Figma file stuck on “Application is being restored” – not loading

Hi everyone,

I’m facing an issue where my Figma file is stuck on “Application is being restored” and not loading at all. I also received the error “Couldn't fetch this version.”

This started after using multiple AI-generated versions in the same file. Now the latest versions won’t open, and it’s blocking my work.

I’ve already tried:

  • Hard refresh
  • Incognito mode
  • Different browser and network

I’ve also contacted **Figma support and shared file access.

Has anyone experienced this before?
Any workaround to recover the file or prevent this issue?
