Steps to reproduce: Create an instance of any component. Apply a scale transformation to it. Modify one of its dimensions in the right panel. Observe how the other dimension changes.
Hi there. I prefer the output of Google Imagen 3 model for AI generated images. Every time I generate a new image, I have to change the model. I’d like an option somewhere to set my default model. Cheers
Hello, it would be nice to have the option to insert floating components inside text (like Emojis). Use case would be for signs or infos in complex dashboards. Its a hustle to do this now manually and also set kind of boundingboxes to sync different heighs of text and component. Regards
The base background layer that I have in all of my artboards is a satellite map image that’s part of a library component. It has multiple backgrounds in the component that I can switch between (via visibility toggling). I opened Figma this morning and all of the images within that component have been cut down to a thin horizontal slice of their proper height. I can paste a new image into the component and it’ll properly display that, but the images already in the component have been corrupted. If I copy the component and try to paste it into another file the corruption comes with it. This is occurring only on Desktop, though. If I go to the web the images still appear properly. 🤔 I’m running 125.2.3 on a Mac running 15.4.1.
Please check out Airfig , a new plugin that lets you flow content from Airtable into Figma and quickly and easily create tables or tiled layouts of cards, each displaying a different record from your Airtable. As a UX designers, we spend way too much time inventing placeholder content, and then then adding and updating the actual content as it gets written and edited, so Airfig is the solution for that. Airfig lets your content team develop the content in Airtable, and then you can add it to your Figma layouts, and update it as it’s edited, with a few clicks. We have [a great playground] (Airfig | Figma Community ) - click Try it out - with linked Airtable files so you can easily give Airfig a test drive, and there’s also also some tutorials and FAQs . We hope you find Airfig useful, and would welcome any comments or suggestions you may have.
Since Figma made changes to the UI panel and how autolayout is displayed, I can’t figure out how to change the layer stacking order, which is resulting in my tooltips appearing beneath the text below. Anyone know how to find the settings to change this ordering?
I just created a Figma Make login workflow that works well and want to export all of the React code that was created by the app. When I switch from Preview to Code, I can see the perfectly structured code and and files but no option to download anything. When I ask the Figma AI how to download the files, it suggests copy and paste of each file content and recreating locally. This is crazy as there are associated ui and component folders with 100’s of files in them. I am completely lost. Any help greatly appreciated! You can view the project here: https://www.figma.com/make/rpI3wqPgj39LD5Pzezwy68/iPhone-Login-Page-with-Pastel-Colors?node-id=0-1&t=yzDJjeQgWzB43GGG-1&code-node-id=7-46 Thanks, Steve
I’m followingg the beginner tutorial. I’m on chapter 14. The converting of ONE LINE OF TEXT to a frame selection freezes everything and forces me to restart, then I do the same 1000 times and still not working. It’s a bug!
hey guys i just started learning figma and now i am having problem in running my first figma prototype
How do I remove the LGBTQ themed loading screen or restore the default? I find it intrusive and don't want it forced on my interface while working.
The title just about summarizes my issue. Developers until recently had access to ruler measurements and annotations with their Dev Mode seats. Recently, these tools were stripped from them. I don’t understand why only designers can measure distances or leave annotations, so long as they are not editing files, why should Devs be unable to annotate or inspect files using the tools Figma designed for Devs to inspect files? Good design practice in Figma often requires us to build things differently than they would be built with actual HTML/CSS. with Autolayout in mind, it’s better to determine the space between objects rather than apply padding to the top of Divs as many devs would do. However, when a dev wants to measure the total space between elements, they should be able to use rulers to make the measurement THEY need and not the one Figma decided they should have. Why were these tools stripped from Developers? We’re already on an Organization plan, paying quite a lot of money. They w
When I try to publish changes, I get this error, I couldn't find any tutorials on how to fix it
It says that we can do everything that a professional account can do with a student account, but I cannot use the Figma Make app.
