How are AI credits counted toward fixing problems done by Figma?

I am currently using the free plan which I might jump into a paid plan if I understand more on how AI credits are applied when Figma makes the mistake.  For example, I ask Figma to create a Stats Table that allows row entries and after any changes to a row it needs to allow me to save via a button.  I have now asked it 8 to 10 times to fix the bugs in this.  These are bugs that Figma created as in the Save button doesn’t save or after typing 1 character in a text column it would lose focus.  Do I get charged AI credits for asking Figma to fix the save button and lost focus?  Figma also is great at telling me where it found the problem or knows their is an error; are those charged back to me if I ask to fix?

I completely understand if I ask lets say something like columns to be swapped or to add delete functionality then those are changes on my behalf.  Now sometimes when functionality is added, it may cause something else to change.  For example, there was already a Save button and I wanted a Delete button.  Figma decided to put the Delete button underneath the Save instead of next to it which had the space to do it.  How many credits would I be charged if I had asked at the time of creation of the Delete button to place it to the right of the Save button instead of asking the Delete button to be moved after I asked it to be created?  It seems as if I don’t include where something goes then I should be charged to ask for it to be moved, but if it was part of the request it shouldn’t be?

I just spent 10 minutes informing the AI that the buttons still do not work.  I am not asking for any new modifications and kept telling it that it isn’t working.  Every time is comes back saying it found the issues and starts to rewrite a lot.  Then it tells me it found two startup scripts, etc… everything it did and I had nothing to do with it.  Now I have run out of the free credits until Oct 1.  I really want to purchase a plan, but if it will eat all the credits because it is constantly fixing its own code I believe it isn’t worth it.

I agree with you. I have been using Figma Make to work on a few different projects. I immediately reach the limit of AI credits for the month. In addition, Figma Make is so buggy that I spend an enormous amount of time asking the AI to fix mistakes/errors. It takes several attempts and very often breaks some other part of the app when it fixes something in another area of the app. I don’t always realize something breaks in another area of the app until later. Figma Make is not a production ready AI, I have been through 188 prompts on a simple wallet app and I am feeding it screenshots, wireframes, explicit instructions over and over again to get the app working. I don’t agree with Figma creating a prompt limit ever. Creative work with AI is too unpredictable for that and I won’t be able to use the app after the limits are enforced, there’s no way I will pay for a buggy AI app where a majority of prompts are to get it to work properly.
