I have 32 gb 3200 MHZ ram with rtx 3050 8gb Gpu. and MD Ryzen 5 8600G  CPU. Dont know while creating component figma desktop app and browser both are getting crashed. And it really effecting on my project deadline. Can anyone know the solution ? its not like that i’m creating heavy component , for example i have created a component for desktop version when i’m trying to do it for tablet and mobile version it suddenly got crashed. And i’m facing this problem for past 2-3 weeks. 

I’m having what seems like a two-tiered issue, one one hand nested components are sometimes reverting to their default properties when a new instance is created. However this does not become apparent unless I change the variable mode that I am using. For example I have 4 modes that cover 2 different branding in a light and a dark mode. The strange issue here is that this seems to only affect nested components. And on top of that Figma is lying about the impact of variables on nested components properties - as it is displaying that they are not connected, but they seem to be connected and working as intended in some instances. Here is the master component, its variable mode has been set to “A - light” this is important for some reason as this will dictate if the text property and icon instance are carried over. (I’ll attach some more images and context here as replies)

file access was lost and after checking in Figma, we realized an ex-employee deleted the files. How we can restore file. I don’t see any single file in Thrash. Please assist. I have Figma admin access.

Hi! After the last update Figma Make is completely unusable. It censors almost every request even with little droplet of frustration from user’s side. For example “what is it?????” or “Did you read what I asked you to do?” is unacceptableThat is extremely annoying because the model is good in fixing errors by the feedback from user, even if it is extreme frustration.  Moreover, I don’t understand initial reason for the censorship in the first place. Are we already protecting model’s feelings? What for?

Hi there, y’all!I’m currently making this component that should be able to be sized responsively. However, when I drag it to widen the component, the right icon is staying in the same place. I’d like to keep the assets on the left (^Component) anchored to that side but anchor the plus sign on the right hand side to the right side so that it responsively widens. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this? Thank you so much and apologies for poorly explaining that- would be happy to elaborate! 

Hello. We’re having issues with text glitches. Some random characters are showing small glitches. Random because it’s an unpredictable inconsistency depending on who knows what - size, settings etc? Sometimes making a small adjustment like character space or vertical trim resolves the glitch, sometimes not. There appears to be no consistency with the issue and no catch-all solution, so it makes for a very impractical situation when using the font at scale. The font in question is Adobe Clean - it is activated via Universal Type Client at our company. They’ve tried removing and reloading, in fact we’ve been through all the suggested solutions inc “Recompute Text Layout in Selection” and “Regenerate All Instances (Slow)”, and toggling all settings in Type Settings > Detail. Some things work in some situations but it’s too random to be practical. The issue also remains when exporting content with the problematic text. Two examples attached. Any help or advice welcome.

can't even edit and change the text, what’s wrong? it only can change the font style, can’t even change the writing on the template better off using canva

Regardless of “Exclude all pages from search engine results” being checked or not the site is always set to noindex. I’ve tried multiple ways to change with publish, unpublish setting the field on/off then updating etc yet it’s still set to noindex. Pretty significant issue tbh!

I'm currently facing an issue where the verification code is not being delivered to my email ID. This is preventing me from logging into my Figma account.

When designing a barchart in Figma, I run into this problem:I created the bar as a component with hover over state The hover over state contains a visual showing the exact metrics I designed the bar in Auto layout to create entries for each day (x-axis represents days of the month) The bars are created in Auto Layout and do not overflow, using Clip Content does not workWhat I like to do is show the whole hover over element without it being cut off by the next ‘Auto layout’ bar, see screenshot below, and video for reference.  Here is a video of how the prototype works and how I setup the file:   Hope someone can help me out here :) Thanks!

Is Figma make instructed to give output in react and tailwind only?  How can we use other technologies to get prototype of our Figma designs using Figma Make?When I tried to use angular, it didn't even show the preview and asked me to convert into react app to see the preview.

It seems like on-device fonts may be broken. I am having this issue in two separate files on two separate accounts with two separate fonts.On one account, it’s Gotham. The font styles show correctly in the dropdown, but choosing Gotham Regular renders as Gotham Bold. Bold renders as Regular. Light renders as Black. Everything is wrong.Likewise, on a separate account, Univers is being problematic. For one, the font menu isn’t showing all the variants of Univers I have installed,  but more importantly, all extended versions have their italics and non-italics swapped, and I only have one of each present in the font dropdown. If I want to use Univers Bold Extended, it will render as Univers Bold Extended Oblique, without the oblique version even being selectable.Is there any workaround for this other than putting the wrong font on and confusing my developers? is there a fix in the works?

So when you scale a vector when pressing K from like 1x to 2x for example then you click away. The scale reverts back to 1x.Wanted to know if anyone knew a way of preserving this scale? in after effects for example you bring someting in that’s say 25px x 25px with a sacle of 100%. If you change this to 200% and click away. It will remain 200%.

hi, I have simple website with overlay that apears after clicking “Menu”. When in prototype mode, I can not scroll the page verticaly. When I am using page and overlay separete, they both work fine - I can scroll the website. What can be the reason I can not do simple scroll?
