Hi guys, how are you? I'm facing the following problem: yesterday I got an email saying that my seat request was declined (even though I've been able to access the team as a guest for 5 months now) and after it all my drafts and the team access were gone. Today my company managed to put me back on the team (still as a guest) but my drafts are still gone. I've found a link to one of my old files but I had to request access (???) and no one has managed to allow it (in fact no one even got the request). So what's going on? Did I lose my drafts forever or not? Is this a bug or we're just not looking at the right place? Chat with Fig says the missing drafts should be on Admin > Content > Unassigned drafts but the admins haven't found it yet. Help me get my files back, pleaseeeeeeeeee.

I want to honestly explain my situation and sincerely request help with recovering my account.Account id that was suspended  - jainmuskaan2003.14@gmail.comI was previously using Figma through a student account, but suddenly my access was removed. I tried re-verifying my student status multiple times, but it wasn’t going through, and I was really stuck. Around the same time, someone contacted me saying they had a special offer for Figma access. I genuinely thought it might be a legitimate student-related offer.As a student, I can’t afford the regular subscription, and since my work depends on Figma every day, I agreed without fully understanding how the subscription worked or where it was coming from. I truly did not know that this could be against Figma’s policies or considered wrong.Now my account has been suspended, and my studies and daily design work are badly affected. I’m using pro plan, and I turn AI content training features on in Settings page. I don’t know why 😭  

I need help fixing this issue. Every time I expand my prototype, I always get these recurring syntax errors. It could be related to the file size. It autofixes them but only results to more errors and more credits spent fixing errors that the AI made. It’s very concerning as Figma Make will roll out its credits limit soon and most of the credits I’m using is used on fixing errors the AI created.

When selecting a specific layer and pressing CMD+L to import it, the system imports the outermost parent element rather than the currently selected layer. However, using the right-click context menu to import the same layer works as expected and correctly imports only the selected element. This inconsistency between the keyboard shortcut and the right-click panel behavior needs to be addressed.

I am experiencing an issue with Interactive Components where toggling a nested variant (the Switch) causes Layer Overrides to revert or duplicate incorrectly. Specifically, when changing the state of the 'Profile Photo' row, the instance is failing to preserve the text and visibility overrides of adjacent layers, resulting in a layout mismatch.

I have subscribed for figma professional for collaboration seat  from December 19th to january 19th by paying approx 5 dollars and i thought wvery month it will continue with collaboration seat but in January the invoice came around  approx 41 dollar which is completely out of mind .The invoice is included full seat, dev seat and collaboration seat and one time fee  approx 15 dollar without my consent.Please support on this.I have cancelled by subscription .

Hi everyone, I'm trying to showcase my prototype in a presentation adding screen recording of the app. Unfortunatly it doesn't work because it's lagging. I tried also changing fps on After Effect, but it doesn't work.  Do you have any advice ? 

I was on the professional plan, but no longer needed it so cancelled it in December. Figma now says my invoice is past due and that I owe them money for another month. I cancelled it, so why are Figma still trying to charge me?  

we change the email domain from @a2a.eu to @a2a.it so i cannot grant admin permission to our new colleagues who have @a2a.it because they are saved as guest. This a urgent problem especially now we have new colleagues.

Hi Figma Community,I’m a student at UNC-Chapel Hill trying to access the Education plan for my UX course. I’m currently locked out with a "Verification Limit Exceeded" notification and need help getting this resolved.Timeline of my attempts: Jan 13: Emailed education@figma.com with my Student ID, class schedule, and transcript for manual review. Jan 15: Sent a 48-hour follow-up to Figma. Jan 20 (Today): Sent a 7-day follow-up to Figma and reached out to SheerID support. I haven’t received any response from Figma Support in a week, and I'm falling behind on my coursework. Does anyone know how to reset the SheerID limit or get a manual verification prioritized when support is unresponsive?Thanks for any advice.

Your plan was previously paying in EUR and therefore must continue to pay in EUR. Please confirm your payment information works in EUR. I am trying to resubscribe to figma but it only indicates the price in US dollars, however I need to pay in EUR and then when putting in all my account payment details (European) - I get this error. Please help! 

Good afternoon! I recently created an account. I wanted to use “Make at image”, but it's just not there =( 

I just got to the pat of "change email", I clicked it, I went to check my new email address, clicked on button confirm email, message said link is malformed and it prompts me to make a new account from the new email. I have tried this nymerous times and have cleared chache and cookies.

I've been chasing this for a week now and I can't just figure it out. Here's my set up: Component 1: Heading, Paragraph, Button All these elements have Boolean properties that can toggle their ON/OFF. Each one of them are components themselves holding properties such as weight, size and colour. Component 2: 4 Component 1 in a row I am trying to set the component 2 so that I can toggle ON/OFF all the headings, paragraphs and buttons at once I just can't do it. If I select the Component 1 nested instance element (i.e. Heading) in Component 2, under appearance I see the Boolean property correctly but I can't do anything with it. If I select the whole Component 1 nested instance I can see the Heading / Paragraph / Button component properties, but the only thing I can do is link them to a variable, not to a Component 2 property (my plan was to create a "Show heading" Boolean and link the nested Component 1 instances properties to it). I tried to create a Boolean Variable and while I can lin

We maintain a large design system. In an earlier iteration, our team used text styles, which have since been removed and fully replaced by text components. In our main library file, the old text styles no longer exist and are not applied to any component labels.However, when inserting instances of these components into other files, the deprecated text styles are still appearing on the component labels. Hello Figma Team,I would like to provide feedback regarding the Supabase integration flow in Figma, specifically around project creation and cost transparency.I recently created Supabase projects directly through Figma. In the Figma UI, the flow presents a simple “Create Project” dialog that only asks for a project name. There is no visible indication that this action will immediately provision a continuously billed virtual Postgres server, nor that it may incur significant ongoing compute costs beyond a Supabase Pro subscription.From a user perspective, the term “project” strongly implies a logical workspace or environment, not a dedicated server with hourly billing. As a result, I upgraded to a Supabase Pro plan solely because the number of projects exceeded the Free plan limit. Despite already being on a paid plan, I was later charged over $60 in additional compute fees, which was completely unexpected based on the information shown during the Figma-driven creation flow.I want to em

Upon opening Figma, it told me that I was not able to have more than 1 project as I was on the Starter plan. I tried to verify and the website told me that I had exceeded my verification limit. However, I am a student, and have ALREADY verified my status as a student according to SheerID, on September 18th, 2025, so it remains that this is a Figma side issue.Please let me know how I can remedy this ASAP. I am in an internship that requires me to work in Figma, so this is a bit time-sensitive, and I would rather not delete my one existing project to make room for this current one I am trying to create.

Hi folks, looking for advice from people who’ve built or scaled multi-brand / white-label design systems. We have a large master design system and need to support multiple brands on top of it. What we’re trying to achieve:  One single source of truth for components Ability to evolve master components (add variants, change structure, etc.) All brands should inherit those updates automatically Colors, images, and other visual styles should come from brand-specific configs Avoid component duplication and version drift  The mental model we’re aiming for:  Structure & behavior → master design system Visual identity / theming → brand level  Questions:  Have you done something similar? What worked best for you: tokens, variables, nested libraries, overrides? Any major pitfalls or things you wish you’d done differently early on?  Real-world experience or links to solid write-ups would be much appreciated 🙌

Here is the error, and it seems that all of my previous works are affected. I just updated one of my projects and this error occurred, then I found it should be a system level problem affecting all the projects. Does anyone know what it means? The auto fix didn’t work well, what should I do now? Thank you everyone. 

Hello,I love Figma Slides, but I encounter massive loading issues with the Presentation Link, both on all my machines, using a guest account in Chome, as well as my clients (which is worse). It feels like that there is no page preloading in place as well as the CDN to provide the data is very slow/not optimized for Germany/Europe?I already optimized all my Images with Downsize https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/869495400795251845all all Videos with Handbrake before I upload them. The Slides should load instantly, but viewing them is a chore. It’s not anything I can send to clients confidently, as slides even load slower than a second for a single 1080 image!This is urgent: The only alternative to provide Presentations with Videos to clients online is Microsoft Powerpoint online, but their Support for custom fonts is bad, and it adds up a lot of steps to export the pptx from figma, then upload it to Onedrive and share it from there. So this is not a viable alternative!

To anyone using Figma across multiple client organizations (e.g., at a design agency):In the Figma Desktop App, it is difficult to recognize which organization is currently "active" across multiple tabs. This leads to a critical risk: accidentally creating a new file in a client’s workspace when it was intended for another organization.Because Figma defaults the "active context" to the last one visited, a simple shortcut or clicking the "+" tab can result in hosting internal or sensitive data in the wrong workspace.Is there any technical workaround or structural solution to make organization boundaries more rigid in the Desktop App?We have already tried manual workarounds such as: Opening different client projects in separate windows. Using different browser profiles with specific colors to distinguish Orgs. However, these are not ideal.
