Absolute Position icon seems to be shifted someplace else on updated figma 2026, please help where can I add this property from to my elements inside autolayout in figma?

Hey, ​@ishhhhhh! Thanks for your post - I can definitely appreciate the confusion when something within an interface changes or moves.

 

You’re looking to absolute position a child layer of a parent with auto-layout enabled, right? This option is now called Ignore auto layout and can be accomplished in two ways:

  • Select a child of an auto layout frame, and click Ignore auto layout in the right sidebar (this icon is directly to the right of the Position header in the sidebar).
  • Drag an object into an auto layout frame while pressing:
    • Mac: ⌃ Control
    • Windows: S
