I’ve already checked other posts mentioning this might be a bug, but I haven’t found a working solution yet.Also, copy & paste functions (Ctrl/Cmd + C / V) are not working for me either.Has anyone faced this issue recently or found a fix? Any help would be really appreciated!Thanks in advance.

Since about an hour ago, the mirroring connection between the pygma laptop and the phone has suddenly been disconnected, and the file of pygma has not been opened.Therefore, we are currently unable to work on it.

Hi Figma Community! 👋I’ve been using Figma on and off for design work, and the free plan has always been enough for my needs. Now, I’m diving into Figma Sites, and it feels like a perfect fit — no more handing off designs to a developer for Webflow! But I’m a bit confused about the Professional plan tiers ($3–$16/mo). The help article Manage a custom domain for your site states: "Available on all paid plans" and "Professional plans can connect up to 10 custom domains." However, the pricing page suggests Figma Sites is only included with the Full seat ($16/mo), not Collab ($3/mo) or Dev ($12/mo).I reached out to support a week ago about this but haven’t heard back yet. So, I’m turning to you all: has anyone tried this already?Specifically, I’d love to know:Can I set up a custom domain (apex or subdomain) for Figma Sites on the Collab seat ($3/mo) or Dev seat ($12/mo) in the Professional plan? Or is this exclusive to the Full seat ($16/mo) ? The article mentions a limit of 10 custom dom

Am I the only one who is totally confused as how the “Import from Figma” dialog window in Figma Make works? It shows only some files but not others, don’t know why. The text search is completely random IMO and you’re not able to select a specific page or a frame in the file - it just selects some random frame from a file.Why cannot I just browse all my projects and select a particular file and frame?From what I understood, selecting the design through this dialog is somehow superior to just copying and pasting a particular frame into the prompt. Figma Make is then able to extract more detailed information. Copying & pasting is just like a screenshot, I guess?

In the Share settings of a given file (Share button >  Can view > Advanced), the Discoverable via search checkbox option is unchecked by default.I would think this refers to search within Figma (vs discoverable in general search engines), but searching for these files returns them in the results even with this setting is unchecked and when I’m not a member of the Team or Project.What does checking or unchecking this option actually do? And is there a way to globally, or at a Team level, change the default setting?  

Hi! I'm currently testing the Figma MCP integration using Cursor. It works fine when running cursor from Windows, but I’d like to have everything set up and working from WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux).I tried forwarding port 3852, but it’s still not connecting properly.Has anyone managed to get it working from WSL? Any tips or steps you can share would be greatly appreciated!

Does anyone know of a way to do promise-based messaging between the plugin and the UI? (@Gleb 🙂) Using the globals: parent.postMessage(...) → figma.ui.onmessage → figma.ui.postMessage(...) → window.onmessage can lead to spaghetti code… promises would be so much cleaner. Really only the UI → Plugin direction would be fine, e.g.: someCoolMessaging.post(type: 'get-some-data', payload: { id: 5 }).then(data => { console.log('got some data', data) }) .catch((error) => { console.log('error getting data from plugin') })

Hi, I have been playing around with Figma MCP and it looks very promising. I am curious if @figma or anyone else has any guidance on writing system rules in cursor (or another IDE) specific to reading Figma designs / frames better.I am experimenting with creating links to other figma files / libraries for accessing Phosphor icons, Brand Colours, Brand Symbols etc to see if I can improve the accuracy of the coded output from my design. (*there appears to be a lot of guesswork by the A.I. despite these components are imported from a team library)*I will do a test on the layer naming to see if it works better.**If you are using Annotations on the design canvas I would be grateful to see what content you are adding there. 

I’m having an issue in my Figma Design file with colour library for past few days. Inside the colour library dropdown, the colours I have added from my Design System are not showing any thumbnail. I can see all the colour variable created in the Design System but none of the groups are showing colour thumbnails. Once I switch from grid view to list view in the colour library dropdown, I can see the complete list of all the colours and they are working correctly. But I’m still not seeing the colours thumnail associated to the variables. I’m attaching screenshots to give a better context of what the issue is. Any idea what I’m doing wrong or any suggestions to resolve this?Not able to see the colours in colour libraryCan see the colours in list view but colour thumbnail is still not visible

I’m trying to create a template for an app. I’ve spent a lot of time creating a clickable prototype with a bunch of different pages and I want to import it into Figma make and have all those page connections work in there. Hi everyone, here’s my situation:I have two Figma accounts, one on the Organization plan and one on the Professional plan, using different emails. I want to transfer (or copy) projects from the Organization account to the Professional account, including the Design System, and keep component links intact.However, when I use “Transfer” option under Settings from the Organization account, the Professional account doesn't receive any in-app notification. When I click “Review Request” from the email, it says “The transfer request you received has been cancelled by the team or organization that sent it. It's no longer available.” Even though no one canceled itAny idea why this happens or the best way to transfer projects to different account that keep all the components intact?

This is a feature that holds our creative agency team back from fully integrating Slides into our workflow. Designers need the option to drop reference imagery around slides outside of the presentation, but at the moment these images will move around and behave oddly. 

I am getting an error that I cannot publish a plugin to my team internally. It says "You must enable two factor authentication to publish".Our company uses  SAML SSO (Okta) for login verification so that should not be needed. I am using the Desktop App.I have received AI response from Figma to my support ticket after waiting days, and it basically could be summarized as ‘you shouldn’t be having a problem’ when I clearly am.I don’t know how to get around this so I can publish a plugin my team should be using.
