The browser will reload the entire screen in black once, the hackers execute something, and the whole Chromebook blacks out and back in, and then now WebGL error shows up. I cannot load the Figma files in the Chrome browser. The abuse form doesn't work either. Ever.

Figma is really hackable. Any fixes?

Hi @Sharmaine,

I understand that you’re experiencing issues loading Figma files on your Chromebook and are seeing a WebGL error.

Based on the behavior you’re seeing and the error screenshot you shared (thanks!), this issue may be related to your device’s graphics capabilities or GPU.

To help us narrow this down, could you please try the following troubleshooting steps and let us know the results?

  • Visit https://webglsamples.org/aquarium/aquarium.html and increase the number of fish. Please check whether the animation runs smoothly without any issues.
  • Try opening Figma in another supported browser. In addition to Chrome, Figma supports Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

Once you’ve tried the steps above, please share the results with us. If needed, I can then help escalate this by creating a support ticket so our team can investigate further.

Additionally, please visit the following pages in Chrome and save screenshots of each for further investigation:

chrome://gpu

chrome://crashes

You don’t need to share these screenshots here in the forum, but please have them ready in case we need to create a support ticket.

Thanks,
