Hi, I’m wondering if the view console button for the Figma Make browser moved or if it’s just gone? I appreciate the recent change that shows an address bar so I can go to specific pages, but I’d love for the console view button to come back. It seems like now I have to wait for a bug to happen and click “Fix for me” to get the console to appear? I’d like to toggle it on manually like we could before.

I was just furious about this and took to storm on google to find a work around. Ctrl + Shift + I (Uppercase i) in Developer Mode gives you the console, but we’re NOT in Developer mode of Figma. I started playing around with the shortcut and found that Ctrl + Alt + Uppercase i (on windows) opens the FULL frontend inspection/developer toolkit, including the console output. I’m not 100%, but I don’t think this worked before. Seems like we got an upgrade without being notified. Definitely nice, but would’ve been nice to know, considering the language model doesn’t have access to the console output and for super complex stuff like what I’m building, this is crucial.

Hi there,

Thanks for the feedback I’ll share this thread with the team.

To open the console in Figma Make, please try the following:

  1. Click the <> icon to toggle to Code view.
  2. The "Open console" button should appear to the right of your avatar.

Thanks,
