In Figjam, when I draw a connector from one shape to another, it only wants to snap to the leading edge. Sure I can drop the arrow near to one of the other sides, but it’s not attached to that shape, so won’t follow it if I move the shape. Is this a know bug? 

I'm creating a Text Input and I have an icon that can change to a badge, for example. However, when I swap the icon for the badge, it inherits the border radius from the Text Input's property and doesn't keep the badge's.Example: The Instance Swap has 0px, and the badge has a 4px border radius. When I do the instance swap, the badge appears with a 0px border radius and not the 4px defined for the badge. And this happens with any other component I swap.Is there a way to make the Instance Swap retain the characteristics of the component chosen in the swap?

Our web vs. our Figma componentHi everyone,I’m looking for a better way to maintain consistent widths for component instances across responsive breakpoints (Tablet/Mobile).Currently, everything works perfectly on Desktop where instance widths are fixed. However, the layout breaks when using min-width and max-width for smaller screens. I’ve experimented with Layout Grids, but they leave awkward empty spaces below when an instance's visibility is toggled off.I’ve considered making every single row toggleable, but that feels like a bloated, confusing experience for the designers using the library.Does anyone have a solid workflow or a "holy grail" file for handling these responsive group cases? I’d love to see how you’re structuring your layers!

For the past few months I’ve been able to see my images on my file but for the past few days all the previews have disappeared & I’ve tried to update Figma, update my computer, clear my Figma cache and nothing has worked. The images are still within the Figma but I just can’t view them

Please be mercifulRemove ai tool bar at the bottom and bring bottom tool bar as it was from the begining. Or give an option to hide without hiding the rest panels. I dont need ai tool bar and I want to hide it but I couldnt find a way to hide. Please be merciful !

Hi, everyone! I got a new phone, installed the Figma mobile app on it, and logged in, but every time I try to use the Mirror function, I get this error, saying Update or switch browsers. I tried everything, updated the browsers, switched between Opera and Chrome, logged in and out and nothing seemed to work. (My phone is Xiaomi Mi9 lite, with Android 10) Do you have any idea how to resolve this issue?

Hi, I only want to change my emailadress, but when I want to try I got the following message:“Cannot update email - "-TlaOfMJzVdfPFeCsF1iADMThi4UPDoyADsS6ZvFbE4" is already taken”So I know,  the new emailadress already exists (used for an other account in Figma), so I tried to delete that account (got no files in there), but when I want to delete that one, I got the following message “An error occurred while attempting to delete your account.”I can’t get out of this loophole, and don’t have any other options. What am I doing wrong? I already erased my cookies/cache and that kind of stuff.Thanks in advance! Martijn

I often use the Tab key to navigate back and forth between various text objects on the screen.But now the behavior seems kind of random. Sometimes it works, but sometimes it just tells me “no text suggestions found”, and other times it indents the text. I have toggled off “show text suggestions” in the hopes of removing the “no text suggestions” behavior, but it still happens.Has any one figured out the logic behind the Tab key??

Hi everyone! I have recently verified my account as I need to use Figma for my class. I had an email stating that my account has been verified and I also emailed SheerID and they also explained that my account had already been verified. However, I cant access the features under the Education plan. I have emailed education@figma.com and they haven’t replied. My student email is [redacted]. Yesterday I published my Figma Site (portfolio) and when I go to click my Base domain, a new webpage opens but it simply says “NOT FOUND” in the top left corner. I’ve tried clearing my cookies, going incognito, checking on my phone, but nothing seems to work. My site is published with no issues. Additionally, I’ve also tried to link my own domain through GoDaddy with the new DNS records, but my domain still seems to link to my old expired Squarespace website, even though I’m pretty sure i’ve deleted all the old DNS records linking it to SS. 

I bought a plan without wanting to and forgot about it now I have been charged for it when I really need the money for schooling I hope someone can help!

Hey Team,I have been trying to link a sub-domain to my Figma Sites for a while and it’s not happening. I have a main domain ‘www.imtiyazahmed.com’ and I created a sub-domain from it : ‘kittu.imtiyazahmed.com’I followed the proper procedure to add the DNS Records, name and values. I buy and maintain my domains in GoDaddy site. Once I added this sub-domain to Figma Site, it told me that it might take upto 24-48 hours for the changes to go live. I waited for 48 hours, there was no update. Then I disconnected the domain, deleted the records and recreated the subdomain and DNS Records. I added it to Figma site again and waited for 48 hours and yet there was no update. It kept showing me that ‘it will take more time’Kindly help me out. I have attached the images for your reference. Hi team, we have been prototyping some fairly complex web app concepts, and just wanted to understand what happens as we get into really high version numbers (e.g. up version 95 in the one I am looking at right now) – would like some understanding/reassurance of the limits before we really start orienting our prototyping process around Figma Make.Is there a limit on how many prompts a single file can have? Are there any risks in having a file with very high numbers of versions? I saw another post saying their file stopped being able to iterate at version 900 because of how large the prompt was getting (with all the history). Is there a way to “fork” a new file, and this file effectively restarts at version 0 – I was surprised that duplicating retains all the previous versions.Slightly worried about the usage limits of roughly 80 prompts per month – I could do this in a morning! I created my Figma account yesterday and recently verified it as a student account. However, I’m currently unable to access Dev Mode, which I was hoping to use to better understand the design-to-code workflow. I also tried creating a team first and then upgrading it, but the option was not free as expected.Given this situation, I would like to ask whether schools are supposed to have an education plan that includes full access to Figma features such as Dev Mode for students. I want to make sure I’m not missing a required step or institutional setup to properly access these tools.

I am trying to access the Local Variables tab in the Properties Panel, but it is missing (all objects deselected, I am in the Design mode, and on the Move Tool). I have force quit and restarted , I have run the latest update, but only Styles and Export tabs are visible. I am using the Desktop App on a Mac. See screenshot below:  

I am unable to update the social links in my Figma Community profile. The fields for my X.com  and Instagram accounts do not save any changes I make. Show me a toast like : ‘X handle is not valid. Somebody had the same problem.At the moment of publish or update any file, Figma shows me that the actual url are wrong and dont let me continue.

This is a bug I’ve encountered multiple times in the past month that I haven’t seen addressed. If you create a variable by using “duplicate” it does not get published. However, if you create a brand new variable using that “+” option it gets published. So I have about half my library that can be published because I created a lot of my variables using copy/paste or duping. 

Since yesterday I’ve been unable to open any files in Figma. Any file I try to open gets stuck on loading, like in the screenshot attached.These are the things I’ve tried: Quit Figma, restart Mac Uninstall Figma using brew uninstall figma, clear caches using sudo dscacheutil -flushcache and then sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder, reboot Mac in Safe Mode, reinstall Figma. It opened one file, then after restarting in normal mode no files opened again. Followed the instructions in this page, ran rm -rf "$HOME/Library/Application Support/Figma/"{Desktop,DesktopProfile} None of these steps have solved the problem. 

Whenever I embed a prototype to a slide it downscales the resolution by a lot. Scaling it up makes it pixelated, losing resolution. No matter what are the prototype settings.

I’ve added a prototype to my slide, but it is quite obviously pixelated. The frame for the prototype is 1512x982. The prototype looks fine on it’s own, but once it’s placed in slides, it seems like it gets downscaled, specifically to 400x259. Any ideas on what I’m missing? Attached are three pictures: 1. The view directory from the prototype, 2. Immediately after adding to Slides, and 3. After scaling up to fit the space in SlidesView from prototype (1512x982)size once added to prototype (400x259)blurry once scaled up (1146x742) 

Hey,I wanted to upgrade my plan to a Professional plan, but I constantly ran into this problem with the billing address and telling me that my country does not support the currency.I filled in the credit card details and my billing address correctly. For context purposes, I live in the netherlands and pay in euros like everyone else and my credit card details are correct. I re-tried it multiple times. I find it weird to come along such a problem. Could I get help with this?
