Moreover the “Memory Usage” issue has been a regular thing… the whole team has been complaining about this… Figma Desktop App version 124.2.9** Is this the same with others too? Trying too see if its an known issue…

Hello Community, i am facing issue when i try to mask an image its show a green border. I have tried almost everything even Reinstall the Figma but still the issue no yet resolve. Hi, I’m trying to create a component through a plugin that has four variants, and each variant includes a boolean property. Couldn’t really find something?! For fun, I tried giving the task to ChatGPT o1. Beside some “code” it also wrote: Note: In Figma’s newer component properties system, you can directly attach a boolean property to a single variant (so that you don’t need separate variants for icon on/off). However, the Plugin API (as of now) typically requires you to create multiple variant nodes if you want a boolean property to appear in the properties panel. Is this correct?

I’ve had a strange issue with our team library for the last couple of days. I’m getting no help from the error messages, and I can’t find any fixes in other topics. I can’t publish any changes to the library at all. There don’t appear to be any errors with the components. The publish pop-up is also showing 60 changes when I have only made a couple changes to existing components. Hitting publish with any of the components selected shows a red error notification: “Unable to publish X changes to the Team Library”. Meanwhile, other files using the library are showing that there are some updates, but they are for other components that haven’t been changed, and the timestamps for the changes don’t make any sense. They are showing lots of different changes at various times in the last 2 days, while I have been unable to publish. The list of components with updates doesn’t include any of the ones I’ve changed recently. Accepting these updates doesn’t apply any changes to any of the components

I have a ‘text’ component (title, paragraphs & cta) which is nested into a module component (text and image), the module component has left/right variants and then a vertical variant for desktop/tablet. I then have a ‘section’ component with slots. The module component can be instance swapped into the section, and the variant of the module can be changed via responsive variables. The problem is the various property settings on the text component do not carry through the variant changes (some of the time, oddly), and when changed via variable access to those properties is entirely removed (they just aren’t accessible/visible at all). It’s a bit complex to try and explain. I did record a video, but the 8mb upload limit doesn’t really work for videos! Any help appreciated as I would like to base the system for the design around a modular/responsive variable approach.

It somehow knows it was launched from a program. And, since I am using this program to automate some interactions with linkedin, this information is passed along to linkedin which prompts me that it requires I login. This creates a cascading seriies of events that are difficult to automate including using my cell as a means of verification. centering multiple elements inside each frame separately i think it’s saving time but i didn’t find such behavior on Figma for instance i have a main container inside desktop frame and i changed the size of it and i want to center that new width to the middle of the frame i have to go one by one if i select all they will collapse inside each other the only solution i know is auto layout but it’s not applicable if working on a new design

Imagine want to move your Figma design file across team projects but unable to find the match of the file. The reason is that you need to type the team project name perfectly to find it. That’s what I found with Figma “move file” button. Can you at least fix your SQL query and change it from and add LIKE = “%SEARCH%” so I can search in between the text.

Can you please fix scrolling? One tick of the scrollwheel should always scroll the same distance. It currently doesn’t. Sometimes it goes way farther, causing me to overcompensate and look like a noob.

I am looking at my heavily-styled design system and thinking through my text styles. I have the general “Body/Regular/XL/Light” type of structure. BUT…what I am finding is that I have "four weights for each; Roman, Italic, Underline, and Strikethrough. Today it dawned on me that I do not have “Underline Italic.” Who does that??? Hi, I created a file yesterday and uploaded to Figma community and after a couple of hours it was deleted. How long does it take to review? Is there a possibility that after review it would be deleted?

I use fig jam for online tutoring and remote AP courses for homeschool students. I’m planning to transition to Fig Jam from Jam Board for next Academic Year and I’ve been testing it this semester. I’m concerned about access issues I’ve been having so please help me understand if I am doing something wrong or if there is something wrong with the application itself. Three times it has happened I share a fig jam with a student and they eventually can’t edit the board, even when I set the board to open session. Twice this occurred after 7 days so I assume the student didn’t set up an account. But they should still be able to access the board in an open sessions, correct? The third time was a student on his school email who had set up an account. Everything worked for about 2-3 weeks and then suddenly he could only see the boards I created in view only mode.
