Hi, I’m unable to sign in to my Figma account. The issue is that the authentication code (for verification/login) is being sent to my old Gmail account, which has become inactive. I no longer have access to that email, and I also don’t remember the password to recover it.Because of this, I’m completely locked out of my Figma account.Is there any way to verify my identity or recover access without using that old email?Thanks for your help!

This auto-layout frame is a child/inside a basic frame that I should be able to move things around in.  How the heck do I turn this off when I hover over to click and drag. all I want to do is drag the group/autolayout over a bit manually and arrows in this small space are producing too large of a move. this comes up for me a ton and it’s insanely annoying. I can’t click and drag without it also changing the auto layout spacing.  if I want to change that I will go to the tool sidebar and do it myself.  I don’t need this pink stuff trying to do it for me just because i’ve hovered over it.Also, FYI - I couldn’t even screengrab it through the OS, because this literally happens on hover, so I snapped it with my phone - hence the bad photo, apologies.

The issue appeared after the double nudge issue was fixed. So I assume a connection. Figma Desktop App version 126.1.2   

I’ve issue in syncing data from Google Sheet where the data is present in second or third tab. When I hit sync, the layer automatically hides itself and the data is not getting updated.But this is not the case for the first tab. Is this the known issue? should I keep 3 separate files to sync the data in Figma? 

I’m not sure what the is. I think there is a software issue. I can not find the file or the work i created for the past 12 hours

Our Sandbox tenant is experiencing issues. We are unable to log into previous Make files or published Make sites. 

I have been trying to re-verify my education status with my college credential. I had first contacted SheerId, they kept talking about school issued email id which is irrelevant to my case and asked me to contact official Figma support to verify my “Higher Ed” profile. So did I. Figma then replied to ask SheerId about the authentication process. I need help in this matter, please.This conversation happened between the end of October and the start of November 2025.

Hey everyone,I’m having a weird issue with Figma Make. The AI works perfectly fine in other projects, but in one specific file it crashes every time I try to use it.I even used Figma’s Duplicate feature to create a fresh copy of the project, but the AI still crashes in the duplicated version too.It doesn’t seem to be an account issue since everything works normally in other files. I’m wondering if it could be something inside this specific file maybe a heavy component, too many variants, large images, or some kind of internal corruptionHas anyone experienced this before? Any fixes or workarounds that worked for you?Appreciate any help. Thanks.

I’m currently in the process of redoing several Adobe XD projects of mine from a few years ago in Figma, and while I’m starting new with some visual assets, there are a few I want to keep as I’m building my components. The menu screen of this project featured a header bar with a beveled portion on the right (highlighted on the example below). I’m curious if there’s a way to scale the bevel portion based on the width of the text contained in it, without setting it up as two separate text containers via auto-layout. Are there any workarounds for this? 

Hello, I am reaching out in regards that I was trying to reverify my education info, and I am unable to as my school is not in your system. I have completed the form days ago and yet to hear back, I assume as because the form states its not monitored.  The reason that I cannot use my school email to verify is not only because they block outbound emails from other domains that are not my school but I have tried multiple times.

Sheer ID said I have been verified since December, but figma education still hasn’t responded to my email to fix the verification message on figma and I have a team project I need to to complete by monday.  Sheer ID has verified me but figma still tells me I need to verify my student status. Hi,I’ve tried verifying my student status I don’t know how many times but it doesn’t work. I’ve filled out the form and added valid proof of study, my course schedule as well as my program registration in both Swedish and in English but it says it isn’t valid. I’ve tried different ways for over a week and I really need to get it verified. I have a group project which I can’t access right now which is a big problem.Hope you can help!All the best,Filippa

Hello! I’m having a lot of trouble verifying my account. I’ve sent forms of identification, which the website cannot recognize, and whenever I attempt to verify the account again, it says that I’ve exceeded the attempts to verify so it’s practically useless for me to even try, even if I use a different email. I have assignments to do that are due soon and I cannot even begin them, so if I’m stuck without an account then I’m pretty much screwed. Can someone help me? Thank you!

I cannot connect GitHub from a Figma Make template. The error I get is like the following. How do I fix? It is quite frustrating.

Hi Figma team / community,I’m looking for help with a billing issue and possible refund.I was originally on a Student plan, but I ran into a student verification issue that took 1–2 months to resolve. During that time, I upgraded to a Professional plan because my files would otherwise be locked, which would have affected my teammates.I have since left the team, but I’m still being charged for the Professional plan. I’ve now been charged for over two months, even though the upgrade was only a temporary workaround due to the verification issue (which was not caused by me).Given that: I upgraded only to prevent my work from being locked The verification issue took a long time to resolve I’ve already left the team but am still being charged I’d like to ask: How can I fully cancel the Professional subscription so I’m no longer charged? Is it possible to receive a refund for the 3-4 months I was charged due to this verification issue? I’d really appreciate any guidance or help resolvin

I am getting this screen everytime I try to load my design that was created in Figma Make. I have an very important meeting and now I have nothing to show. What is going on. I have 1,700 credit remaining out of 4,250. I can see other publish Figma Make files, but I am unable to see the latest project I created last night. Please help, this request is urgent.

Good afternoon.The command in Figma is Shift+D. It opens the Dev Mode window, and it's also supposed to close it.However, for some time now, neither Shift+D nor Ctrl+Win have been working. The Dev Mode window can only be closed with the Back to Design Mode button.I'd like to know if this is a temporary bug or will it always be like this? It's really inconvenient.Thanks!

Does anyone else have this issue?Where the sub-components is locked & positioned with “Ignore auto layout” then suddenly they start to move on its own half way through my work on various artboards (not components, all different artboard)  even though I have NOT touched the position of the locked layer or the main component of for example the “scrollbar” component.   Like this? mass components with the “ignore auto layout” move on its own Even after I locked down the layers, the change still happened over on all my artboard frames (20<) T^T all of a sudden (note the top bar with (x), button and scrollbar are all components)Before: After 

I duplicated the agency read-only file as File B, and I also have File A, which is the older agency file.Both files use the same design system, but File B contains some newly added pages. What would be the best way to:  Copy the new pages from File B Move them into File A Relink the instances on those pages so they point to File A’s components (right now all the instances are still linked to File B) Thanks

Hi all - I have tried to trouble-shoot this issue but I cannot, for the life of me, get Figma to do what I want.  I have a very simple image variant that has a desktop and mobile version. The height of the image is the same in desktop and mobile. When the image scales down from desktop to mobile, the left and right edges should contract but the whole image should not scale down. See image explanation below. I’m also sharing the settings I have for the main component. Are there any fixes for this?Heeeeelp!
