I’m having an issue in my Figma Design file with colour library for past few days. Inside the colour library dropdown, the colours I have added from my Design System are not showing any thumbnail. I can see all the colour variable created in the Design System but none of the groups are showing colour thumbnails. Once I switch from grid view to list view in the colour library dropdown, I can see the complete list of all the colours and they are working correctly. But I’m still not seeing the colours thumnail associated to the variables. I’m attaching screenshots to give a better context of what the issue is. Any idea what I’m doing wrong or any suggestions to resolve this?Not able to see the colours in colour libraryCan see the colours in list view but colour thumbnail is still not visible  

After completing my verification with SheerID, I got an error message that says “It looks like you’ve already been approved for this offer.” However, when I check my account, I’m still on the Starter plan and don’t have access to the student plan features.

Hi! Why after installing a new version and after subscribing to collab mode the button (right one with rulers) doesnt work in design mode?

I was exploring Figma Make for training our design system foundational color tokens and elements, but when I trying to copy paste FIGMA frames/importing it to the prompt area, it was not working.. I couldn’t see the files/frames attached to the prompt thread. And even it got suddenly disabled the plus button (attach file/ import file) for me.

I recently upgraded to an educational account but it says I have reached my current limit. I have been using the AI to create a UI mockup. Why is my account being limited like if it were a starter account? 

SF Symbols now appear smaller when creating them using the keyboard. I had a library of SF Symbols in one of my files, and after comparing the same symbol with the same font size and all other settings, they appear different - the one from before looks significantly bigger. Also, after checking the size of SF Symbols used in the iOS 18 Official UI Kit from Apple, their size is still as big as it was before. What could be the issue? Thanks! 

We are in the process of changing our domain name, and we are currently using "Login with Google" for authentication. Could you please provide the steps to update this integration with the new domain? I have been unable to reach support through other channels. Appreciate any assistance.

Probably duplicate of  We have figma project where i can only comment and view from my account, if i try to tag anyone (eg. neither “@S” or “@Some User”) I always see only “No people found for s”, even when i copypaste name from colleague comment (his name or person he correctly tagged in his comment) it display no users.I use latest Chrome browser and https://www.figma.com/design/some_cool_hash_project_name. The figma.com/api/contacts/at_mentions request is returning:error: falsei18n: nullmeta: []status: 200 

Sorry if this is a stupid question. I am trying to avoid multiple layers.Why can’t I make a component with a text property and then have variants with different values in that property? What am I missing? Why do I have to create a master component and then wrap that in sub components?

I recently filled the form about Figma EDU Plan, But looks like my high school isn't in the Figma School List. The error shows “ You must apply with your school email to continue.” Im already using my School e-mail to register figma and verify at figma education plan page. Also i already submit many times domain request to "High School Domain Requests for Figma EDU Plan". Still no response.  

The mobile app is not working, so I cannot test my mobile prototypes via the app. Any news on this? Is it just me? This is the message i get

 I am extremely dissatisfied with the current situation and the lack of proper support.  Our entire company’s operations have come to a halt, and this issue is causing serious financial losses. Every second of delay is costing us more.I have an active annual plan that started on June 23, 2025, and runs until the end of June 2026, fully paid upfront. The payment receipt is available.Since last week, my **owner account** has been locked. Hi Figma Community! I'm currently having problems in dev mode.Usually when I change modes or view a variable in the code view in dev mode and click on the variable to see details, the value of the variable that I clicked will appear. Or when I try to change the mode, for example from Desktop to Mobile, the value will also follow the changes.For example the image below:But on the other hand there are variables that if I click and change the mode, the value does not appear or change, like this:I also noticed the first image variable came from the file itself, while the second image variable came from another file. But shouldn't the value still appear?Or does anyone know about this?Thank You,

I’m trying to create a template for an app. I’ve spent a lot of time creating a clickable prototype with a bunch of different pages and I want to import it into Figma make and have all those page connections work in there. I tried doing this a few different ways and none of them work. There is also nothing I cna find on the web about this which is why I’m asking here.

After several attempts to verify my account on SheerID, I received a “We're unable to verify you using the information submitted. Please check your information for accuracy, and only use your own mobile device or computer.” error message.I’ve been emailing to SheerID and figma edu with no reply. Since all current educational users must re-verify their status before September 29, 2025, this has become an urgent issue in my classes. Any help, guidance, or suggestions you can provide would be greatly appreciated. 

I’ve had a very confusing week trying to connect components with my team. I’ve been connecting React components, another engineer has been connecting Compose components. I was getting accurate results from the MCP, the other engineer was always only getting HTML/CSS. When I tried a component he connected, I was getting correct Compose code returned. Everyone was confused. Until today… We realized that I was using an older version of the MCP and `get_code` tool, whereas he was using a newer version and `get_design_context` tool. I just connected to the remote MCP which no longer has `get_code` and only has `get_design_context`, and now I’m getting the same results. We’re wondering if there is a bug in `get_design_context`? Can we get the same functionality as the old `get_code`? Thanks!!!

My Educational plan expires in 2 weeks, but I won't have money to actually buy one until 4 weeks, or even more.What I wanna know is what happens after it expires? Do all my files just sit there the way I left them until I can buy a plan, or is everything deleted or changed somehow?Will I lose any files that are over the file limit for the free plan?I won't be doing any changes to the file, but I just gotta make sure they stay there until I get the money.Thanks
