Plugin review: Unclear waiting periods

Hi,

Submitted a plugin for review on April 7th, it's now the 15th and I've heard no feedback or update.

The last submission took about 1 day and it was rejected (understandable as it was a test submission). I'm reaching out as I'm not quite confident on what the actual waiting period is, as there seem to be different periods.

Is there a system for this like status tracking, estimated queue times, anything? Even something as simple as "reviews are currently taking X days" on the submission page would help a lot.

Are we the only ones experiencing this?

For further context, resource ID: 1603862402776369499

Any clarity would be appreciated.

Hey @Servly, thanks for reaching out and for sharing all that context!

You’re right that review times can vary. While some submissions can be reviewed quickly (like your earlier test), others may take longer depending on current submission volume. There isn’t currently a public status tracker, but I checked on your submission, and it’s still in the review queue with no issues flagged so far.

The team is currently experiencing a high volume of submissions, which is impacting review timelines. While they’re unable to provide an estimated timeframe or position in the queue at this time, please know that your submission is in line for review.

That said, I’ve raised this internally and shared your follow-up so it’s now on the team’s radar to prioritise. The team will reach out as soon as there’s an update, whether that’s approval or feedback.

Really appreciate your patience in the meantime!
