Hi!My team has noticed an odd behavior. We share prototype links with clients and internal stakeholders all the time and have been moving designs between pages and the URL’s we’ve shared have been linking to the correct design for a while now. Our workflow for a specific client is to have designs on a page for internal review, and once internally approved move the design to another page for external review with client. We use the move to feature to keep the comments and linking like it should be doing. We’ve noticed if we share the link via the prototype (play and then click the share button) the link resolved when the design has been moved to the other page. However if we copy the link from the flows panel under the prototype tab - the link breaks most of the time.  In looking at the URL from each way to share the prototype they product different URL links. Sharing directly from the prototype gives a URL that includes Page-id and node-id. Sharing from the flows sidebar under the proto

When I use find and replace, the text I use for replacement always gets the first letter capitalized. Example below:Find: “sample text”replace: “example content”“This is the paragraph with the sample text.” will get updated to “This is the paragraph with the Example content.”The typography style is set as “Case: As typed” Is this a bug or is there a different reason this is happening?

I would like to use Figma Make to prompt the creation of slides that I can use for a presentation. Usually what is first generates is in the right direction, but I want to be able to then edit directly on the slides (i.e. without vibe coding). Is that possible? If so, do I need to move it into Slides first? How do I do that? Thanks! 

I’ve been doing a form mockup using the Atlassian Design system, and I’ve encountered the following error when viewing it as a prototype, involving the drop down menu element.The field looks normal before hovering over it.It shrinks to this width when I hover.It returns to the correct width when clicking, but the text in the field defaults back to the default text that the component has when you first place it.I’ve tried switching the states to define the width as “Fill” for each of them, but it doesn’t carry over to the prototype view. I’m also have the same width issue with date picker fields when hovering over the as well.Is there any way to correct this?

I can’t seem to find a way to turn off the red measurement tool. If I go to View > Hide UI it does remove it, but it also removes other side navigation components that I need available.   

Hello guys, I’m trying to activate the Figma Education plan but I’m stuck:  Attempting to verify shows “Verification Limit Exceeded.” I reached out to SheerID, and they responded they were unable to process my request and that the ticket is permanently closed. So I can’t retry from their side.  I also tried to email Figma education team but still got no response at this point.  Thank you so much   

Hey, what happened with cropping raster image? Previously function worked as simple as holding Ctrl and dragging the edge. Now it crops from both sides. Do you have a new Art Director, Figma? Please fire him asap!

I am not able to publish plugin for free on figma community as on “Add Final Details” tab there is one mandatory Price field which is disables and no option is visble to turn off the Price field, so I am stuck on that last stage not able to move forward, can anyone help me? in manage plugin next to it only "Development" is written and I have all the code files in my local machine

MCP Server works, but Code Connect UI does not appear in Dev Mode. Can you enable Code Connect UI for our workspace please?

Hi,  Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere - couldnt find it.  I’ve made a Figma Site in my Professional account. I now need to transfer this Figma Site over to their Professional account so they can edit, add cms entries, publish etc from their account.  This is relatively straightforward in webflow - but i’m struggling to see how to do it in Figma. Surely its possible?? note: I appreciate I can download the fig file and send, but it wont include the CMS collections. Surely theres a way of transfering the Figma Site and its CMS collections to a different user account? 

I need a template that shows the date, company name, contact name, phone #, email , address, notes   

Hello team, Yesterday i applied for figma for education and got verified using sheer ID. I then signed up to figma. But, account is still showing as free. when i click on free button, its giving me option to upgrade but not showing education option. but already my student account was verified and approved via sheer id, but not reflecting in the figma account. i tried logging out and logging in, creating new team and everything possible. but nothing helped. Can you help me with this pelase? Regards,

I am currently a student and cannot verify myself to get access to the student plan. I have already spoken to the course provider and they say its because my account was created a while ago, which does not make any sense to me. I have also changed my Role to Education through settings. Can someone help?

Hello,I have been trying to verify my student status (for the student plan) for a couple of weeks now without success.Every time I submit the application, I receive an error message at the very end of the process.  "We're unable to verify you using the information submitted. Please check your information for accuracy, and only use your own mobile device or computer."Despite checking several times, every informations provided is correct but the result is the same. I have now exceeded the verification limit and can’t try again.I have tried to reach out to SheerID support a few times, but they’ve proved totally unhelpful, only sending me generic automated responses without providing any insight or help. They’ve closed every tickets without offering advice or solving anything.Any help would be greatly appreciated as I’ve already been missing out on quite a few teams projects, and deadlines are right in the corner.Thanks in advance 

I have been experimenting with Figma MCP server(local) with Augment in Intillij IDEA and it was working fine until Nov 25. But last week when I was working, it started returning error -{"jsonrpc":"2.0","error":{"code":-32001,"message":"Invalid sessionId"},"id":null}I checked with Admin that there is no change from their side. Also, when we load Figma design, the “Enable Figma MCP server” section shows temporarily and disappers. I have tried on two different machines with latest version of Figma desktop. The tools are loading. Thank you 

Hey, Figma Community!Recently I had to update my button and add icons on both sides. It had only left icon before and we already used it in our designs in many places, not long ago I was in need for button with icon on right, so I decided to update my initial component, which led to losing most of the defined icons, they returned to placeholder icon in the component. Could someone help, what could be a reason and how to avoid it in the future?button propertiesreset icon in the buttonIt happened to all button with label, but not all icon-only buttons. Hello, when I try to make a payment, I get an error saying “the card was declined due to frequent repeated attempts.” I waited 24 hours (or more) to try again, but the error did not go away. I then used a new card, and now the same error is showing for the new card as well. What should I do? The card is Visa.

In design and draw mode, there’s a horizontal scroll in the layers panel, but it’s not there in dev mode. Tried in two different accounts in two different devices, same problem.layers panel in dev modelayers panel in design mode

Hello everyone !I’m posting here because my Figma Education status issue is still unresolved despite many attempts, and this situation has been ongoing since October. To summarize clearly:My student status was successfully verified and approved by SheerID on October 2025, using my education email address. In the meantime, I made the mistake of changing the email address on my Figma account to my personal email, which caused my Education status to break / disappear on my account. After switching my Figma account email back to my student email, my Education status is no longer recognized: the app constantly asks me to reverify my student status. However, I cannot reverify, because the system displays the message “Verification Limit Exceeded” at the end of the form, since my initial request was already approved.I am therefore stuck in a loop:Figma asks me to reverify or contact SheerID, SheerID confirms that I am already verified and redirects me back to Figma. No new student verification

Hello, I recently downgraded to a free plan and would like to access my last few invoices (specifically for the partial refund that came after downgrading partway through my plan). Invoices are no longer visible in Figma, and I believe I need someone to open a support ticket for this? Thank you!

We have these icon colors set up for different button types.  But when I switch the size of the button(XS, S, M, L), these icon colors are retaining for the two of the sizes but for the other two sizes the colors are not retaining for the icons.
