In files view, my slide deck has no preview image. It’s jst blank white. And I see no option to set the thumbnail like is available for regular files.

Hey Mike, Brendan here from the product team in Figma. Are you able to share a screenshot so we can diagnose this further? My email is bodriscoll@figma.com if thats easier!

Well, it appears that all I had to do was wait, because now I’m seeing a thumbnail. Presumably it shows the first slide as the thumbnail by default. Thanks anyhow!

Thanks Mike,

Let us know if you see a blank thumbnail again. You’re correct that the first Slide is set as the thumbnail. Appreciate the feedback!

Hey Mike,

Following up here, you can now set a custom thumbnail in Slides files just like in Figma Design. Thanks for the feedback and keep it coming!
