I’m interested to know if embedding in an iframe can work. Has anyone tried embedding in a figma site url in a website environment such as wordpress/episerver or magnolia? If it does has anyone any examples or advice? Thanks you so much. : )

Hi, I hope there is a solution to my problem with the new figma site file. I have done many animations there for my prototypes and want to use them in my portfolio in Behance. The only way I know I can link a figma prototype in Behance is by embedding it with an iframe. I know how to do that from a normal figma design file (and it does display correctly) but I can’t seem to find how to do it from a figma site file. If I copy the embed code from a figma site file, the iframe displays the entire project, not only the prototype.I really don’t want to redo all the animations the old fashioned way in a figma design file because this takes way more time and it’s redundant.Can someone please save me? Is there a way not to animate this all over again?

Is there any way to get a progress check on how far along in the process it is?I assume with AI now the review process may be extended, but wondering if there’s any reasonable way for Figma to communicate progress.My plugin does not make any external calls (other than Google Fonts), and doesn’t store anything locally.

Hi! I’m struggling figuring out how to optimize some buttons/components with variables.I’m trying to make tags with different sections. Essentially, I need to find a way to have the tag style change based on what tag section its in and if its been selected. I have tags for the following:Culture (red), Food (orange), Adventure(green), and Leisure (blue).They should all have two modes: selected and unselected.Each category has 10 tags. So, for example, culture has:architectureartceremonial siteshistorical museumsmonumentsreligious structuressacred groundswrecks & ruinsviewpoints How do I use variables to change the following: tag contents (text), tag color (both depending on if its a culture, food, adventure, or wellness tag AND if it is/isnt selected). For context, I’m trying to optimize my prototype in figma so that I can then use the React extension and minimize the extra coding I have to do. 

Hello,I am a user of the Figma Enterprise version.To use the Code Connect feature, I created a Figma project, converted it into a library, and published it. However, when I clicked the 'Connect to components code' button to link the components to code, I discovered that a GitHub account belonging to another user was already connected.I understand that in an Enterprise environment, the integration between Figma and a GitHub account can be configured at a team or organizational level by an administrator. I would like to know if the current issue is caused by such a centralized setting or if there is another reason.Could you please let me know if there is a way to change the connection to my intended GitHub account or to disconnect the existing one and set up a new connection?Thank you.

I have a boolean variable to show/hide a layer, but I can’t assign it to the layer. I swear the icon for it used to be in this panel. I am going crazy.

How in God’s name do you change the angle of a gradient when selecting multiple layers of text?amazing that this $10b company hasn’t made this obvious/easyThe “rotate gradient” button does exactly nothing.  

I have some buttons that have a hover effect and in the prototype there is slight movement of the content. I checked the position of the content to be the same in both instances (default and hovered) in regards to the margins and in between items I applied a “while hovering” interaction with instant animation This also seems to happen in between separate screens of a prototype for text in a header component that doesn’t have animation applied or any other interaction. Anyone has any idea?

My goal is to enable both designers and non-designers to generate consistent UI screens using our unique Design System through AI.While the generation process is impressive, we often need to move the results into a Figma Design file for detailed iterations and final hand-offs.Here is my core question: When we "Send to Design File," is there a way to ensure the generated components and tokens remain actively linked to our original Library (Design System file)?For our workflow, it’s crucial that: Non-designers can generate layouts that stay on-brand. Designers can take over those files without losing the connection to the main library (to avoid manual re-linking or detaching). Is there a specific way to configure the Kit or the export process to keep these library instances "live"? Situation:I was using an education account in Figma. I used all my credits in Figma Make, so I created a professional account. Now I’m trying to copy and paste the same frame into Figma Make, but I keep getting an error saying:“The image is too large. Please reduce the number of images or use smaller image sizes.” Question:What should I do to fix this?

Hey ya’ll, working on this project and ran into this issue where I have 3 separate components that each have two variants with smart animate in order to make them spin, which I then copied into another component set to smart animate those 3 animated components to pop up behind an element as they spin. When I preview this, it just jumps to the last variable with no animation.The things I’ve checked/tried are:Memory usage is only 2% As far as I can see, all my layers are in the same order and the names are the same in each component I’ve originally set the parent frame to auto layout and fixed hight and width, which caused me to put everything else in more nested frames to keep the elements overlapping like I wanted, but once reading that sometimes too many nested components can mess with smart animate, I have taken off auto layout for the parent but kept the fixed hight and width I’ve tried setting the after delay for longer but it changes nothing I’ve also tried not combining component

Hi all,I’m running into an issue with Smart Animate that seems to be a recent regression. I’ve used Smart Animate successfully across multiple components in my file, and everything was working fine in Present mode until this past week.Now, some animations that used to work perfectly are either:• Not playing at all, or• Playing incorrectly (e.g. jumpy, incomplete, or skipping interpolation)Here’s what I’ve found through troubleshooting:• The animations still work when I isolate the animated component and test it on its own.• They break only when nested inside more complex parent components (which contain other nested instances).• Detaching the parent instance or simplifying the nesting restores the expected animation behaviour.• Clearing Figma’s cache and restarting the app had no effect.• I haven’t changed anything in the component structure that would explain this — it genuinely seems to have broken out of the blue.This leads me to suspect either:• A recent Figma update changed how Sm

I'm one of the admins in my company and i’m leaving soon, how do I transfer all projects i’m the owner of automatically to another admin? I have hundreds of projects I own and can’t go back so many years to individually transfer ownership one by one. Is their a way to simply say “all the projects under my ownership are now moved to X”?

I have dozens of ‘modified’ existing components in a design library that are in various states of progress. When I went to publish just two of them, I didn’t realize they were all selected - I published the entire library. I worry that if people accept the updates to these unfinished components they may break.Can I undo this?

hi wanted to increase our api rate limits we are currently using a PAT. 

I have about 6 components, all with roughly 7 instances each. In the image, the left column shows you the component/content items. The right gives you access to its image/video and all of it’s info.. pages and pages of info. I simply want to use the left menu to have the user click the component they’d like to view, and the area with the green box would display the default instances of that component. What am I missing? I’ve tried setting variable modes, setting variable..I’m trying to clean up a very old file that used a massive set of instances and pages to create this prototype. The prototype functionality seriously looks like spaghetti thrown on a wall.  I’ve tried variables and variants - a zillion experiments that have failed. If they were all instances of one component, easy-peazy but this has me stumped for some reason. Thankfully it’s Friday!How would you fine people go about achieving this?

I'm new to prototyping, so I'm sorry if this is a dumb question with a simple solution. I'm trying to animate a button, and I made the button as a component, and a variant for the hover state.It's a little hard to explain the issue, but I hope it's understandable. The issue I'm having is that, when you hover over it, the variant "moves" to the bottom right when you hover over the button, and I would like to make it look like it's expanding from the center.What it looks like right now:How I want it to move like (makes it look like it's expanding from the center):But right now, it looks like it's doing this:Again, I'm sorry if this is a dumb question... but I hope someone can help me.

Hey Figma team and community wave,I wanted to ask if anyone here has found a reliable way to monitor AI credit usage within Figma Make. Our team has started using Make quite heavily on the Enterprise plan, and while we know each full seat currently gets 4,250 credits per month, we haven’t been able to find any analytics or reporting within the admin interface.A few specific things I’m wondering: Is there any current workaround or API access to view usage across the organisation? Have any Enterprise teams received usage summaries or reports directly from Figma Support? Does anyone have early insight or indicative pricing for when Figma starts allowing additional AI credit purchases (mentioned for 2026)? I reached out to Figma Support and was told that there isn’t a way to track usage yet, and that credit overages aren’t enforced for full seats at the moment. I’d still love to hear how others are handling budget forecasting and usage visibility until more tools are released.Thanks in

My org is considering purchasing additional AI credits to pilot in a pay-as-you-go purchase. We have multiple cost centers in the org and need a way to create separate pools of credits for each cost center to manage. Is there a way to do that in the admin controls, maybe by user group? Having all additional AI credits in a company-wide pool doesn’t allow us to manage who and how much they can use.I do see how to restrict individual users from accessing the pool (in help center doc but not in my admin panel yet), but I don’t see a way to set a ceiling for how many credits an individual can use from the extra pool. Is that possible? 

When I changed my password, it didn't automatically log out of the account, the old password was still available, and when I logged in with the new password, it showed me a password error and told me after a few times that You've made too many recent attempts. Please tryagain later.

Are bulk actions supported (delete, move, export files)? Can admins access or manage personal drafts, especially from deactivated users? What is the recommended process for transferring files during user offboarding? Is there a way to centrally review permissions (e.g. “Everyone can edit”)? Can we get an overview of guest users and their access? Does the API support reporting or automation for cleanup tasks?Any best practices for large-scale organization cleanup would also be appreciated.

I’m missing Figma Sans VF, Mono VF and Whyte. How do I install those?I’m new to figma slides. Just exploring the “How to use Figma Slides” template produced by Figma and I’m trying to follow along. I get to the text editing portion and I can’t edit any of the type. It says I need to swap typefaces. I can’t edit text unless I swap fonts because I’m missing the used fonts. If I change the font, I can edit. I’d like to correct this issue and have figma’s default fonts installed, however, I can’t seem to locate them or any mention of them on the Figma help, learn, or community support sites. Why wouldn’t they be installed with the desktop application, and how do I install them?Software:Figma Desktop App v126.1.2Windows 11
