Hello, I’m experiencing as issue while trying to update a library in Figma. The publishing process almost completes but then gets stuck on the last 32 changes. I receive the following error: “Unable to publish 32 changes to the team library”.Could you please help me resolve this?Thank you!

I cant access my own design file which i had worked around 2-3 months ago.Is there any fix for this issue?

I'm new to Figma and have spent a few days now getting to know the program. Why don't I see what seems to appear like a default viewport setting with the component shortcut icon at the top of the workspace? What I’m currently seeing my viewportvs what I’d like to see (with the component icon top-center) 

I was conducting a usability test using a Figma prototype. It was a remote session on teams, so I sent the link to the participant and they opened the prototype in Microsoft Edge. The prototype loaded, however the participant was not able to click on any of the interactive buttons, it just wouldn’t work. I think tried on Chrome and it was fine. Can some help me troubleshoot the issue with Edge?

Hello! I am trying to make a functional prototype by changing the path a user progresses to depending on which multiple choice option they select. The problem is, how do I make the function action on “continue” but check to see which option is selected to route them to the correct place? Example, on click of Continue, if user selected option 1, take them to page A. But if they click continue with option 2 selected, send them to page B. Thank you!  

There is a plugin that we’ve used in our designs which was monetized recently. Now, it has reached its free limit and we’re considering to buy it. But it is not clear how it can be used in organizations. Are purchased plugins linked to a specific account, a project, etc? If we buy one, can other team members use it in our Figma? If it is linked to a person, what happens if the person leaves the company? Thanks!

Trying to change your email just the worst user experience ever! After deactivating Google SSO and updating the email in settings, then confirming the email address by clicking on the link in the mail it creates a brand new account on that email!!?? I’m at a loss for words and had to give up the process.

Hi everybody, I need help to create a section that has a sidebar menu with the works of my client on the left and then an image that represent each work in the center. I don’t know how to explain it exactly so i’m gonna put a screenshot so that is more clear but basically I want the images of each work to slide in on the viewport when I click on a specific work on the sidebar. Hi Figmanauts, quick question in case anyone has seen a cool workaround.I’d like to see if there is a clever way to make a bunch of components that share a parent element automatically all be the same size.I can’t set them to “fill” because I want the size of the parent element to be determined by the width of the largest child element (ie: the parent element is set to Hug).I don’t want to set the child elements to “fixed” because I want the design to be flexible, and be based on the width of the text inside each button.Manually what I’d do is I’d look at the collection of child elements, choose the one with the longest text and set it to Hug, and then set all the others to Fill. That will meet my requirements, except…. if the text changes, then the “widest” element may be a different element and then I have to go and switch which one has Hug and which one has Fill.Here’s an example:Imagine an autolayout frame containing a n

I’m trying to use @aws-sdk/client-s3 in my Figma Plugin to upload an exported page as a PNG, but I’m receiving a “Unexpected token .” in the console when running the plugin. I think this happens when trying to instantiate the S3 client. I assumed because this package can be included in the browser, it would be possible to import this into my Figma plugin, but maybe my assumption is wrong. I have made a component with 2 variants that has an animation between the 2 variants, but if i place it in the main parent frame of my website layout with giving it position fixed, it will disappear from the prototype preview. also, what i really need is a way to make this component sticky, but relative to the bottom of the viewport - i dont know of any way to do this, theres a setting to make it stick to the top of the viewport, but not for what i need. are there any solutions for these issues?

I have built a prototype out and when I play it on desktop it works fine. This prototype has a video background. When I play it on the mobile app, the videos are lagging on load causing a flashing effect. This makes the transition pretty janky. I have confirmed I’m on the latest update of app and OS, layers are named the same and in the same order. How can I fix the flashing videos on transitions?

I embedded my first prototype in Figma Slides. It added the file easily enough. But I have 3 different flows in the prototype. I’m trying to queue up flow 2 or 3 but when I go to present it always shows the first flow. There’s a dropdown under Interaction in the right toolbar to choose any of the flows in the Slides interface. But it always presents the first flow no matter which flow I choose in that dropdown.

I noticed the Framework event went over using gradients being accessible as a variable, but I’m wondering if I missed a detail on when that would available? I’ve refreshed my Figma desktop app and checked for updates and I haven’t seen anything that allows me to attach a gradient to a variable. Anyone have any guidance? PS: I am only interested in the native solution, not 3P plugins.

I need to export the images as they are, unchanged.Please add option to disable “Image resampling" when exporting. For the whole project, for all experts in it by default. 

On desktop I usually zoom in/out fluidly using cmd/ctrl+scroll. I was disappointed to learn this combination is not working on the new iPad Pro Magic Keyboard. Everything else in the Figma browser app works great on iPad except this one thing, and it’s a huge part of my workflow! Pressing Ctrl/Cmd +/- to zoom each time is pretty annoying.  I see other posts asking for pinch zoom with trackpad, which is probably harder to implement on a iPad browser. Surely implementing Cmd+scroll can’t be that hard, can it?

Dear Figma Community, I am facing a major issue with syncing components in a Figma file, and I’m hoping someone here can help me out. I have a file that is not syncing properly when I make updates to the component library. Specifically, when I publish changes, the review changes prompt appears, but when I click “Update,” not all instances of the component are updated. This is happening for multiple components. After some investigation, I noticed that in the libraries for the current file area, the component library I’m using keeps getting unchecked. This is a significant problem because both the library and the file I’m working on are quite massive and complex, so creating new files is not really an option. I have tried everything I can think of to fix this issue, but nothing seems to be working. If anyone has experienced a similar problem or has any suggestions for how to fix it, please share your insights. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

So, I just received the Educational plan for Figma, and now have a team with Educational preferences. I e-mailed Figma in the past on how to create projects within the Educational plan, where students cannot see or edit each others work. They e-mailed me back that I could either create ‘invite-only’ projects or ‘view-only’ projects. (see step 4 picture:)However, I cannot seem to  get this option when creating a team (See picture below). I tried emailing again, but now I get the response that I only have a ‘starter account’ and can only contact through Community Support Forum, therefore I'm reaching out here :) Can someone help me with this? With the educational plan I should have the same option

I want to know if there are more detailed animation properties documented for Figma animation styles (i.e bezier curve specs). I was able to get some details on the “dissolve” animation style in Figma using dev mode (see below). Any additional info akin to the dev specs found on web dev common css animations would be great. Your latest update broke images in a very important file and may have put a project in jeopardy. You forced this update on us. Now I have multiple broken image files that CANNOT be replaced. They appear as translucent rectangles that cannot be selected for more than a couple of seconds before disappearing. Too bad Adobe axed their offering. I am no longer an evangelist and feel forced to use your tool. Additionally, you uninstalled ALL of my plugins so as soon as another tool becomes adopted by the industry I am out. You cost me money.  I have been customer since you launched, but will not be the first chance I get. Hopefully Protopie or Framer catches on quicker.

i changed the color of the text which belongs to the table and color doesn’t change at all when it comes to the template colori think color style doesn’t work inside the tablethe color of the text only changes when it’s a raw color code, not a template-styled color.please help me , figma slide! 

Hi guys, I’m trying to export my product design portfolio as a PDF file. My entire portfolio is 75 slides and has a 229 images. Whenever I try to export my portfolio as a PDF Figma crashes. I have tried using different devices but none of them managed to export it. Does anyone have a solution?

I’ve used many programs/apps and I find that Figma’s PDF exports are always so large—even after using plugins to compress them. Example: Two page PDF document with only text, simple svgs icons, and two colours. No raster images, gradients, or effects. Super basic document. Figma export 9.5MB TinyImage compression 2.2MB Compressify.io compression 2.2MB I would expect this PDF to be no larger than 1MB in the first place. What is going on here? The only possible factor I can imagine is the maybe the canvas size (1130x1600px), but I doubt it because everything in the PDF export are text/vectors. Any help?
