Drag & drop from preview to export an image

lucpotagemyscript

I would like to be able to drag and drop the export preview and move the dragged asset directly to my Downloads folder in the dock (macOS) or my knowledge base tool.

It’s easier than open the dialog, choosing the destination, reusing the image from that destination.

I would love this as well, similar to Sketch I can drag the export straight into my Xcode assets which is really easy. That would be a great feature for developers saving us a lot of time 🙂

We can drag that preview direct to anywhere we want. I like to have the same feature on Figma

This idea was shared a few times before but closed because there was no reaction from Figma staff.

So, i’m trying again: We would like to export an image from the preview pane in the ‘export image’ section. Works great in Sketch, and i really miss it in Figma.
