I have a notice on my Figma design desktop that says I must update to the lates version by Augus 13 (2025). I am in a corporate environment and my machine is locked down I need to put a request into IT for them to update the Version that have in thier software centre. I want to ensure they update to the lates version what is it? PS when you click the Release notes item on the file menu it takes you to https://releases.figma.com/ But the link displays 404 error This releases.figma.com page can’t be found No webpage was found for the web address: https://releases.figma.com/
In UI2, when you needed to add a property to a text component there was a button for it just next to a text field, so you when you use variants the text will be easy to change.For some reason someone thought that putting that function under “Apply variables” button (with variant icon) and adding extra steps to access this function will be SO user friendly and so much better. As a software for UX designers, have you even tested it on various UX designers?When you read the amount of complains for new UI update, maybe it’s something you should consider to make your customers satisfy? At least bring back the option to bring back the old UI!
I am trying to change my account to a student account after switching from teacher to a student in an App Development bootcamp. I am having trouble finding a way to switch. When I try to verify, it tells me I am already verified when I click “Get verified”.
I am struggling with a modal with backdrop component that I am trying to make. The idea is that I have a component with auto frame set. Inside is an instance of a modal component. The modal component is set to auto layout and consists of 3 frames; a header, body, and footer. Within the body, I have an instance of a component called “slot” that is 5px tall. When I create an instance of the modal with backdrop component, and swap out the “slot” component with another one, the content of that new component gets cut off. Instead, I want the modal component to grow to fit the content. Below, I have pictured the component (not the instance but you get the idea). In the below component, I know I can just drag the modal taller but in the instance I can’t do that. How would I accomplish my task?
This is just a bug report (if this belongs somewhere else happy to submit this there) The Mobile Product Review Slides template uses Whyte as the title font but that’s unavailable for most users. I’ve been using IBM Plex Serif as a replacement, but anyway, worth changing so users don’t run into this bug in the future.

Hello Brains Trust, I am stuck. I am trying to get a navigation bar's scroll position to stay at the top of a frame (a prototype website) as one scrolls down. I want the nav bar to be visible at all times, even when scrolled all the way to the bottom of the page - but it just won't. I have done every step recommended: Select the navigation bar instance in the Home frame. In the Prototype tab, select Sticky from the Position menu. Open the Auto layout settings, and make sure Canvas stacking is set to First on top. It is at the highest layer order within the frame It is fully inside the frame, with all appropriate properties enabled I have tried every configuration of ‘Overflow Behaviour’ and nothing works (none, horizontal, vertical, both directs etc.) Yes, it is in a frame, not a group. If I disable auto layout, the problem persists. I have applied the ‘First on top’ to the Main component. On one frame is kinda half works but flickers over and under layers. Hello everyone Since the update for the Figma site came out, I've been wondering how to run a carousel, whether based on an image or text. The Figma site doesn't support on drag. What solutions have you been providing for this? I have prototyped many complex carousels where each slide change causes radical changes to the page, something that excites me a lot when browsing, now how do I bring this to the Figma website?
I saw this topic but seems the most recent is still a year old. I tried everything mentioned yet when I’m in design mode and show presentation then copy the link and try it ina browser I;m not logged into, I sitll see the force account gate. I tried this on both desktop app and browser. No dice. Please advise.
