Hi,Please, I would like to report an issue with Figma and Figjam. I didn’t found anyone else taking about this specifically.WhatWhen pasting a frame with component instances from Figma to Figjam, some components get reset to the default state. DetailsThe frame contains component instances and nested components inside, with it’s instances changed. For example, an app UI with the entire header or top navigation as a component, and the buttons inside it are nested components with icons. The icons are reset to default.When I modify the instanced icon to anything else, copy, then paste to Figjam, the icon is retained, I can even change back to the previous icon, and it will paste correctly in Figjam. Apparently, I have to force a change in the instance, and it will be retained. The problem is that there are far too many frames and instances for me to “shake it” and make it work. Without knowing the issue, I don’t know exactly if I can prevent it from happening again. This has been forcing u

Hey I noticed few of my friends in my uni got the Figma make access while I did not. Is Figma make and site now available for edu pro accounts for students?

I started having a problem with my Figma. When you select the crop tool ou click multiple times on a photo, the edit menu opens up.The “edit menu” im talking about, is the one that you can change de shadows, tint, temperature and stuff like that. It is where you choose to change the color, gradiant, photo…I dont know why, but this panel isn’t opening for me the right way. Ich bin mit meinem Google Account angemeldet. Dort habe ich die email Adresse bin***@***bis.de für meinen Google Account. Jedoch habe ich vor kurzem Gmail eingerichtet für meinen Google Account. Deshalb lautet die neue Email Adresse bin.fl****gmail.com. Ich melde mich in Figma mit meinem selben Google Account an der dann jedoch eine andere Email Adresse hat. Meine Design Files sind alle noch da, vermutlich weil sie lokal auf meinem Computer hinterlegt sind. Allerdings habe ich keine Berechtigung mehr diese zu bearbeiten (nur lesen). Also gehe ich auf Berechtigungsanforderung. Dort wird mir eine Mail auf bin***@***bis.de geschickt. Ich klicke dort drauf und werde automatisch in Figma mit bin.fl****gmail.com angemeldet, weil es keinen Account mehr mit bin***@***bis.de mehr gibt. Dann kommt der Fehler dass der User keine Berechtigung für Berechtigungsverwaltung hat. Jetzt weiß ich nicht weiter. Viele Grüße (für email support ist mein Account leider zu arm)

I've noticed that adding video to a Figma site (using the new "Fill in Figma" sites feature) isn't supported or is completely broken. It's a mess to try and implement — there's no straightforward way to embed or play videos properly.In contrast, Framer handles video support very well — it's easy and seamless to integrate video backgrounds or media sections. It would be great if Figma could match that level of functionality. Right now, it's a major limitation for building modern, media-rich web experiences directly in Figma.Expected Behavior: Ability to embed videos in Figma Sites Support for background videos and inline media Clean playback and responsive behavior Actual Behavior: No native video support Workarounds are clunky or ineffective Makes building modern web pages difficult Please consider adding full video support in Figma Sites — it's essential for many use cases and currently a big gap compared to Framer.

I’m a programme manager and teacher at Oslo Nye Fagskole in Norway. I was granted an educational licence about a year ago, but recently I’ve started receiving repeated emails warning that my licence is expiring. Each time, I follow the link in the email to confirm my eligibility. When I click it, I get the message: “You’re in! You are now verified with Figma for Education.” However, a few days later, I receive the same expiry warning again. What to do… tried to contact support then get a message I can only get help through this support forum   Thanks in advance for your help!

Emojis are not appearing in the comment box of the Figma desktop app on macOS. They display correctly on Figma Web, but in the Mac app they don’t appear.

Hi,although Figma App has been closed and no Broswers is running (there should be no Figma App running on the desktop) it still consumes a lot of memory (0.25GB !)    

I have worked with figma make and honestly its the best application i have ever used. What its helped me develop is game changing for me as I have dyslexia coding and copy has never been my thing.  Im unsure is the web app i have developed on figma real can the public use it? Security does it have any ? how can i manage users ? How can i see whos using it ? How bigger app can i make ? Is there anyone who can help me it would be super helpful

In my Figma project, I’m using components and color variables. When I clone this project and map it to different colors, everything works fine at first. But when I go back to the main project and add new colors or make adjustments, some of the colors in the cloned project get messed up. How can I fix this issue?

The Supabase Figma OAuth integration appears to have been broken after recent deprecation of `files:read`. Supabase itself is appending `files:read` scope to the OAuth initiation URL which appears not to be a valid scope for the OAuth app I have, despite the email mentioning there’s a grace period until mid-November for the switch-over. This has now broken a lot of important flows in the platform that I’m building, thus it’s not even possible to submit the OAuth app for review to publish it publicly, as well.

My other account has been suspended. I have also reported the problem to the official via email, but it has not been resolved until now. There are a lot of files in my account, which has seriously affected my work and caused huge financial losses. hello i need help sheerid recently keep rejecting my documents i have tried with national id , and passport, and emailed them multiple times still no response and now i have been exceeded to try please help as this is frustrating 

In the design mode in figma slides, I noticed last week that I can’t shrink the layers panel for slides that have a lot of layers. This makes it really difficult to navigate between slides since it’s mostly covered up, and I end up toggling between slides/design mode to hide the layers panel.See attached screen recording:  

Suddenly, I can’t double-click to select anything inside of any element. This was working up until today. I am up to date on both my Figma Version and my Mac OS (Sequoia 15.6.1). Desperately need help on this, I can’t keep using the layers menu to dig down and select. 

Hello everyone,when changing the state of an instance of a button component with icons, the icons’ color does not change. Also, when switching the icon component within the button with another icon component it does not maintain the button component state’s color, but instead shows the icon components color.I do want the icons to keep the color of the button’s state though. I tried many of the forum’s hints, but none worked out for me. Here is what I did:I used the Material Symbol plugin to pick icons. Then, I created individual components of each icon. Next, I used the Icon Resizer plugin to resize them as variants. Then, I created a buttoncomponent with icons and text with variants of different sizes, states (default, hover, selected) and hierarchies (primary, secondary, ...) as the button component’s properties. I nested the icons to the left and right of the text in the button. When using the Icon Resizer plugin a double instance is created and the original icon renamed as .root-ic

I am really pissed of because it deleted my blog posts and wrote some random junk as an apology. I even didn’t ask it to make such a thing. This is happening for the second time. Whoever trained it in that way. Hear me. This is WRONG!!!What is more, it is not able to revert it!. It doesn’t have access to 2 older version!!! 

I keep on getting the following error when i try to update my branch and when i look at the status page - everything seems to be fine…. I am completely blocked - any suggestions how to fix this?  

My email account to which I use to get access to Figma has been disabled. The email got disabled and I could not access to Figma as well. Is there a way to regain access to that account? I wanted to post this question here to see if anyone had experienced the same thing. Thank you.
