Cannot locate publish as template option on Figma Make

Missing Publish as Template option

I tried to follow this article (https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/34716344138519-Create-and-update-a-template-in-Figma-Make), but I can’t see the “Publish as template” option. I’m the owner and an editor of this file. Anyone knows what’s going on?

I understand that you’re unable to see the 'Publish as template' option in the Share modal of your Figma Make file.

 

Since you’ve already followed our guide, you likely meet the requirements, but could you please double-check the following?

  • Paid Plan & Seat: Confirm the file is within a team on a paid plan and that you have a Full seat assigned.
  • File Location: If the file is currently in your 'Drafts,' please try moving it to a specific Project to see if the option appears.

If the file is already in a Project on a paid plan and you have a Full seat, yet the issue persists, please check the DM I’ll be sending you shortly so we can investigate further.
