Question

How long does it take for a Figma OAuth app to get approved?

I submitted a public OAuth app for review over two weeks ago and haven't heard anything back yet. Just to clarify, this is not a plugin, it's a standalone app using Figma OAuth with the REST API.

The wait is starting to affect our deployment timeline. The submission page mentions 5-10 business days, so I'm wondering if I'm missing something on my end or if wait times are just longer than usual right now.

Thanks!

Hey @Benjamin Barak, thanks for reaching out!

Our Community team aims to review submissions thoughtfully and as promptly as possible, but timelines can vary depending on current volume and team availability. Once a decision has been made, you’ll be notified via the email associated with your Figma account.

If your app is not approved, you’ll receive an email outlining the reason, along with any relevant feedback. You’re welcome to resubmit after addressing those points. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Hey @djv thanks for the quick response! I understand but is there any way to get a more specific estimate or have someone confirm that our submission was filed correctly and is in the queue?

Hi @Benjamin Barak, thanks for following up!

I can confirm that your app is already in the queue as of 13 March 2026 on ticket #1794496, but there is no specific timeline I can share.

The team has directly expressed to my team here in the Community that they're currently experiencing a high volume of submissions, which is impacting review timelines. But while they're unable to provide an estimated timeframe or position in the queue at this time, please know that your submission is in line for review.
