This seems like a silly question. I’ve been using Figma for many years and I still don’t know how to do this:How you normally create an image fill is to drag or upload an image into the fill panel. BUT, HOW THE HECK DO YOU USE AN IMAGE THAT EXISTS ON THE CANVAS? Do you literally have to export it and then bring it back in? 

I created a component library that has been used for some people. But when i make a little change in the main component respecting then layers names, or just change de auto-layout typograph people say that when they update the document the instance override to the content in the main component. I already tested in my own file and it doesn't happened anything. I don't know what to do anymore.

I’ve tried to add an embed in which I’ve added the html code from my tally form but I’m not able to add this to a button inside my navbar in order for the user to access the form. Does anyone have any idea about how this might work? A workaround or any suggestion about how I can achieve this would be great. Also any idea when forms will be something easier to do in figma sites? I would have guessed that by now this would be already a feature supported, as many sites have forms or pop-ups, overlays and so on.The other solution is just to make another page with that form but still I would be an ember and not something more integrated in the figma world.

I might be the idiot here, but I always forget how Figma handles updates. I’ll briefly see the prompt letting me know an update is available, which makes me think it requires some action from me (as most of the programs I use do.) If I miss the prompt, I struggle to either manually update or confirm whether the update happened in the background.I am using the desktop app for Mac. I think what I’ve gathered, and correct me if I’m wrong:If I don’t see any prompt about updating, Figma is up to date. Always assume by default that I am up to date, it happens automatically. The prompt disappears when the update is complete.I had something to do today when I saw the prompt, so I didn’t read the entire message. Maybe it literally says I don’t have to do anything, I just missed it cause I was busy. 😅 In which case, my bad!Another question I have is:Is there any way to compare my version number with the release notes? Hi! My project disappeared and shows as deleted… It isn’t in trash, or draft. It simple is gone. But in the little window of preview on top bar, it appears the project, it’s there. But doesnt load. Hi all, is it possible to export the entirety of the chat log for a project in Figma Make. Client is asking for it as a sort of ‘Show your work’ for how the Prototype began and what prompts were used to get it to it’s final state. Thanks in advance!

I have the same issue. I Mistakenly accepted a dev’s request for the dev mode seat and also quickly reversed it to free seat, but it’s been added to my invoice for the next billing cycle as “One-time charges and credits”. This makes no sense to me at all, can you guys make it such that payment is requested at upgrade so one knows ahead, or ask the user to confirm this action since it’s going to attract a prorated cost. Now I have to pay for something I won’t use, just feels fishy.Please do something about it.Thank you.

trying to embed a published Figma Make .figma.site URL as an interactive iframe inside a WordPress site using Elementor. Unable to find a way to generate an embed code for this type of link, as the embed option is only available for Figma Design/Prototype files, not for Figma Make published sites.Does anyone know how to use Figma to make these amazing AI generated Figma Make design usable on a site?

I have used figma's free plan for a while, and then upgraded it for convenience (just to be able to remove backgrounds from pictures really) - I paid for the most basic plan they have, I believe? It was 40$ for annual subscription, and it was very convenient for a while. I paid it in February, and today, they have charged me for monthly subscription which was 171$???? I have not upgraded my plan, nor have I changed it from annual to monthly. Maybe I did something wrong, but idk... I am very confused, because I'm not well-versed in design apps, so any help or advice is appreciated :(

I was using the Claude figma mcp server integration until the new updates in figma. After I updated to the latest version I couldn’t run the figma desktop bridge plugin. When presenting UI designs to clients, I’ve noticed that the way we showcase the screens can make a big difference in how the design is perceived.Sometimes showing raw frames directly from Figma works fine, especially during early feedback stages. Hi!As a little context, I’m a graphic designer from south america. I’m currently working on a figma plugin made to export source images.
