Hey everyone, I’m looking for some input on a Figma prototyping challenge. Specifically, I’d like to know if it’s possible to create two distinct animations for a button: Single click: When clicked once, the digital value changes by one step. Long press: Holding the button down triggers a continuous, automatic increase in the value until the button is released. If you have any insights or suggestions on how to achieve this effect in Figma, please share them!
I’m creating a template in Figma Slides. I deleted the predefined colors and added new ones, but when I click “Remix Template Colors,” the old deleted colors come back (with broken links in the ‘selection colors’ overview). It seems they’re not actually removed. Has anyone else experienced this?
I saw this topic but seems the most recent is still a year old. I tried everything mentioned yet when I’m in design mode and show presentation then copy the link and try it ina browser I;m not logged into, I sitll see the force account gate. I tried this on both desktop app and browser. No dice. Please advise.
Hi, I’m having a problem publishing a noise effect style I’ve created. Once I publish the library, everything else is able to publish aside from the noise effect (its status constantly shows ‘Added’). The error I get is this: Is this a known problem? Anything I can do to get my noise effect to publish? Thanks!

I just updated Figma today, and for some reason. in some frames that I work in I cant Drag select the objects anymore. None of them are locked and I can still click select them one by one.in other frames I can sometimes still drag select. If I rebuild the ‘broke frame’ in a new frame it becomes broken aswell. here is a video of the issue *Edit*There is a Huge Section just above these frames, when I zoom out more, I can select again. when the frame is too close to the section and zoomed in very close. issue happens again When moving the Fram further away from the frame everything works again
Haven’t found exactly this issue posted: I created a new component in my library, but Figma ignores it when publishing. In the design file it’s no different from any other component - and the component in question works as expected within the library file. But no matter how many times I alter it, Figma doesn’t seem to notice that it’s a component, so it doesn’t get published. I’ve even duplicated and renamed it…doesn’t matter. It’s like it doesn’t exist, so it’s not available in any other files using that library.
Is it possible to create my own custom shapes for use as shapes in FigJam? I am drawing complex process flows, and I need to use a few vector grphics (for example, an octagon) which I created with Adobe Illustrator as FigJam ‘shapes’ so that I can annotate them with text and connect them to other shapes with connector lines. I haven’t been able to find instructions on how to do this. Is this doable? If so, please let me know how. Thank you in advance.
I'm trying to figure out how to create those icon cards in FigJam, it looks like the UX has changed. Previously, I could drag an icon and place it inside a card-style component. But now, when I drag an icon onto the canvas, it just shows the icon with text below it - not the styled card I'm aiming for (see example below). I can still copy and paste older icon cards I created before, but I can't seem to change the icon within them anymore. When I try to replace the icon, it just swaps the whole card out for a plain icon instead. Has anyone figured out how to create or edit these icon cards atm? In the design handoff process, we use annotations to communicate changes or emphasize specific specs. However, when the design canvas is large and contains many elements, it's difficult to notice the position or even the existence of annotations. It would be very helpful if, upon clicking the "comment" button, a comment panel appeared on the right side, showing all comments in a list view that can be sorted and filtered. Ideally, clicking on an item in this list would take the user directly to the corresponding location on the canvas. I suggest considering an update that adds a "tab" or similar functionality to the comment panel for better visibility and navigation of annotations.
I’m working in Figma (v125.4.9) and have duplicated both a UI file (UI) and its linked styleguide (SG) to create new versions: UI-V2 and SG-V2. I updated UI-V2 so it links to SG-V2 instead of the original SG. I used the “Swap library” functionality to remap all styles and components from the old library to the new one. I then removed the original styleguide (SG) from the file via Manage Libraries > Remove. Here’s the issue: When I make changes to SG and publish them, those changes still show up as updates in UI-V2, even though: • SG is no longer listed under “Libraries added to this file” • It’s also not listed under “Libraries used in this file” • I successfully swapped all styles to SG-V2 and removed the old one Yet updates from SG continue to appear in UI-V2. Why is this happening? How can I fully disconnect or purge all hidden links to the original styleguide? Any insight or solutions would be appreciated!
