Hey Team, I have been trying to link a sub-domain to my Figma Sites for a while and it’s not happening. I have a main domain ‘www.imtiyazahmed.com’ and I created a sub-domain from it : ‘kittu.imtiyazahmed.com’ I followed the proper procedure to add the DNS Records, name and values. I buy and maintain my domains in GoDaddy site. Once I added this sub-domain to Figma Site, it told me that it might take upto 24-48 hours for the changes to go live. I waited for 48 hours, there was no update. Then I disconnected the domain, deleted the records and recreated the subdomain and DNS Records. I added it to Figma site again and waited for 48 hours and yet there was no update. It kept showing me that ‘it will take more time’ Kindly help me out. I have attached the images for your reference. Hi, I’m quite new to Figma and i don’t know what to do. Previously this had never happened. How can I fix it? I need that animation as soon as possible, since my deadline is close. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I’ve been trying to recreate a commercial tartan pattern for myself trough Figma, and though it looks almost okay, the spacing in between the horizontal lines below (created by a clipping layer) always seems to be uneven. The solid squares in the center look almost rectangular due to the clipping mask, the white squares in the corner end up being actually rectangular, despite all white borders being equally wide, and the spacing in the bottom white stripes are closer together in the middle. I know it must be caused by either ratios or my clipping layer, but I’m not sure which math is required to make a perfect square tile. Frame/tile size: 2250 px Purple stripe: 306.8 px wide White stripe: 41.11 px wide The entire pattern is created by making all vertical stripes first, then duplicating that layer and rotating it by 90 degrees, and then appying the striped clipping mask in between the vertical and horizontal layers The reason I’m using Figma is because I want to use a vector-based

I need a single line of text to fit within a container without wrapping, breaking the boundary, or truncating. I need the text to get smaller when it gets too long to fit, either by reducing font size or overall scale. The text is dynamic, so I can’t reliably tell how long it will be to pick an ideal font size. Things I’ve tried: Standard left and right with top and bottom constraints, but if the text becomes too long, it wraps and breaks the boundary or truncates. Using text auto width with scale constraints, but the text just grows outside the boundary. Using text auto width then wrapping it with an auto layout, thinking the layout could hug the text and use scale constraints to get smaller, but hug resizing and scale constraints are mutually exclusive. Is there any way to do this dynamically?

Hi, facing preview issue in figma sites. Below is the preview screenshot which is totally different from what I created. Logo on top is broken, it was originally positioned on the left, and fonts are not appearing with the same properties as used in design.

Hi team, I’ve began using Figma Sites this week and having a consistent issue of my previews not loading at all, either on the desktop app or on Browser. This is persistent and ONLY affecting Sites - I am having no issues with previews in Make, etc. I have Reset and Restarted Figma, uninstalled and redownloaded the app too, to no avail. Is this a common issue or is there something specific going wrong here?

My original post Some of my icons are displaying unexpected holes in circular areas where there shouldn't be any (see attached images). The issue seems to occur when strokes overlap and create negative space, possibly due to how the stroke is being rendered or interpreted. I'm aiming to keep everything within a single vector and maintain consistent stroke width throughout. Expected Behavior: Icons should render as solid shapes with no gaps or holes, as shown in the final image. Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Hey Figma Heads! I’ve noticed that some of my icons have holes in the circles where they’re not supposed to (e.g., in images). Does anyone know how to fix this issue while keeping everything in a single vector and maintaining a consistent stroke size? It seems like the problem might be caused by the stroke breaking into negative space when overlapping itself. The last image shows what it’s supposed to look like. I had an account that used an old email address and I worked on a number of really important projects in it. That email no longer exists and I cannot set up email forwarding for it, so I can’t reset my password or get access to those projects. I really need access to those projects for portfolio work, and am not sure how to recover the account. Is it possible to change the email associated with that account or somehow change the password? I am not sure how to proceed.

Hello! 🤠 I was very excited to see the addition of Auto Layout Grid today! Having flexibility for both Rows and Columns at the same time is a game changer. That said, I immediately ran into not being able to set a column width to “Hug” within a table, which is a bummer. In the attached video, I want the “Audited By” column to Hug to the longest table cell content. I show both the current solution today, and what I am trying to do with Auto Layout Grid. I can manually adjust the width of the column, I guess, but as you can see, it makes it hard to ensure correct padding without a lot of careful tuning of the width. Anyone have any solutions? Will this be coming as a fast-follow feature? Thank you!

Figma MCP Server currently only binds to 127.0.0.1 which makes it unable to listen on any other interface. WSL creates a virtual interface, to which the MCP Server must be able to listen, or Claude Code cannot connect to the MCP Server. Long story short, you need to make the MCP Server configurable. As it is now, it’s useless for Claude Code users on Windows.

When pasting multiple images into FigJam, when the last file is selected before pasting the other files, the filename with the last alphabetical filename unexpectedly displays in the 1st position in FigJam. (See attached screenshots of the behavior.)

You can currently set multiple stroke colours to an object, but they will share the same properties (thickness, position, etc.). My idea is that you should be able to set all stroke properties on each stroke: Make sense or am I missing something?

I would love for there to be a new mode, aside from Design and FigJam for a proper Diagramming tool, similar to Draw.io but better and within a single software. Currently I use Draw.io for UI designs, and Draw.io for UML/Design Diagrams. These become very complex, so do not suggest we use FigJam which in comparison to Draw.io, is a child’s toy. Would love to see what Figma cooks up for this sort of tool, as I really like your design ethos in general. Draw.io has a number of issues which I’m sure you could resolve.

I don’t know if I used some keyboard shortcut, but now all my files doesn’t show fills or strokes. When I try to create a new form it just creates a blank form, but the fill and the stroke appears at the right menu.

Sites is awesome! Even when there are not so much default interaction animations, code layers compensate it. I would suggest to be able to set id on layers just like the html tag , so that code layers could interact with other elements.

Hey ! I’d like to know if there is any chance to have a vertical marquee effect on Figma Site in the next weeks ? Well, great to have the two horizontal options, but our sites need rythm with variety of directions !

Hello Figma Support Team, I’m experiencing severe issues with touchscreen and stylus input specifically in FigJam. For over six months, I was able to use my stylus to draw and annotate without any problems. I could also navigate the canvas smoothly using two fingers. However, recently this functionality has broken: When I select tools (e.g., the Selector) and try to pan the canvas with two fingers, the view wiggles unpredictably, making navigation nearly impossible. Drawing with my stylus now behaves erratically—strokes do not register accurately and jump around or lag. I have tested this on both the desktop app and in multiple browsers. The behavior is identical across all environments. This issue is easy to reproduce: simply use a stylus to draw and then try navigating with fingers in FigJam. I’d appreciate any guidance or updates on whether this regression is known or if a fix is planned, as this is disrupting my workflow. Thank you for your help. Best regards
