While collaborating on a Figma file, we noticed an issue where text layers sometimes change unexpectedly. When my collaborator selects and edits a text object, it occasionally turns into a stroke-only text with no fill color. However, the properties panel still shows the text as having a fill, so the change isn’t reflected there.The only workaround I’ve found is to repeatedly click the affected text until it reverts back to displaying as a proper solid-filled text.Steps to Reproduce: Open a shared Figma file with at least two collaborators. Have one collaborator select a text layer and attempt to edit the text. Observe that the text sometimes switches to a stroke-only appearance, even though the properties panel shows a fill. Expected Result:Text should remain a solid fill when edited, with no mismatch between the canvas display and the properties panel.

I run some quick plugins on my local usually and at times when I see the figma links in gmail, it usually opens in my browser.  And I remember loading my plugins using the manifest.json and running it in browser. But for some reason recently that option seems to be missing. Tried To Use Pattern fill in Figma Sites but during Publishment the issue is raised by "Pattern Fill Only Supported On Vector Object" Even though it is used on a Rectangle Shape which Is vector

This is what's happening:1. When I try to copy and paste from the browser to the Figma Windows app, the function does not work at all. 2. When I try to copy and paste inside a figma file using the Windows app, the function still does not work.The shortcut and right-click options do not work for copying and pasting.I've had this problem since yesterday. I am using the most recent figma update for the figma windows app, and I checked the browser clipboard option, which does not help me.Please help me resolve this issue as soon as possible. It's very annoying and makes it difficult to use the app.

When using the built-in Google Font version of Open Sans, there are discrepancies between the font style and font weight between full seat users and dev mode users. All full seat users in our account see the following listed in Dev Mode as 600 and Semibold. The dev mode only users see it as 400 and Condensed Regular.Full seat: Dev mode only:

I made a website in Figma Site and everything was going well, but now when I preview the website, the font appears different than in the actual design. What is happening? 

Greetings, as I try to use Figma the slightest wrong touch causes a large pop-up option menu to cover the work area. This is the one that begins with “Copy… Paste here… Paste to replace...” Is there any way to disable this from ever appearing?

A team member wanted to make changes to one of our Buzz files. She has edit rights for the file. She made the changes in the Text boxes via the ‘edit content’ icon. I could see the changes in the text fields as well, but they aren’t showing in the design. They only showd in the design after i clicked into the text field and made a change as well (e.g. added a space or a ‘.’

figma account is paid ..despite doing the payment, owner account is still locked. This is unacceptable..totally frustrated after complaining multiple times to figma via hep center..nothing happened..

So I’ve built a site using variable sets as usual with intention to have both Light and Dark modes available only to find out there is no “Set variable mode” interaction in the menu for Figma Sites. Am I missing something? And if the feature is just gone, is there a workaround you can recommend to change the variable sets from the website UI? 

Since Figma made changes to the UI panel and how autolayout is displayed, I can’t figure out how to change the layer stacking order, which is resulting in my tooltips appearing beneath the text below. Anyone know how to find the settings to change this ordering?

A Figma document that I co-created with someone has been maliciously deleted by its owner (the creator). I'm looking for a way to restore it without going through the creator. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.🙇🏻

I’ve been wanting to change my email to my .edu email to verify for the education plan on Figma. I have been trying to change the email multiple times, and there’s always a popup saying that a verification email was sent, when it actually was not.I’ve even tried making a new account with my .edu email, but there’s no email with the verification link.Figma support does not even respond, I have tried contacting them. I’ll be happy if someone can help me resolve this issue.

Hi!I’ve “developed” a web app via Figma make, it gives me and my team the possibility to add markups to animation shots. It’s working and all, but what is missin is persistency and collaborative work.I tried adding supabase to the formula, but it’s not really working. I’ve started using Figma Site mode and no plugins I use nor the option to get new to add showing up. I’m on Prof Plan. Did I miss any setting changes or it’s not available in Site mode yet?

This happens with large text boxes that stretch the entire height of my screen.

We’re building a country selector with flag icons for our design system. For legal/IP reasons we couldn’t just grab an existing flag set. Our IP&S department suggested we create our own abstracted, round versions so they’re safe to use.We designed the icons in Figma. To make them round, we used masks on groups (instead of subtracting everything into one circle shape), because otherwise it would be a huge amount of manual work and would result in SVGs with tons of paths and layers.The problem:When we export from Figma, those masks become opacity masks in the SVG. These render fine on desktop browsers, but cause issues in iOS and Android (both in apps and sometimes in WebViews).So my question is:👉 What’s the best practice for handling this?
