Hi, Our Figma annual plan renews on April 21 and I want to downgrade 9 members from Full seats to Dev seats before the renewal date. I want to make sure I'm doing this in the right order to avoid any additional monthly billing or access issues.My plan is to reassign each member individually on the Members page first, and then confirm the updated seat counts in the renewal dialog. Is this the correct approach, or should I adjust the seat counts in the renewal dialog first?Also, when I downgrade a member from Full to Dev, does the change take effect immediately or only at the next billing cycle?Thanks!

In my Toggle Switch component, I have a mix of properties (variants and booleans). I’m able to reorder the variants but it seems I cannot reorder the boolean. I want the order of my properties to be:Variant - “State”Boolean - “Label”Variant - “Label Position”Is this possible?

If a website gets backlinks from older blogs or sites that don’t get much traffic anymore, do those links still provide value for rankings?I know that high-authority and active sites are usually better, but I’m wondering if a link from a quiet or less-active blog still counts in Google's eyes — even a little bit. Does anyone know how Google views those kinds of links today?

I specialize in Design Systems and noticed that Apple’s and Material’s official UI kit has a very specific structure in the Figma Assets panel. They have dedicated 'Example' headers with horizontal dividers that don't seem to follow a standard Figma featureWhenever I try to organize my own DS, Figma just defaults to alphabetical order and I can’t figure out how to insert that clean line dividers between sections. Does anyone know the specific naming convention or structural trick to force a custom sort order and add these visual breaks? 

Hi, Reposting my Q from the community forum as I haven’t gotten a response there and it may have been posted in the wrong forum in the first place. I look after a CodeGen plugin, which my designer colleagues use and they have recently started investigating how to integrate Slots into their designs. Hence, I was looking into adding support to our plugin, but am having trouble parsing SlotNode types - as in the type is altogether not present from the plugin-typings? Is this expected, because it’s still in beta? Or have I missed to update something obvious - apologies if I have!The Figma app is showing the type if I log it to the console, I just can’t add any code to manipulate it.I am on v1.123.0 of the plugin typings.Thanks,Lachezar

Hello! I have an active educational plan and I added my colleague to the file; he also has a verified educational email. When I click edit, a message appears saying that the plan will be upgraded. I would like to know if we can edit the same Edu file without charges, or will it generate any?Taking advantage of the question... I didn't find any settings to add or move my credit card.

How to Copy/Paste or Duplicate Local Variables in Figma in Windows Desktop app?

Hey can someone explain me how I can make the form submission actually sends out forms to services like getform or formspree? It never sends any submissions.Ive created the website via figma make.I asked the AI to make this form actually submit and didnt work. I used GPT to help me, but no. This might have messed up the code too. So Im rly lost and am not savvy in these areas at all.  

Hello! I have submitted Figma plugin for the review, but I did not get any confirmation email or any communication it went through. I saw in the docs it says 5-10 days, but I am not sure if it got received correctly?Also, another question, I just found out there is another plugin that is called Framify (which was published a month ago), would that be a good reason to deny my plugin, because it’s also called same name? I wonder if I would have to redo everything, or how would people be able to differentiate? Any recommendations, suggestions?  Here are the screens for my plugin. 

  Trying to simplify the design system library, we decided to replace variants (*not variables) with Modes.This would significantly reduce the size of our design library because instead of having buttons with thousands of variants, now we would only have the default button and the Modes would replace states such as Hover, Active, Focus, Disabled and so on.  The issue now is while prototyping! When one single element triggers an interaction (this interaction was added to the child NOT the main component) ALL the elements within that wireframe will change. Before hovering:While hovering: And as you can see in the image below, only the first button has an interaction applied. Is there any way to prevent this content awareness cascading to all the elements and only apply it to that one specific element?

I’m trying to copy and paste from Adobe Illustrator to Figma without the text being converted into outlines. The content is a mixture of vector graphics and editable text. Due to the amount of text, the Figma prototype I’m working on becomes jerky and slow. This would not be a problem if the text existed as editable text.I have tried 2 plugins to resolve it. Convertify was useless and converted all of the text to outlines. Illustrator Importer was better, managing to import the text as editable, but it added anomalies such as incorrect font sizes, weights, alignment, etc.Manually recreating the text in Figma would take far too long and I just don’t consider it to be a viable solution. This is unworkable due to the layout of the text, rather than the amount of text.Does anyone know of a way to import from Illustrator with the text remaining editable (not converted to outlines)?–I miss Adobe XD, which didn’t have any of these problems. It imported text as editable text and the prototype

I am writing to request a full refund for a recent subscription charge of $27 that occurred on 2026-03-08. This charge was entirely unexpected as I no longer have a need for the service and had intended to cancel the subscription prior to the renewal date. Unfortunately, I overlooked the cancellation process, and the subscription was automatically renewed. Since the charge, I have not used any of the paid features. I’ve made a web-app with figma make, and was happy to see that Push to Github was an option, but I’m having issues with this feature. Whenever I made a change to code, either by ai or manual, I saw that Github didn’t recieve the updated code. I investigated som more and found out that Figma don’t understand how files from the project were being pushed.I have a root directory in github, with one folder (/src). Here, all my files from figma make lies (Public etc) What I noticed is that Figma creates two index.html files, two package.json, two vite.config.ts  on push.The original files from Make is in /scr. and another basic version gets put on the Github root.I’ve tried to figure out how to fix or work around this, but I cannot figure it out. I’ve tried moving the correct versions to Github root, but to no help. And to make it worse, they get overwritten with every push. Must be some more files not being pushed to the right location.Basically the Github Push feature is broken for me. Hop

I’d really appreciate some help here, can’t get mobile prototyping to work in the way I’d expect. I am prototyping an app with a bottom anchored toolbar. As such, “Fit” type settings are critical to avoid users from missing these buttons. However, any combination of settings I try in prototyping (Fit, fill, presentation, different preset phone frames) do not actually fit my prototype within phones of varying sizes. Here’s an image of what I’d expect would happen. I’d expect a fixed ratio and I’d get black bars on the sides. This is pretty much how desktop prototypes show - they work on any screen size because the frame is fixed and fits to any window size, with black bars added as needed. Any help is really appreciated here. I don’t get how mobile prototypes could not support “Fit” in the way I’m describing, as that’d make testing anything with bottom-anchored toolbars/buttons much more unreliable based on phone size. Thanks for any input!

I have created full function POS software in Figma Make. I am very impressed with capability. However last few weeks this App is not being build (No UI is rendered). Any effort to reach the support has not been of any help. Yes, I can still create new App which tells me my configuration etc are fine.   Is anyone else facing similar kind of problem? 

I am working in a file that was created by another designer. I am trying to add a background pill to a text grid and I can’t get the pill to go behind the text. From the file menu I can see that all of the components previously created are dragged from the component library so they are all purple. I’ve tried several options, but not having success. Nothing is locked.

Auto-filling slot containersIs there a way for an instance added to a slot to automatically fill the slot container? For example, when I insert a row component into the slot, it keeps its fixed width instead of expanding to fill the slot.Selecting a preferred instance variantWhen setting a preferred instance for a slot, it seems like I can only select the base component—not a specific variant. Is there currently a way to choose a specific variant as the preferred instance?The only workaround I can think of is breaking that variant out into its own component, but that feels like it defeats the purpose of variants.Am I missing something in how slots are intended to work, or are these current limitations?
