As for your question about sharing: if you're hoping to share a preview of the site without giving access to the entire file, that’s currently a feature request.
That said, it’s a totally understandable one — and if this functionality is important for your workflow, we’d really encourage you to submit the idea in our Share Your Thoughts category.
Our product team regularly reviews suggestions there, so it’s a great way to share feedback directly.

And just to note: previewing a Figma site currently requires view or edit access to the file. More on that here: Preview a webpage or site

this is really dissapointing. i was prompted from the UI to use figmasite. And the wording around prototyping implied it can share it as a prototype for people to use without having any access. i spent 3 hours building the design i cant share it (in the way i want) and the published site is unusable vs the preview. 

the preview works perfectly as intended while the figma site does not. im having to re-do this all in a normal design file. i have submitted a request as troubleshooting article made no difference
