Hi everyone, I’m new to Figma and exploring its features for design and collaboration. I’d love to know what resources, tips, or best practices you recommend for beginners to quickly get comfortable with the platform. Also, what plugins or workflows do you find most helpful for improving efficiency when working on projects, especially in team environments? Any advice or experiences would be really valuable for me and other newcomers.

Hey team, I need your assistance with this issue. I created a basic single-page app and imported @rjsf/core. I loaded a simple JSON schema and UI schema with an array and string “phone" numbers. The problem is that the form renders correctly, but unexpectedly, users cannot input any text. Additionally, all fields load with the shadcn style except for the array field.testing in the RJSF playground (https://rjsf-team.github.io/react-jsonschema-form/) is working just fine. this seems very specific to figma make. if any one can help here is my test env if you want to view the behavior  test env   

Error ScreenWhat i’ve tried:Kept retrying after couple of days, after weeks still same “Error” screen appears. Tried different networks, different devices, no VPN. Mailed SheerID support but they just closed the ticket without giving me any information Mailed education@figma.com, no response for 8 days.The issue:The verification link from Figma takes me to an “Error: We are unable to verify you at this time”Now i’m seeing the “verification limit exceeded” screen & its pretty infuriating. Anybody face this issue? How do i fix this? 

Hi,I have configured the Figma MCP setup in my VSCode and tried to get the annotations data for a figma screen. The screen has many annotated components and I did code connect for the components as well. No matter which ever prompt I try, I’m not getting the annotated values. The prompts run get_metadata and get_code of the MCP server but still I get no desired resultsSee the below figma screen  ScreenWhat should be the correct prompt or way I can extract all the annotations for the figma screen url and store it in a file?  

I recently canceled my Pro subscription, but I noticed that a $20 charge is still currently processing on my card. I would like to request that this transaction be canceled immediately before the charge is completed, as I no longer wish to use the Pro plan. Please confirm that the charge will not go through and that my subscription is fully canceled. Thank you for your help

This is just a bug report (if this belongs somewhere else happy to submit this there) The Mobile Product Review Slides template uses Whyte as the title font but that’s unavailable for most users. I’ve been using IBM Plex Serif as a replacement, but anyway, worth changing so users don’t run into this bug in the future.

How do I extend a line without losing  its angle?

Hi,Before figma release import/export variables feature, I often use Design Token manager plugin to work with my variables. Today, I can't import json back to figma because the format is different, instead I use figma native feature, which is so so much problematic. If I have 2 ways alias, it require the alias collection already imported in the app, therefore my variables is broken (not completed)If i have outside figma system variables, I can’t import too. Figma trying to lock user in it’s own system, and feature is half baked release.Anyone try different methods/ plugins so you can import your into figma?

I’ve noticed uncomfortable lags when I share my screen via MS Teams and present something in Figma Desktop. It feels like fps drops drastically - from 60 to around 15-20. Mouse hover feedbacks with a noticeable delay. These lags I started notice after updating to macOS Sequoia. My setup: Macbook Pro 2021 M1 Pro with 32GB RAM, macOS Sequoia 15.0 External monitor HP Z27 connected via usb-c thunderbolt Figma Desktop 124.4.7 MS Teams for mac Version 24244.507.3125.3475 I started investigating to identify the root cause and so far I figured out the next: The issue is only with Figma Desktop and MS Teams mac app. If I use Figma in browser or MS Teams in browser, everything is smooth. The issue is more noticeable with UI3. When I switch back to previous UI, it works much smoother, however not perfect and smooth as without sharing. When I share the internal Macbook screen the issue is less to not not

Figma make file unable to open, it's not showing my designs even after refreshing the preview. I want to edit my designs either ill loss all my earlier designs as well. design gets publish when put the prompt but now showing in figma make file.

Hi, I’m unable to access my Figma Education Plan. I submitted my verification through SheerID, but it’s been delayed and I haven’t received any confirmation yet.I’ve also contacted SheerID support, but they said they’re experiencing high request volumes. Because of this, I can’t activate or use my education plan on Figma.

I have encountered an issue when using number list. While using numbered lists for document design, I can usually continue the list from the number I stopped at in another frame or using another text container, but this does not work for numbers greater than 99 or 100 and above. I can start a number list from 99 but can’t a list from 100 or aboveCan this bug be fixed

I created a new Slides template, but I’m still only seeing the default stock slides in the “New slide” dropdown. I’m not sure how to remove those and add my own custom slide layouts.I’m also unclear on how to create or edit a template style, including setting custom colors and text styles. The deck defaults to the “Light Slides” style, but I don’t see any options to edit or add a new template style.I’m on a company plan and appear to have full access to Figma Slides.Any help appreciated.

I can’t figure out how to take a whole file which contains a clickable prototype, and send it to Figma Make. I can only see how to do 3 frames max. When I paste the file link into Figma make, I then get prompted back to doing singular frames at a time 

Hi, I would like to request a refund for my service package because I forgot to pause it.

I’m working on a site and there’s a warning about an accessibility issue that we can’t solve. Other call outs lead to images without alt text or buttons set up incorrectly, but when we click on this one it highlights the entire Home page.Is this a bug? Or is there a way to add alt text to a complete screen? We didn’t see that option either. 

I was editting a page in Figma make and whej I asked it to “undo” something it undid all the work that I had input and sorted. Please help!
