Hi everyone,

I use Figma on the web, my macOS version is Sequoia 15.4.1. I have installed the Figma Agent and it said I can use local fonts on the web, but this is not working. I tried everything from clearing cache, restarting computer, refreshing page but Figma still doesn’t show the fonts under “Installed by You”. I also have the latest google chrome version. I can’t see the fonts in an existing Figma project and also not if I create a new file. Other programs on my mac like Adobe Illustrator show all fonts without an issue.

Any solutions? Thank You!

I’m having the same issue and can’t troubleshoot, no matter how many times I reinstall the font and the Font Helper. Following along to see if anyone has a workaround here.

Hey All, sorry for the trouble!

@Julija4 - When was this last working as expected for you? Did you recently update your macOS?

@Farah8911 - What OS are you using? And when was this last working as expected?

@dvaliao  Yes, I had to reset my Mac 2 days ago and therefore to redownload the fonts and the Figma Agent. The last time this was working was before the reset and if I am not mistaken the Figma Agent I previously had installed was called “Figma Font Helper”.

Thanks for the context, @Julija4

Did you add the fonts before or after re-installing the Figma Font Helper?

After installing it, it best to then reinstall your fonts then make sure to restart your computer or at the very least reload any open files or tabs in your browser — this refresh should trigger Figma to detect the new fonts.

@dvaliao Previously, I did it in the same order as written here: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039956894-Add-a-font-to-Figma-Design

Now I reinstalled the fonts and restarted and reloaded everything–as you recommended, but it is still not working. Maybe the Figma Agent File is broken? There is no indication of an installation process, just an immediate success message. I also can’t find the Figma Agent in my Applications folder after installing. Could you provide a link to the installation file? Maybe mine is outdated...

I’m on a Mac using Safari, and I am having the same issue. I’ve gone through the steps multiple times for the Font Agent Mac installer. Although I get a success message, there is no Font Agent app in my applications folder.

No matter what I do, I can’t get the custom fonts to show up on the Web version of Figma.

Hello?

@dvaliao

Could you provide a link to the installation file?

Thank You! But didn’t work either😩

[…] but Figma still doesn’t show the fonts under “Installed by You”.

Are installed fonts listed under "All fonts" in the Figma font picker?

Unfortunately not.

Hey All, sorry for the delayed reply!

Can you confirm that the fonts you’ve installed are also validated?

Validated ✅ I also restarted the mac. The issue remains.

Thanks for confirming, @Julija4

We’ve created ticket #1342061 on your behalf to have our support team take a deeper dive into this issue. Someone will review and be in touch soon.

Thank You! Just letting you know, that I just installed the Figma desktop version and the fonts are showing. So they are only not showing in the web version.

Noted - thanks, @Julija4

This bug definitely seems to be only occurring for users when using the browser; I’ll note the same on your ticket.

Glad to hear you can see your fonts on the desktop app though. Feel free to use the desktop app to access you fonts as expected, while we have support take a closer look.

I am having this same issue. Following this thread in hopes of an update.

As for today, all of my fonts are finally showing on the Figma web version. It was probably a bug on Figmas side and got fixed by the support team after I answered their email. But I don’t know how they fixed it. Maybe someone from support can elaborate on what the issue was and how other users can fix it too.

I have also this issue in Figma web app since yesterday. All my local fonts can’t be read.

Same issue still happening here using Figma web app. All my local fonts can’t be read. Using Mac with Sequoia 15.4.1.

Me too!

Hey All,  sorry to hear you’re still having this issue!

It doesn’t look like our team made any new changes on the backend, so this may differ person to person depending on the font(s). If you’ve already tried the suggestions above, please reach out to our support team directly so they can take a closer look at what’s happening for you: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

I am having this sane issue plus I am lagging so bad. I am on i9 iMac.

I am not sure what’s happing anymore. I fixed it by reinstalling the font from CC. Came back to update only to realize I had 3 duplicates. Went to double check, the font is missing in Font Book. Plus I am lagging. I’m ready for generative MSDOS.
