Okay, listen, here’s the thing:
A little over a month ago, around November 25th, I accessed the Figma free trial, particularly interested in giving the Prototype sharing, since I had a project that judges would evaluate and I wanted the prototype to be available for them if they wanted to explore it first-hand. All perfect, the free trial worked just fine, and the project ended.
Around December 10th, I cancelled my Figma Pro subscription and removed both seats in the team and whatever. Basically, cancelled the free trial and everything because I wasn’t going to use it anymore and I cancelled with enough time to spare so that I wouldn’t get charged on December 25th the Pro subscription. Asides from the fact it’s nearly impossible to access how to cancel said subscription.
However, on the early morning of December 25th, I get a receipt from my bank that I’ve been charged $10.67 by Figma. At first, obviously, I got confused, so I sent an email to Figma Help via the AI Support Chatbot like “hey, I got billed for a premium subscription I don’t have, can you help me out and fix that so I can also get my money back?” and waited for a response.
First of all, it took them three days to answer that first email. Around Christmas time, I understand if it gets a bit slower, so that’s fine. However, this was the response:

“The email address you used to contact us does not have any active paid subscription.” Yes, I’m aware. That’s why it’s a big problem that I got billed when I don’t have a subscription active. I cancelled it precisely for that reason, and it still happened.
I sent back an email explaining that was precisely the problem immediately after I got that response and I haven't heard back yet. It’s been plenty of days and when I try to contact support from the Figma website, all I get is a chatbot telling me to post in this Forum so that someone from Support can look over my case, so here I am.
I’d like to solve this issue ASAP so that I don’t get billed in January too, because the truth is I’m not even currently using Figma (on holidays) so I don’t want this to happen again, because it’s absolutely not fun being charged $10 for a subscription I don’t even have.
(Yes, the charge was to this very same email, not a different account. No, I haven’t heard back yet and no one’s even asked me questions to know more about the case yet, so you know, if there’s anything missing for Support to look over the case, please let me know!)
