Hi, I’m unable to sign in to my Figma account. The issue is that the authentication code (for verification/login) is being sent to my old Gmail account, which has become inactive. I no longer have access to that email, and I also don’t remember the password to recover it.Because of this, I’m completely locked out of my Figma account.Is there any way to verify my identity or recover access without using that old email?Thanks for your help!

This auto-layout frame is a child/inside a basic frame that I should be able to move things around in.  How the heck do I turn this off when I hover over to click and drag. all I want to do is drag the group/autolayout over a bit manually and arrows in this small space are producing too large of a move. this comes up for me a ton and it’s insanely annoying. I can’t click and drag without it also changing the auto layout spacing.  if I want to change that I will go to the tool sidebar and do it myself.  I don’t need this pink stuff trying to do it for me just because i’ve hovered over it.Also, FYI - I couldn’t even screengrab it through the OS, because this literally happens on hover, so I snapped it with my phone - hence the bad photo, apologies.  

Hey everyone,I’m having a weird issue with Figma Make. The AI works perfectly fine in other projects, but in one specific file it crashes every time I try to use it.I even used Figma’s Duplicate feature to create a fresh copy of the project, but the AI still crashes in the duplicated version too.It doesn’t seem to be an account issue since everything works normally in other files. I’m wondering if it could be something inside this specific file maybe a heavy component, too many variants, large images, or some kind of internal corruptionHas anyone experienced this before? Any fixes or workarounds that worked for you?Appreciate any help. Thanks.

I’m currently in the process of redoing several Adobe XD projects of mine from a few years ago in Figma, and while I’m starting new with some visual assets, there are a few I want to keep as I’m building my components. The menu screen of this project featured a header bar with a beveled portion on the right (highlighted on the example below). I’m curious if there’s a way to scale the bevel portion based on the width of the text contained in it, without setting it up as two separate text containers via auto-layout. Are there any workarounds for this?

I duplicated the agency read-only file as File B, and I also have File A, which is the older agency file.Both files use the same design system, but File B contains some newly added pages. What would be the best way to:  Copy the new pages from File B Move them into File A Relink the instances on those pages so they point to File A’s components (right now all the instances are still linked to File B) Thanks

Hi all - I have tried to trouble-shoot this issue but I cannot, for the life of me, get Figma to do what I want.  I have a very simple image variant that has a desktop and mobile version. The height of the image is the same in desktop and mobile. When the image scales down from desktop to mobile, the left and right edges should contract but the whole image should not scale down. See image explanation below. I’m also sharing the settings I have for the main component. Are there any fixes for this?Heeeeelp!    

Hi everyone!I'm trying to replicate the TikTok "Classic" text style in Figma for some social media slides. I want the white background (Fill) to wrap tightly around each line of text individually (creating that "stepped" look), exactly like it does in the app.Right now, when I use Auto Layout on a text box, it just creates one big rectangle. I've tried "Hug Contents," but it still treats the whole block as one shape.Is there a way to do this without manually creating a separate text layer for every single line? Maybe a plugin or a clever workaround?Thanks in advance! 

We’re running into an issue with Code Connect that started last Friday.We’re currently rebuilding our Design System, and up until last week we were using Code Connect successfully to map Figma components to code in our GitHub repo. Since last Friday, variant restrictions no longer match as expected, so the intended use cases/examples don’t appear even though the file still publishes without errors.What we observe Publishing the .figma.tsx file succeeds. Repo access/permissions appear unchanged (Figma still has access to the repo). The Code Connect example that should match a specific variant combination never shows. This exact setup was working correctly before last Friday. HiMultiple component buttons with variables and interactions are mimicking what the other does unexpectedly. I have several pages each with a question and a selection of answers. I’ve used variables to help with the interactions and it was working fine. But suddenly once answer A for example is picked, it's already highlighted as if its been selected on the other page. I’ve looked into issues, so I’ve given them different names but the issue still persists. The one thing that is connecting them all is the use of variables applied when using interactions. I was under the impression the same variable sets could be used on multiple buttons? But should I have different one. So page one would have Question 1 set, etc. Thank you in advance for the help!Best, Matt 

Hi Figma Support,I am writing because I am unable to access the Education Plan despite being a student. I am facing a loop where I cannot verify, and the third-party support has closed my case.The Issue: Role Confusion: In my account settings, my role is listed as "Education" (see screenshot), but I do not have the Education Plan features and am still asked to upgrade to a paid plan. Verification Blocked: I attempted to verify via SheerID multiple times without success. I have now reached the limit and cannot retry. SheerID Response: I contacted SheerID support to resolve this, but they refused further assistance and permanently closed my ticket with the following message:"Hello, Thanks for contacting SheerID. I deleted my account by accident and I lost important projects. I cannot do anything about it apparently but I need help… I never received an email to confirm any deletion nor any link to download data or reverse something. I am completly lost here...

I was playing around with Mirror and somehow I ended up saving a playable version on my phone.   Sadly, I don’t remember how I could have done that.   This is really handy because I can now open the app away from my desktop and see/share the Figma Flow. I think it has something to do with a Page.  ?? I just don’t remember how I did it.    😫

Hey everyone! 👋I’m currently building my portfolio site with Figma Sites (loving it so far! 🎉), but I’m running into a GDPR question.I plan to add Google Analytics for basic traffic stats — which means I technically need a cookie consent modal for GDPR compliance (I’m in the EU).As far as I can see, Figma Sites doesn’t (yet) support any built-in cookie consent options.So my questions: How are others here handling cookie consent with Figma Sites? Is there any native solution planned? Have you successfully embedded 3rd party tools like CookieYes, Osano or others? Any tips or workarounds would be super appreciated! 🙏

I everyone, I need help with figma sites.When I use Figma Site and I try to edit text in a section, for example in the header, it doesn’t automatically update in the other breakpoints, same things for pictures, they don’t update on other breakpoints. However, if I delete a section, it does get removed across all breakpoints, and the same goes for deleting a text block, it disappears everywhere.Can someone explain me what am I doing wrong please ?Thanks, Arthur

We are facing an issue on Hand-Off file (Dev Mode):When we changed the token spacing name (ex: from Sm to Md) and publish DS library. The main component on Working file is updated but its instance in Dev Mode isn’t updated , the developers still see it Sm. How to deal with this problem?I don’t want to publish working file as a library. I’m wondering if it’s possible to share view only files to our community pages but when users view it they can’t copy an element and paste it elsewhere?  I’m asking because I think it’d be cool to share my Figma community link with clients as a portfolio.
