I got quite far into developing a project in Figma Make before I found out that you cannot go from Figma Make to Figma Design. (Brutal. When I opened Figma Make I didn’t even realize it was a coding tool. Naturally, I assumed it was for prototyping.) I tried a workaround based on exporting the Make project and using an HTML-to-Figma plugin, but the Make project doesn’t appear to have HTML files built in.Has anyone discovered any good workarounds for this?

None of my other 2 team members can access it, nor is it in their trash or drafts. Since this file is locked and owned by me, it should not have disappeared. Could a Figma staff member please help escalate or check backend recovery? I really need to access it today. Thank you!

Hi Figma Community,I lost access to one of my files and I need help recovering it. I am the owner of the file. The file was locked before this issue happened. Now, when I open the link, I get a 404 Not Found error. The file does not appear in my Drafts, Deleted files, or Recent files. I did not delete the file. I’ve tried different browsers, devices, and cleared cache, but no luck. Hello,This is the third time I’ve had to reach out in two weeks regarding major ongoing issues I am experiencing with Figma’s education verification for me and my class. I am teaching a UX/UI design course at a college wherein we are utilizing Figma for design and collaboration, however we have had a number of issues regarding verification.Most recently and pressingly, despite my verified status for a Pro Education plan, I am unable to set our class group to a Professional tier without paying (prior to the re-verification mandated in an email sent on September 6 the group worked just fine at a free for education professional tier). There is no option in the Group’s admin settings to upgrade the group without having to pay for each seat.I’m posting about this here in the forum because when I tried to send a message to Figma support, my ticket (#1504933) was automatically closed and I was replied to by a bot which said that I was contacting support from a Starter account and that support

Summary:When switching between variable modes in Figma (e.g., Balanced Endorsement, Light Endorsement, Full Endorsement), colours applied to components (e.g., buttons) do not update correctly. “Anyone with the link” can view prototypes but users still have to log into Figma. Do users have to still log in? Is there a way to just share without having to log in?

Hello,I am reaching out because I’ve been experiencing a recurring issue in Figma when exporting images. For quite some time now, exported files (PNG, sometimes JPG) often display a thin white border around the visuals, even though: my frames are properly aligned to the pixel grid, dimensions are set to whole numbers (no decimals), and no extra background is applied. This issue does not appear to be related to the viewer display (I tested across different software), but to the export process itself.Today, I lost over 4 hours of work trying to resolve this problem (recreating frames, exporting at 2x/3x, checking the pixel grid, etc.), without finding a reliable fix. This is extremely disruptive to my workflow and directly impacts the quality and timing of my deliverables.Could you please let me know if this issue is known to your team, and whether a definitive solution or update is planned?Thank you in advance for your help,Best regards,

I’m facing an issue where I’ll have variables randomly reorder themselves, and it’s happened multiple times in the past few weeks. Making fixing this incredibly time consuming and causing countless issues within our development pipeline.Some of the culprits I have noticed:Completely removing a group Nesting a group in another group Nesting a group in a group with the same name (e.g. group 1 → group 1 → variable) Removing a group and putting variables in random groupsThese usually happen when I am trying to reorder or adding/making changes to other variables. Sometimes I don’t even notice until I am coming to publish, and suddenly I have 100’s of components to update. This is essentially making the Figma Variable Panel completely unusable for me. Has this been reported before? I surely can’t be the only one facing these types of breaking bugs. 

I have a button as shown below, it contains an icon on the left hand side configured as a nested component. The size of the icon in the button component below is 20x20px. The size of the icon itself (as an individual component) is 24x24px. My icons are made up of a bunch of strokes, and all icons as their individual component have their stroke width at 1.5px, in the button component it is 1.25px (as scaling from 24x24px to 20x20px scales 1.5 to 1.25). When I change the nested component instance to another icon, the new icon should remain at 1.25px, however the new icon is at 1.5px. I’ve tried changing all of my icon’s constraints to scale but that didn’t seem to do anything. TLDR: I want my nested components to resize but also scale accordingly as I change the nested component instance. Right now it’s only resizing them. Been stuck on this for quite some time, and I’m not sure if this is a bug or if I’m doing anything wrong. Would love some help.

Hi all! I’m having a hard time creating a responsive navigation bar to my Figma Sites. My navbar is currently set it fixed so it moves with scrolling.  I Have a parent frame that is auto-layout and inside it other frame containing navlinks.  I would like the navbar’s weight to be filled to page, but whenever I go to dropdown menu, it only gives me options for fixed weight and hug.  If I try to adjust the weight manually, it goes off-centered in every breakpoint. Can someone help me?

We use Figma Design to create case study assets like social posts, PR visuals, and webpages. What’s great about this is we can share these with the client for review in present mode. This is a key feature that Figma Buzz is missing. We’d be in a position to use Buzz exclusively for our marketing if you could enter present mode.

Hello Figma Community,I'm encountering some strange rendering issues that I can't replicate within the Figma file itself. I've double-checked my settings, but these problems only appear after exporting or rendering the frames.Issue 1: Unexpected White BorderI'm getting a thin, white border around some of my frames and components at the time of render. This border is not visible in the Figma canvas. It appears out of nowhere during the export process and is quite disruptive to the design.Issue 2: Clip Content Not WorkingI've also noticed that clip content is not working as expected. I have elements with a border radius, but during rendering, the content is not being clipped properly, resulting in sharp corners that should be rounded. This again is a rendering issue; the frames look correct in the Figma file.Has anyone experienced similar problems? I'd appreciate any guidance on how to troubleshoot this or if it's a known bug.Thanks for your help!  

When I run figma connect create (using html parser) figma.ts are created just fine, but the variant properties are always missing. The boolean and string properties are created consistently. I’ve tried this on numerous different components. Anyone run into this or have any insight on how to address this? 

Hi everyone,I accidentally revoked the Supabase connection in Organization Settings → Authorized Apps in Supabase. Figma then prompted me to fix the Supabase connection in Settings.In the Supabase integration settings, I saw a “Connection lost” state. I tried clicking Authorize and Delete, but neither worked.Now I’m stuck with a lonely frontend UI and no Supabase connection. Is there a way to completely clear/reset this broken Supabase integration and reconnect from scratch?Thanks! 

Issues with Figma adding pixels to all sides or just some sides when an image is exported. This happens when exported as all file types, with the exception of SVG files. This issue creates a lot of unnecessary editing to the final product, especially when dealing with time sensitive projects.
