further, above another one (let’s call it C), sticky bar’s background becomes solid / opaque. Also — which I’ve found out by coincidence — if you make those consecutive containers scrollable horizontally (C, or D, etc) and put some element inside them that actually allows for horizontal scrolling (even for 1px) than background blur on the sticky bar (A) works correctly… But that doesn’t always work… HELP! Hi everyone,I’m creating my typography system in Figma and have run into a problem.Setup I created three primitive Font family variables: Family/Title Family/Heading Family/Body Every text style is linked to that alias so we can swap fonts easily later. Problem All Title styles and Body styles work perfectly. For the Heading styles it only works in the first text-style set. In the other three variants: the variable chip is struck through; after Detach variable the font family immediately falls back to the first variant’s font. The icon in the comment box is not visible in the Figma desktop app.  

Hi everyone,I’ve been testing the new Figma Website feature and I’m running into a problem: horizontal scrolling doesn’t seem to work.Details: Scrolling only works with the mouse wheel — I can’t click and drag to scroll like I can in classic prototypes. I’m trying to create horizontally scrollable elements (like filter chips or even a full webiste with horizontal scroll), but it’s not usable in this case. Everything works fine in regular prototypes. Is this a bug, a current limitation of Figma Website, or maybe something wrong on my side (outdated version)?Thanks in advance for any help or insight!

Double clicking should bring back the arrow cursor.

Is it true that after moving a file to another team and project the libraries are no longer linked? Or is this a bug. We have the idea that this did not happen before.

As you can see I’ve pasted an absolute frame with fill color a gradient, in order to create a faded effect for a marquee. Although this renders well on the canvas and preview, once published this is what it shows:   This automatically resets to the correct position if I resize my browser window.Thanks for your help!

When holding the “Z” key down on the Mac app and dragging to select my zoom window, the Zoom tool intermittently drags the layer(s underneath. It does not Zoom into it.

Hey all, I’m having a particularly annoying issue when dealing with overrides on instances. I have a few basic components that make up the entirety of a navigation component. All of the names are the same between each component, object, nested components, etc. so overrides should be retained. Nav Item Nav List Group

I’m trying to update some files. Apparently the old tags aren’t getting recognized? Two weeks ago it worked. Did Figma break some things regarding the big updates? Aren't you writing test? ;P Or am I doing something wrong here?  

HiHi,The new layer preview thumbnails are not helpful. They waste space and make it harder to identify layer types at a glance. Please keep the clear indicators (frame, auto layout, shape, image) — those are useful. Right now, it’s harder to navigate, and it slows down my workflow. Feels like an A/B test — but this version really hurts usability. Thanks.

Hello, I’ve got a component set that I want to assign a boolean to, for the visibility of the word “Owner.” I successfully assigned it for every variant except the one called “Open.”The options to hide the layer and to apply variable/property are grayed out, only for this text layer. It also prevented me from assigning the boolean for the entire component set. I can still change the visibility of the layer from the left panel.  I found a workaround by pasting “Owner” from a different variant, but can anyone explain why this is happening?  Here is the figma link: https://www.figma.com/design/cMcWnX5NQECJ5vcNzWoKRk/test?node-id=1-101&t=0VnqJ
