I am trying to connect to MCP dev server to Claude from the Desktop app, and I just don’t see the option anywhere. I looked all over in Preferences, and I tried clicking Shift + D in my project to toggle the interface, and nothing happens. I’m not seeing the toolbar at the bottom either.

I have a full seat in this project, so I’m not sure what’s going on. I updated to the latest server, and even tried the beta app just in case. Any thoughts?

Easy to get confused here, there's actually nothing to configure inside Figma itself. The way it works is that Figma desktop runs the server automatically in the background, and all your setup lives on the AI tool side in Claude Code or Cursor. If you're looking for an MCP panel inside Figma, it doesn't exist. Two things to check first: are you using the Figma desktop app and not the browser version, and does your Figma plan have Dev Mode on? If both are true the server is already running and you just need to point Claude Code at it. Does that help clarify where the config actually lives?
