Variable collection not showing - Help please 🙏

Hi there,

I’m trying to use a toggle to be able to open and close a panel while clicking on a different button (different component)

So I created a collection of boolean variables to do that, with the “Hide for publishing” option unticked :
 

But I cannot for the life of me associate it with my target panel like I think I used before by finding it in the appearance option? Like, when I try to set the variable, I cannot even find my variables : 
 

Would anyone be able to help? Thanks a lot in advance and sorry for the bad english 🙏🙏🙏
