 have a layout where I am showing an interview originally recorded in english. I have same interview with indian regional languages (i.e. in Hindi, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil and Bengali). I want to switch these videos on language selection

 Hi everyone, I try to attach the number with number variable as I want to make a functional counter. I already do the variable as in the picture below, but when attaching the number with variable, there are no variable detect(Pic 1). So, I need to type the variable. After type it in search box, the variable appear(Pic 2). Which my question is it normal? Because on my first attempted it the variable option was available and the process went smoothly ok. The prototype mode on + and - went smoothly (Pic 3). But when I try to test the prototype, only + and - are functional. “1” are not functional  

Hi all,I have a problem when trying to publish code connect file because the component has a property with an emoji character in its name: ✏️ LabelError is “Validation failed for ...: The property does not exist on the Figma component.”It’s a Compose project.In @FigmaProperty value, I tried to use “✏\uFE0F Label”, “\uFE0F Label”, “✏ Label”, “Label”, but nothing works…Does someone have an solution for this issue?Thank you for your help.

My page not showing the design but in outline it shows all the design elements

I am stuck. My navigation bar doesn’t stick at top though I’ve set it to sticky at top and canvas stacking is set to first on top. Not sure what else I can do.Also Fixed (stay in place) is disabled.Any help? Much appreciated.

hi, i find this file from community, i would like to create an effect once i key in all the value in every input section, then the cta button wil become active, i try to make it from scratch but i can’t make it. can someone tell me what i missing?  

We use an Enterprise Full seat token to access Figma files via the REST API (Tier 1 endpoints). Files in our Enterprise workspace work fine, but files in a personal Free plan account hit rate limits. The documentation note mentions file plan affecting limits, but it's unclear how the token owner's seat type and the file's plan interact. Hello,My Figma file is completely unusable due to a massive amount of runtime errors.Figma freezes and becomes unresponsive, even after duplicating the file.This started after a backend integration issue, which is now resolved,but the file seems stuck in a corrupted runtime state.I cannot access Preview or Diagnostics properly, and the editor itself becomes unstable.This project represents several months of work.Could you please help recover or reset the file state on your side?Thank you.

Hey everyone,I’m currently on the Figma Education (Educator/Student) plan, and my account is already verified.I want to change the email address on this same Figma account (from an edu email to a personal Gmail).My concern is:Will changing the email revoke my education status? Has anyone successfully changed their email without losing the edu plan? If it does get revoked, did Figma support help re-verify or transfer the status?I’ve seen mixed answers online, and I don’t want to risk losing access accidentally 😅Any real experiences or advice would be super helpful. Thanks in advance! 

I’m currently structuring a design system in Figma and need to design screens for three different sizes (desktop, tablet, and mobile). To streamline this, I’m setting up variable modes for each screen size.I have separate libraries: one called Foundations and another called Core. In Foundations: I’ve created variables for screen sizes and other recurring dimensions, like internal content areas. In Core: I’m building a 'Content Card' component with specific variables for its width at each breakpoint. The issue is that when I apply a variable mode, I have to select the desired mode twice—once for each collection (Foundations and Content Card).I’m looking for a more efficient way to handle this. My goal is to reduce manual work and repetition. Since I need to create all versions for every part of the project—including navigable prototypes—I want to minimize clicks and keep the component volume as low as possible.

Hi, I have been using Figma Make, and I used to be able to see the code of the files in <> Code tab and edit the files, but one day I clicked something and i can no longer see the contents of the files just the file names. I would like to be able to see the code and edit, hoping someone can help. I am sure its a quick fix, unless others have experienced similar situations. 

Hey there, I hope this one isn’t too obvious but I am finding myself very stuck.What I am trying to do, is set up my file so that when I am hovering over an image situated on the left, a different image will appear next to it on the right, and when no longer hovering on the original image, the image on the left would disappear. This is a scrolling page, so would hope that both images would scroll up and down with the page. Thank you!

Hi. I made a project on Figma Make. It works well, but there is an issue with design. There is design difference between Make Preview and Published URL.This how project looks like on Preview and this is how it should be. And this is how it looks like on Published URL. Need way to use same component library across projects with different color schemesDescription:I’ve built a component library file in Figma that includes buttons, inputs, cards, labels, etc. This library will be used in multiple upcoming projects.The goal is simple:Use the same components from the shared library in all projects, but apply a different color scheme (branding) for each project — e.g., Project A → Red theme Project B → Green theme Project C → Blue theme ...and so on. I built the entire component library using variables (for colors) and published it. However, when I add the library to another project file, the variables are not accessible or tweakable there.Note: I’m not talking about variable modes, since I’ll have 10+ projects with completely different brand colors.What I need:A workflow that lets me: Use the same published components from the library in every project. I’m wanting to flatten my image that uses a mask, into a single image, that I can then apply strokes to etc.  When I flatten tho, the lines go outside the image. I can’t seem to do a stroke on the masked image either though (cause 1. I want stroke outside and 2. it messes with the line colors too!) 

I cannot see the right side bar when the chat textbox is open.
