Why can't my account use the AI agent on Figma, and why is sharing restricted? When submitting a prompt to the AI agent, I get this error:"Something went wrong"srid_KP0VRNAXSG3SHX7PCCFVNxxxxxFile sharing is also restricted on the same accounts. What I've tried so far:- Created a brand new account on a Starter plan just to test — same issue occurs.- Several people on my team use our company email (same domain) and hit the same problem.- Interestingly, some accounts using the exact same company domain do NOT have this issue — they can use the AI agent and share files normally. So it doesn't seem to be purely plan-related (happens on both Starter and Professional) or purely domain-related (some accounts on the same domain work fine, others don't).Has anyone else run into this, or know what might cause accounts on the same domain to be treated differently? Any insight would help — currently stuck waiting on a support ticket for this.

Hi Figma Community Team,I am writing to check on the status of my recent OAuth app submission, which connects via the REST API to help users import files. I submitted this app for review on Wednesday, October 7th, and it has been pending since then.I understand the review queue can be quite long, but since it has been nearly two weeks, I wanted to reach out. I want to ensure that there isn't any missing documentation, broken testing credentials, or additional information required from my end to move the process forward.App Name: Kite App Type: OAuth App / REST API Integration (File Import) Submission Date: October 7, 2026 Could a team member or moderator please look into the queue or help escalate this to the review team? I would deeply appreciate any updates or feedback you can share.Thank you for your time and help!

 My goal is to create various template sizes:LinkedIn / Meta: 1080×1080 6Sense / Google: 300 x 250 / 300 x 600 / 160 x 600 / 728 x 90 / 320 x 50 / 300 x 60 Email: 848 x 244 and 848 × 244 In Figma Buzz, I want to be able to go from:1080 x 1080 > 300 x 250 > 300 x 600 848 x 244 > 848 × 244 728 x 90 > 320 x 50 > 300 x 60 In Figma Buzz, the issues I’m having:I have a triangle vector shape with 3 layers (3 different colors) and when I change the template size from 1080 > 300, that vector shape doesn’t adjust accordingly. I’ve created a flatten version of it, created a component and set the comp to scale/scale, nothing is working. What constraints am I supposed to be using for vector shapes that are group and that have been turned into a component? I made sure that the inner most layers are set to scale. I tested using a png of the same image and For the logo that is going on each of the templates, when I change the template size the logo moves slightly out of its position.

Hello! Built-in shader effects, including Duotone and Pattern Refraction, suddenly stopped rendering in Figma. They remain listed in the Effects panel, but their visual output is missing.I have already restarted Figma, cleared the app cache, tested the browser version, and tried another, more powerful computer.WebGPU is available, and the WebGPU Report shows successful device and context initialization. The effects were working normally the previous day.

Hi Figma Team,I am posting from a secondary account because I am completely locked out of my main Professional plan account. I have been trying to get this resolved for two weeks with absolutely no response from Figma Support, which is causing a severe deficiency of service for my professional work. The Situation: I recently sold my old device which contained my 2FA authenticator app, and the tokens did not migrate. I also do not remember my current password.Verification: I still have full access to the original email inbox associated with my locked Figma account, and I have all of my recent invoices and billing details ready to verify my identity.I need someone to manually remove the 2FA requirement so I can trigger a password reset to my active email. I have already emailed support multiple times over the last 14 days without a single reply.Could a Community Manager please send me a Direct Message (DM) here on the forum? I will provide the affected email address and my billing proof p

I just purchased an additional 2,000 credits, and they are already gone. There is no way I used that many credits in just few hours. What makes this even more frustrating is that I cannot see my current credit balance, review my usage history, or track my payments. I have no clear way to manage my credits or understand how many credits individual requests consume.I am spending a significant amount of time and money on this platform, and this lack of transparency is creating a very poor experience. At this point, I feel like I am being ripped off because I have no way to verify where my credits are going or whether the charges are accurate. Please provide a detailed history of my credit usage and payments, including the dates, amounts purchased, credits consumed, and the requests or actions responsible for those charges. I need this information to understand and verify how my credits were used.I would also appreciate an explanation of why my additional 2,000 credits appear to have been de

I'm using Figma Make on a paid plan, and the Copy design option has completely disappeared from my project.I'm currently in Edit mode, where I can see the Page styles and Elements panels, but I can't find the Copy design option anywhere in the interface.

Hi, I submitted a seat reduction request on 9 October (ticket #2182155), 12 days before our annual renewal on 21 October. I've since asked for it to be escalated to a manager but haven't had a response, and the renewal is now two days away. Could a Figma staff member please flag this internally? Thanks.

Hi Figma Community Review Team,I’m following up on Version 21 of our plugin, Ptengine Landing Page, submitted on September 9, 2026. It has been pending review for over five weeks. This is a version update to an existing plugin. Could you please check the review status and let us know whether any additional information or changes are needed from our side? We would also appreciate an estimated timeline for completion. The plugin page currently indicates that it is private while under review. Could you confirm whether this is expected during a version update review?Plugin: Ptengine Landing PagePublisher: Ptengine’s teamVersion: 21Submission date: September 9, 2026Thank you for your help. Manually reordering values by dragging them into position becomes tedious when a property contains a long list of names. As new values are added, keeping the list organized requires more manual adjustments. Unsorted dropdowns also make it harder to find the right value when using a component.Proposed solutionAdd a “Sort A–Z” action in the variant property editor to sort all its values in one click. This order should also be reflected in the property dropdown when selecting an instance of the component. An optional “Keep values sorted alphabetically” setting would also be helpful, so new values are automatically placed in the correct position. This would save time when maintaining component libraries and make long dropdown lists easier to navigate.

In other words a way to branch to/from a Community file Hi everyone, I publish a design system (DS) to the Community and have frequent updates to fix issues and add/update components. Community members duplicate this DS to their Organizational account to use in their own projects. They have reported to me that once they import the Figma file into their org and use it as a library they have no way of getting my latest updates easily and without breaking changes into their production design files that refer to the original “duplicated” file. So it would be great if there was a way to publish “get latest” or “subscribe to changes” in a community file. (Instead of having to restart design file from scratch in the latest version of the Design System). Librairies features are not an option as they are specific to an ORG and cannot be accessed through the community. And Swapping in this use case does not work well at all. This would be great for everyone as it would allow Figma to always ship

I work in Figma to create analytical reports containing mostly text, but also images and tables, each report is 20+ pages long and each export results in a 30+MB file size. I need to have the file under 5MB ideally, as the reports are shared with clients. The images I use are quite small size and I’ve tried some plug ins but it’s still an issue - any advice would be appreciated!

i think figma does need to enable auto layout anywhere, like anywhere especially when we are making components, soo long story short i was making like a section, that i need to make like a stack of cards that can be animated and then i just figured out that when i was in auto layout mode i only can select the auto layout animation not the cards inside it and the i just realise if im doin this i need to make a lot of it and then i just got the idean of making separate first and then auto layout it later so its a lot much easier and not taking a lot of spaces but in component mode i just realize that you cant add auto layout or even group idk why although that makes a lot easier and more simple and because i cant add it an it only can be one instance from a component set i decide to reset instance every time i wanna add the cards to the design. i think thats all from me andd pardon me if i have a bad english, dont mind to replying it or anything everything helps

Hello Figma Support Team,I am writing to report a bug with my AI credits on my Figma Education account.Three days ago, my account showed 1,900 AI credits remaining. I did use Figma and run AI prompts but it should be like 50 credit used then next day i was trying to do AI prompts it did not work. However, when I opened my account today to design, my balance dropped to 0 credits automatically.I do not have a screenshot of my past prompts as the canvas was cleared, but I have not used any tools that should have emptied my balance. Could you please look at my account's backend usage logs, investigate this glitch, and restore my missing 1,900 credits?Thank you for your help,Arslan

I was trying to create a simple plugin with the Figma Agent after having viewed your tutorial on how to create generative plugins with the Figma Agent. Unfortunately I lost total 2500+ AI credits, i.e. I had balance of 3242 AI credits before giving the prompt for creating the plugin. After 3 unsuccessful attempts by the Agent (each time the generated Plugin threw up errors which did not make sense, but still consumed a lot of AI) each generated version never gave me a proper output wherein I could use the plaugin. My AI balance reduced from 3242 to 690, which is a total of 2,552 credits being used for an output plugin which is a complete waste of time & credits. I request the support team to please look into this issue, and reverse my AI credits balance. Thanks & Regards,Andrews

Hi Figma team,On October 18 my team was charged $20 for a Professional plan by mistake. I cancelled the plan and haven’t used any paid features. I’ve already submitted a support request, ticket #2204748. Could someone please take a look and help with a refund?Thank you!

Hi Figma team,Is there any way to switch back to the previous version of “Edit with prompt”?After the recent update, I noticed that two important features from the previous experience are no longer available:I can no longer add an existing image directly from the canvas as a reference. My previous prompt is no longer retained or displayed when I reopen the editor. Both features were essential to my workflow. I now have to add reference images again and rewrite my prompt every time, making the image-editing process significantly slower and more frustrating. At minimum, the new version should support:Adding existing canvas images directly as references; Retaining and displaying the most recent prompt; Allowing users to switch between the previous and current editing experiences. If there is already a way to access these features, could you please let me know where to find them? Otherwise, please consider restoring them or providing an option to switch back to the previous experience.Honestl

Description:I've created a library file containing many components. In the same file, I've also created several website page templates to test those components. The issue arises when the component is published and linked to a new file. In the new file, the instance's default variant interaction changes and no longer references its parent component. This happens with more than one component from the library. In the video I've linked, the component I'm demonstrating is the Checkbox component, but this issue also occurs with Button and others. I checked all the problematic components in the library and found no irregularities, such as inconsistent variant naming or similar issues.I then tried unpublishing and republishing the library, and this made the instance work normally again after updating. However, oddly, when I copy and paste the component from the library file into a new file (to duplicate the component), the same issue persists.I initially thought the library might be too large.

I have 3 libraries. One is a component library, second is more complex components, and the third is page templates. I have separate design files that I import any changes from the libraries. The design files are where the prototype interactions live. The problem i have is that some of the interactions on specific components will consistently disappear every time i update the design file from any of the three libraries. Some component interactions will only sometimes disappear after an update. And some will always remain. Why is that?

Hi,We are close to the end of our sprint and the launch of our product. We prepared a Figma file on my account that has the word “Vox” in it.We’re now blocked and can’t continue until its restored - can a member of support assist if possible please? It was deleted automatically by Figma a while ago without us being aware of the issue.

I have a brutalist style design that involves lines and strokes and depends on a specific relationship between different elements with strokes. To achieve that, I have been using centered strokes since they run perfectly centered on the element’s edges, and adjacent touching/tangent elements’ strokes meet up perfectly without doubling - simple and straightforward, no extra work needed to adapt the physical dimensions of the elemens for the stroke or choose different stroke positions for different elements. But recently I noticed that the elements get overlayed on top of their parent’s stroke, and to “fix” that I have to enable “Clip content” - which in turn breaks a lot of other elements within the stroked element that depended on out of bounds design elements, like frame edge/corner decorations.Let me know whether this is unintended behavior, and whether I can expect it to be fixed. Otherwise let me know whether there’s any way for this to be remedied while maintaining stroke position
