Education Verification Failed

Hello! 

I recently completed the steps to verify my education status so I could access the education plan with my school email. SheerID said that I have been verified on their end, so I would need help from Figma. I did not receive any emails on my personal email so I did not accidentally verify the incorrect email. Please let me know what I can do to remedy this!

Hey again ​@kaburks04 , after verification with the Education team, it looks like your Figma Education verification is currently tied with a wrong email address (here, with a Gmail address). To use the Education plan, please verify with a school-issued email address instead.

Our Education team handles all requests to update the email on a verified EDU account. To get started with your request, please fill out this form: Request to Move Figma EDU Status.

Please note that requests are reviewed in the order they’re received, and responses can take up to 5 business days. Thanks for your patience!

Hi ​@kaburks04, Celine from Figma here. Thanks for sharing the details! Since SheerID has already confirmed that you’re verified on their end, I’ve gone ahead and escalated this internally so our Education team can review why that verification isn’t being reflected on your Figma account yet.

They’ll take a closer look at the account status and follow up once they have more information. Thanks for your patience while the team investigates this.
