Unable to Access Account Due to Deactivated School Email

Hello Figma Support Team,

I’m reaching out because I’m no longer able to access my Figma account. The email address associated with my account was provided by my school, and it has recently been permanently deactivated. I’ve confirmed with the school that they’re unable to reactivate it.

Unfortunately, this means I can’t log in or receive any account-related emails. I have important Figma files in this account and can’t afford to lose access to them.

I’d really appreciate your help in changing the email address associated with my Figma account to my current, active email address so I can regain access. Please let me know what information you need from me to verify ownership of the account and proceed with this change.

I understand that you’ve lost access to the school email associated with your Figma account and are looking for a way to regain access.

 

If emails from your old school address are being forwarded to your current email, the easiest way to get back into your account is to reset your password. Once you’re logged in, you can update your email address in your account settings.

Unfortunately emails from your old school address are not being forwarded to my current email. I will need someone from the Support team to help manually update the email address on my Figma account please.
