Yesterday, I attempted to apply for the student plan on the website. However, upon submitting the verification form, I received an error message stating, “Verification Limit Exceeded.” I have not previously completed the verification process, so I’m unsure why this issue occurred. I would appreciate your guidance on how to proceed or reset the verification attempt so I can complete my application successfully. [This post was merged from “Verification Limit Exceeded For First Time Registering Student Plan” into “Verification Exceeded Limit for Student Plan” by a moderator on 08-Oct-2025.]
I would love a back/forward button similar to Safari or Chrome where I can navigate through folders and files on the home page.
One burning gripe I’ve always had about Figma is how small the UI elements are on the page, especially when running a second monitor. At the resolution I’m running, all other apps are still legible without scooting closer to the screen. Figma, please help folks out by allowing me to up-scale type size of your native UI so that I can actually read what’s there without destroying my back and neck. Thanks.
TBH quite disappointing. I purchased a Pro plan solely because of the integrated MCP server, only for it to not work on Cursor (even with all the recommended solutions) and me having to implement alternatives that would have worked on the Free plan. [This post was split from the original thread titled “Figma MCP not working” and retitled “Question: How to set up Figma MCP Server on Cursor?” on Oct 8, 2025.]
Hello, I am a full-time faculty member at one of the global campuses of a well-known U.S.-based university. Our campus is registered as a local higher education institution in my country and is listed as such in the verification process. I am listed as a faculty member both on the local campus page and on the U.S. university’s website. However, after submitting the required documentation to SheerID, I received a message that my document was in a foreign language and would require additional processing time (from half an hour up to two days). This timeframe has passed, yet I have not received any feedback from SheerID, and I still appear as unverified inside Figma. When I try to re-submit, I encounter a limit reached notification. A colleague of mine completed the verification process without any issues. I am already well into the semester, teaching two courses that rely heavily on Figma, so maintaining uninterrupted access is crucial. Needless to say, the user experience of this re-ver
I noticed that Figma became slow after updating my M3 MB Air to Tahoe. It’s very laggy and noticeable when screen sharing during a Google Meet call.
Hey! I created transparent frame with glass effect applied but it disapears during an export. I tried different export plugins and formats but still glass effect is not presented as is on the exported file. If background is solid everything works perfectly. Is there any way to export it with transparency? The frame
I set a textbox to a font and then change the weight. It either won’t apply the new weight or will jump to the previous textbox. It’s crazy buggy. Never had Figma be so buggy.
Hello, i created i section in my figjam. I shared it via link but the flipcards a placed in the section do not interact. If I open the content within my own browser under my account I can flipp them and the open cards are showing for others who got the link, but they are unable to flip the cards.
Hello, I am trying to run through the MCP OAuth protocol to register a client on the Figma remote MCP server, running into an issue when calling the registration endpoint. After discovering the registration endpoint via the /.well_known/oauth-authorization-server call, I call the registration endpoint via: curl -sS -v -X POST "$REG_ENDPOINT" -H "Content-Type: application/json" -d '{ "redirect_uris": ["http://127.0.0.1:53195/callback"], "grant_types": ["authorization_code","refresh_token"], "response_types": ["code"], "token_endpoint_auth_method": "none" }' I get back from this a “Forbidden” response and without this response I can’t continue the OAuth protocol. Does client registration have limitations to prevent it from working on different domains and url callbacks at the moment? I am doing this in a context outside of Claude, Cursor, etc..
When are Figma going to add variables for custom cubic-bezier and durations? We have a design system with a custom library and it’s a real pain adding these to prototypes manually and leads to a bunch of inconsistencies.
Recently, tap-to-click interactions have been broken in FigJam for me. I first noticed it 4 weeks ago and again it re-emerged this week. Observation: tap-to-click is not working. I have to use the button of my trackpad to select something. Troubleshooting: I’ve confirmed tap-to-click is working in other apps on my computer I’ve quit and re-opened the Figma desktop app I’ve toggled all settings and see no change Has anyone else noticed this? It’s leading me to explore other whitebaord options that support my interaction patterns
Hello Figma Community, I’m an admin managing a design education program, and I’d like to verify my students for Figma’s Education or Professional access. I want to ensure they receive the proper benefits and workspace permissions under our institution’s account. Could someone please guide me through: The process for verifying student accounts under an institutional domain or admin panel. Whether verification needs to be done individually or can be approved in bulk. Any specific documentation or eligibility criteria required from the admin’s side. I want to streamline onboarding so students can easily collaborate within the professional workspace without manual intervention for each request. Appreciate any insights or official documentation links that could help clarify this process. Thank you, Usama Aslam Admin | UI/UX Design Instructor
