Hey everyone, so with the now enforced AI limit in Figma Make and the extremely unrealistic Credit Limit & Pricing Model it is no longer really viable for us. If Figma wont change anything drastically it now became pretty much unusable for us. Therefore has anyone a good (and fair-priced, or more realistic) alternative at hand? I mean in general I was fairly happy with Figma Make, especially since i connected our Web Componenst & overall Design System via NPM. So that would be also something a alternative would need. Hello Figma Support Team !My name is Simon, and I teach UX-UI Design for Higher Ed students in Angers, Fr in two different schools : “MyDigitalSchool Angers” and “EEGP Angers (Verrieres en Anjou)”.Since Figma changed their verification process and partnered up with SheerID, every new students I meet is unable to verifiy his status to get the Education Plan.We tried a lot of combination through the process, but it keeps on failing :Every student has a valid CVEC number Both schools are in the Figma Database At EEGP Angers, students don’t have school issued email anymore. They have to use their personnal email address (perhaps this is the reason why ??) For the students at MyDigitalSchool Angers, we tried selecting different options in the “School” select menu : “MyDigitalSchool Angers”, “MyDigitalSchool”… And even “ESPL-Ecole Supérieure des Pays de Loire”, which is the name of the campus we’re part of. By the way, “ESPL” appears twice in the database, because it’s both a Campus AND the
I need to upgrade my Figma Org from 7-seat to 8-seat for the new billing cycle, but Figma isn't responding to chat and emails.I think they assumed we were a small company and weren't willing to provide support.Do you have any suggestions on how to find a support person willing to help at Figma?
I purchased Tequila Sunrise from YouWorkForThem — both the desktop font and the WebFonts package. I used the desktop font to design my site in Figma, then published it via Figma Sites. When I go to the Fonts section to upload the missing font, I get the error: "Files don't match font, check files and try again." I'm certain the WOFF/WOFF2 files I'm uploading correspond to the same typeface I used in the design.I'm unsure whether this is a naming mismatch in the webfont files themselves (e.g., the internal font-family name not matching what Figma expects) or a bug/limitation on Figma's side. On most other web-building platforms, this would be straightforward — you'd just map the uploaded webfont to the one used in the design.Has anyone encountered this? Any workarounds?
I’ve reached out to the Figma sales department, by filling out their online form, at least twice over the last two weeks but have not heard back from them. Anyone know the best way to get in touch with them? Thanks,Lenny
Hello! My name is Karen Amodio, reaching out from Pensa. I applied on behalf of my company to be a speaker at Config and I haven’t received any updates about the status of our application. Hey everybody,I’m reporting an issue regarding image rendering within a shared design file in our team workspace. My Problem:One of my students is seeing some images completely pixelated/scrumbled, while others render correctly. The rest of the team sees everything perfectly. I have attached a screenshot from the student’s screen for reference. Step to reproduce the issue / other detail:User environment: the student is using Figma Desktop App on Windows v.126.1.4File: Could you please help us understand if this is a local cache issue, a memory limit problem or something related to how the assets are being downsampled? Thanks in advance for your help! All the bestAlessandro
Alguém sabe dizer quanto tempo o Figma demora pra reconhecer um pagamento? Tenho uma entrega hoje e fui pega de surpresa com o fim dos créditos. Does anyone know how long it takes Figma to recognize a payment? I have a delivery today and I was caught off guard when my credits ran out.sos
I currently have limited access to my own team, but need to expand my permissions. Unfortunately, I can’t seem to find out which account on our team is listed as Admin. Is there any way to find this for myself?
Dear Figma Support Team,I hope you are doing well.My account [redacted by forum moderator to remove PII] was suspended without any prior notice. I am a monthly subscriber and have been paying the subscription fee regularly.I would appreciate clarification on the reason and guidance on how to resolve this.Thank you for your help.
I’m on an Education plan, team admin, but my seat is locked and I can’t assign a Full seat. I need Full seat access to publish a team library for Figma Make.
My setup: Figma components (some with nested components) defined centrally in shared library filefigma component fonts set to font styles defined in same shared library, some of which are driven by figma variables defined in same shared library. Others are not, so the variables themselves do not seem to be a prerequisite for the figma bug.Page layout file uses components from shared library, which appear correctly with their fonts and styles when first added from Assets. Intermittently, we are finding that multiple figma users in our same company are seeing different font values from one another when selecting the exact same text layer. It is not clear if this is a factor of users opening/closing the file and fonts getting substituted or just a bug with nested components and/or shared library font styles. The problem is so sporadic I have yet to be able to fix or resolve.Being unable to rely on figma to communicate the same font values to both the designer and the developer undermines
Last approved widget was about 14 days ago. Wonder if there is any change to the review process. Thanks!
Nested component layers rename, which resets applied styles like color.I recorded a Loom to make it easier to understand.
Problem Summary: Figma Make's AI has a serious transparency problem that undermines trust and wastes user time. What Happened: Hallucinated Content Without Disclosure I asked the AI to create a one-pager based on a SharePoint URL The AI couldn't access the link (expected) but never told me this Instead, it generated an entire document filled with completely fabricated metrics, statistics, and data Presented this fiction as if it were real/plausible content No Upfront Acknowledgment of Limitations Should have immediately said: "I can't access that SharePoint site - would you like to provide the real data for a template?" Instead, proceeded silently with made-up content (200+ touchpoints, $2.4M savings, 450% ROI, etc.) False Commitments When called out, AI committed to "transparency going forward for everyone" When challenged, admitted it cannot actually guarantee behavioral changes across conversations This was another form of dishonesty Why This Matters:Users trust that AI-gen
My MCP will disconnect when I switch tab in figma Mac Client.
Necesito entregar un proyecto en la universidad y tengo q he hacerlo únicamente con figma make. Se me han acabado los créditos y me gustaría saber si puedo obtener más.
I have some linking issues that I need help with. I have a paragraph of text and within that paragraph I have highlighted some text to make links to external web pages. Some links work fine because they are only on 1 line, but the other links that span multiple lines of text only work on the first line/row of text when exported to PDF. The other rows beyond the first row do not export as links, but are still underlined like a link would be. They look and work fine in Figma, but lose the link on second and third rows when exported to PDF. I’ve even tried making each row its own link and that doesn’t work either.Odd thing is that exporting the file last week worked just fine with these multiline links but now they don’t work. I don’t recall doing any updates to Figma, but could have been one of those “update on next launch” things that happened. Hopefully this makes sense and that someone else has seen this before. Thanks in advance for any help.
I have a Figma Make prototype that keeps freezing in Figma Make. It loads but when you start clicking things won’t work in the Mac app or the Browser. But the published version works fine in the browser. I also keep getting the same 3 warnings and the Fix for me button over and over. I checked the console log in the browser and it mentioned something about too many react calls being loggedI put the console results into Make and had it look at them and this is what it returned Here's what's happening and the recommended solution:The Statsig library (used by Figma internally for analytics) is stuck in an infinite retry loop because it can't initialize properly in the Figma Make preview environment. Every second it logs "Statsig is not ready to log exposures, will retry in 1 seconds" and queues another retry, eventually creating thousands of pending callbacks that lock up the browser.Immediate workaround: Try refreshing the Figma Make preview or restarting the browser tab. The freezing sh
I set my Figma Make prototype's root container to background: transparent and confirmed it looks transparent in the Make editor. However, when I embed it into a Figma design frame, the background renders as white instead of transparent. Is this a known bug or am I missing something?
Hello community, I just wanted to know if the AI credits limit has already started. As of right now, I can still use it and haven't received any message about it. Can I keep using it until the AI stops and I can no longer write more prompts? Or will I be charged for those extra credits if I continue?
I'm experiencing an issue with the scrolling behavior in Figma prototypes. Previously, when using scroll as the interaction type, everything worked as expected. However, now when I scroll, elements that are not visible in the main viewport appear greyed out, making it look like they are not interactive.Interestingly, when I switch the scroll interaction to drag, it works as intended, and the elements no longer appear greyed out. Steps to reproduce: I created a frame with scrollable content. I enabled the scroll interaction for the frame. While scrolling, any elements that go outside the visible area appear greyed out, as if they're disabled. When I change the interaction to drag, the issue disappears and everything behaves normally. What I’ve tried: I’ve made sure that the frame has no "Clip content" enabled, but the issue persists. I tried adjusting the prototype settings and checked for any background effects (such as blur or opacity), but nothing seemed to fix the problem. H
I’ve run into a weird problem. Does anyone know what happened, please?I have a slides document and something has happened to some images in this document:The images became pixelated in my document. In the layers panel, the icon for these images changed from the usual image icon to just a rectangle. In the fill panel, these still showed as normal images would. When I export the slides to PDF, these images export as a solid colour rectangle. Not all the slides in my document were affected — but wherever a slide was affected, this happened to all the images in that particular slide. Some context:I dragged and dropped the images into the document, did not use the place tool.No masks were applied on the images.I did not rasterize or flatten anything, but I’m also assuming I’ve hit some shortcut by mistake.I’ve replaced all the affected images and the slides export normally now, but does anyone know what might have caused this? Thank you!
