Hi everyone, I’m trying to understand the full scope of what agentic AI can access in Figma through the Figma MCP.
Is there a list of MCP tools and the Figma data model (objects/nodes and their properties) that agents can read or modify? For example: layers, their names, design tokens, token values, token descriptions if available, etc.—basically anything that exists inside a Figma file or design system.
I’m looking for a comprehensive breakdown of what agents can access. Put differently: are there any parts of a Figma file that agents cannot access via MCP, or is access effectively broad to everything exposed in the file’s data model?
If you have documentation, examples, or hands‑on experience, I’d really appreciate it.
