I’ve noticed uncomfortable lags when I share my screen via MS Teams and present something in Figma Desktop. It feels like fps drops drastically - from 60 to around 15-20. Mouse hover feedbacks with a noticeable delay. These lags I started notice after updating to macOS Sequoia. My setup: Macbook Pro 2021 M1 Pro with 32GB RAM, macOS Sequoia 15.0 External monitor HP Z27 connected via usb-c thunderbolt Figma Desktop 124.4.7 MS Teams for mac Version 24244.507.3125.3475 I started investigating to identify the root cause and so far I figured out the next: The issue is only with Figma Desktop and MS Teams mac app. If I use Figma in browser or MS Teams in browser, everything is smooth. The issue is more noticeable with UI3. When I switch back to previous UI, it works much smoother, however not perfect and smooth as without sharing. When I share the internal Macbook screen the issue is less to not noticeable. At least there is a difference. I tried different thunderbolt cables, no difference

I wanted to enhance one image in the project I worked on. I was using a Basic Figma plan. I clicked on it, and saw a few options to enhance it/remove background etc., using AI. It said that these options are only available in Professional plan. When I upgraded, the options to enhance the image are no longer visible. When I click on it, only advanced options to Crop it appear, but none of the functions that I wanted to unblock. I wonder where to find these options after I upgraded to Proessional

Hi everyone, I am trying to figure out if this is a setup issue on my side or a current Figma variables limitation/issue. I am building a design system using a three level token structure:Base tokens → Semantic tokens → Component tokensWhere:Base tokens contain my raw values.Semantic tokens alias the base tokens for global values.Component tokens alias the semantic tokens and is what I used for my design library components.What I expect:When I update a base token, the change should cascade through semantic and component tokens and be visible directly on the components.What is happening instead:When I change a base token, both the semantic tokens AND the component tokens update correctly inside the Variables panel. In the Figma mac app I have a Make file that will not display changes to a specific page (code file). If I publish and then go view it at the url the changes are there. I also tried viewing the Make file in the browser but it still did not show the changes. If I alter the code in code view and come back the change is there, but the preview still doesn’t show the change.I tried refreshing the tab. Closing the file and reopening it.I tried going to Help > Troubleshooting > Reset Figma and Restart but it did not correct the issue.I also tried manually clearing the cacheQuit the Figma desktop app Open Terminal.app and enter the following command: rm -rf "$HOME/Library/Application Support/Figma" Open the desktop app againThe AI in Figma Make was just as confused as I was about the situation 😆Any help solving this so I don’t have to Publish after every change and view it in the browser would be appreciated.

I’m running into an issue where I cannot open one of our Figma files. When attempting to open it, I receive the following errors:• “Connection error: -106”• “An error occurred while opening the editor”This is happening in both: Chrome (browser version) The Mac desktop app I’ve already tried: Restarting my computer Restarting my router Opening in an incognito window Testing a different browser Fully quitting and reopening the desktop app The issue persists across both the browser and desktop app, which makes me unsure whether this is a network issue or something file-specific.---Edit: this was resolved after I restarted my computer again. Assuming it was a glitch in my internet connection. 

I haven't been able to access any Figma Make files for the last 48 hours, and am completely stuck.I’m getting a generic load error on every single file. Here is what I’ve tried so far: Restarting all devices Checking both the desktop app and web browser (same error on both) Duplicating the files Testing on both simple and heavy files I reached out to support but haven't heard back yet. This is blocking time-sensitive work. Has anyone else run into this or found a workaround?

Hi,When using Auto Layout with Horizontal Wrap enabled, it’s not possible to apply a negative value to the Vertical gap between rows, while negative values are allowed for the Horizontal gap between objects. Is there a reason why negative values are restricted for the vertical gap but allowed for the horizontal gap?Thanks!

Hey! I have a small but annoying problem. I recently created a new component with Slot, Instance swap property and preferred values. When I use the component preferred values don’t appear by default for some reason. Hello, I bought yearly figma last year for $144.00 and now my bill shows $230.40 to use it for another year. I have no other editor seats. Just me. And I want to buy professional plan. Do I have to pay this?

Bug Report:I’m unable to sync Figma Make updates. I’ve been trying to resolve this issue for the past five days, but the updates are still not syncing. 

Is this a bug? or is it my file? I never encounter something like this…. see screen record, when I resize it, the width start going loco

Usually when I do quick mockup-designs, I tend to select multiple layers → hit enter to get to a child-layer → and press tab or shift+tab to make a specific multi-select of many layers (for example changing the opacity of a group within a card without affecting the rest of the card).Now, whenever I select multiple layers, hit enter and start tabbing - it just selects the first child of the last item in my selection, and deselects all other selections.Is this a purposeful change or a bug? I reloaded the tab, and restarted the program - issue persists.

How fair it is to do so? -- i got reply after 3 days on [Request 1744900 ] & that too very formal answer on 13th & i have replied immediately and till now - 18th Feb 2027 i didnt heard from the customer care. Recently I’m having increasing issues when trying to add smart-animate hover states to buttons, panels etc.Instead of a smooth transitions, the background of the item is flashing at 100% opacity for a split second.It’s impossible to present work when it does this. It’s affected interactions that had been working perfectly fine before.

I had figma free education plan which i applied for now they emailed me to re-verify by september 29 or I'll lose those pro features now I joined figma recently a month back i have re-applied for verification but they say i have exceeded limit for verification or availed this offer. Hello, I'm reporting a persistent bug in Figma.Issue: Unable to publish prototype updates via the Preview tab. Error Message: 'Something went wrong, reload and try again' (in red). Start Time: Jan 27, 2026Troubleshooting steps I've already taken: Refreshed the page; Switched browsers and used Incognito mode; Restarted both the app and the computer; Duplicated the file and attempted to publish (the error happens in the new file as well). Please let me know if you need any logs.

Hi all, yesterday my developers noticed weird behavior of fonts. Basically they opened design we agreed upon and noticed all text styles are changed to bold ones. I never saw this in the input field of Typography, maybe some of you did already.I got there this option to reapply text style. I didn’t do anything to the library / text styles, no one else from the team as well. I was able to see the change as I was going through version history and I was able to restore the correct version where fonts were okay. I still can go into the version history and if I click the one with problem - it will open it with the messed up fonts.All I know I did at that time when this happened was that I moved some screens from a different page in the same file and I changed the background and section colors. But I was not messing with fonts, components or anything else. Did this happened to anyone? Can someone help me identify what went wrong so we can avoid it happening again? Thanks!
