Hi Figma Support,I've been working through the Figma MCP setup for Claude Desktop and have hit a series of issues I can't resolve through the documented steps. I'm consolidating everything here in the hope that someone can look at my account on the backend. My setup:Figma Professional plan, Full seat Figma Desktop app version 126.7.10 (latest) Claude Desktop app (latest) macOSWhat I'm trying to do:I'm using Claude as a design collaborator — specifically, I want to select sections of a page in Figma and have Claude read the layout so we can discuss what needs to change. My immediate use case is building out copy for a case study: I need Claude to understand how the page is structured so it can help me structure the copy that I have written so that it will fit the actual layout, and so I can point to specific sections as we work through revisions together.Where I am now:The local Dev Mode MCP server appears to be running in Figma — I can see it enabled in the Dev Mode panel at 127.0.0.1:3
Hi Figma Support & Community Team,We recently upgraded our team workspace (Shift's team) to a monthly Figma Professional Plan ($20.00/month for 1 Full seat under our primary billing account). While configuring team permissions and reviewing file access, an admin from our team accidentally clicked an edit access button. This immediately provisioned a second Full seat.Actions Taken Immediately: We noticed the automatic seat addition right away and downgraded the secondary account back to View access within minutes. The workspace now reflects 1 Assigned Full seat (primary billing account) and 1 unassigned/available seat. Issue: Our upcoming invoice (scheduled for September 14, 2026) currently displays a total of $40.00, which includes a $20.00 Billing adjustment (prorated charge for the momentary second seat). Because this was an accidental click that was immediately reversed, we only intend to maintain 1 Full editor seat ($20/month) for our team. Could a team member or community
Every time I move or import a component from my Design System into another Figma file, it loses all of its interactions — including click, hover, pressed states, overlays, and other prototype interactions. The component itself, variants, and properties are still there, but the interactions are completely lost or stop working as expected.Has anyone experienced this issue? Is there a specific Figma setting, Library configuration, or limitation that could cause prototype interactions to be lost when moving a component between files?I'd really appreciate any insights or suggestions on how to prevent this from happening.
I want to connect Figma Make with my hosting. Cname and A Record no problem, but domain does not recongnized the TXT info provided. I have contacted support and more than 3 days has passed and no one get back to me. I have provided all the necssary information and screenshot.
Figma Make is stuck. It either returns a connection/API error or it just returns the prompt that I have asked. It is not able to process anything concretely. Can someone help me with this? It has been a very irritating experience and I've been retrying for several hours and nothing moves. I tried to log out my account, tried to switch from desktop to web. But nothing works. I'm on Mac OS btw.
Hello! I have been trying to be a big advocate for Slots at our organization, and I have been enjoying the flexibility they bring. That said, there are some interaction aspects of Slots that are making the overall experience of using Figma worse. These seem like a Bug.The one I want to point out there is “selecting other elements becomes harder when a Slot is in place”. When trying to select layers on a totally different frame or section, if there is a Slot in a component “under” those layers on a different frame, dragging a box out selects both groups of items, which doesn’t make any sense to me.If you take that same scenario and detach the component, the problem no longer exists. This seems like an inconsistency with how Slots are architected in Figma, or something. Really frustrating! The recording below perfectly demonstrates this issue.
I noticed recently that the variable search suggestion is quite broken when I enter my queries. Below is a screenshot of me writing my query to filter down my results. But you can see the results don’t filter correctly. This as been the case for a while now.
Firstly, I misclick the teacher’s verification and Sheer ID tell me to submit the teacher’s docs, so I re-submit the verification in student role and successfully get Sheer ID verified. At that time, all locked team was switch to education. Then, after I change my email to my normally used one, everything was broken. The verification status suddenly changed into locked. I resubmit verify, and it always said "This offer has been used! ". Help me to solve this bug and recover my educational status.
So I’ve been getting charged for the Professional plan for quite some time. Issue is, I haven’t been receiving the Professional plan. Whenever I try to start another file, I get something like the attached image saying Starter is my current plan.I was messaging back and forth with someone from Support yesterday, but she’s been ghosting me for the past 22 hours.
I have a design library with styles, tokens, variables, components etc all set up and published.I’m trying to use this to create a kit in Figma Make but when I choose the design library, when I click in the components folder, it says ‘no components were extracted from this library’ and I don’t know why.
I ran out of credit after the few first prompts and again I am on the Figma dev team for Code i Operations, Please allow me maximum credits and also assign me an agent for Figma.com for Cross Synergetic Work Flow for Internal Exponential Work QualintityI need Unlimited Credit as we were working on before to trade with developmental Advancements for Figma to be the best at best pace forever Remember or Deal?
When I try to right click (ctrl + click) on a layer on my Mac, it doesn’t open the default layer menu. It usually works again on second attempt. I have the “ctrl + click opens right click menus” option enabled.Interaction I am seeing when I ctrl + click:Expected interaction:
Hi,we are running into a serious issue with slots in our design system. Our setup is this: we create and maintain our components in a shared library file, which represents our design system. These components are then used as instances in separate design/view files. Many of our components rely heavily on slots for flexible content areas. The problem: when we publish changes to the design system library and update them in the view file, the slots inside the component instances are not updated correctly. For example, variable assignments such as spacing or padding values are not applied to the existing slot content (instances inside). The only workaround we currently have is to fully reset the slots in the instances. But this removes the custom content every time, which makes the workflow unusable for real product work. This is critical for us because our entire design system is built around slots. It used to work more reliably, but in the current state it is basically unusable. This seems rel
I’ve seen another topic with a similar issue, but that was marked as solved because they found a workaround. I’m still looking for a real fix. M5 Pro Mac, on Tahoe 26.5.2.Wacom Intuos Pro, driver is current.Currently only a full computer reboot resolves it, and who knows for how long.
Since the “search inside the color field”-feature has been introduced, I am experiencing inconsistency in the search results when I search for Variables.1. searching in the color field (correct ✅):2. searching in the color library panel (incorrect ❌):3. searching in the color library panel, but omitting the first layer in the token's path (correct ✅):I think the key is that the library search seems to have a bug in the search algorithm. Only when I omit the first layer in the token's path, I get the correct result just like when I search with the search-in-color-field functionality.
I have 3,000 personal AI credits and access to a shared team pool of 7,500 credits.I would like to clearly understand when I have used up my personal credits and when my usage starts being deducted from the team pool.At the moment, this is very unclear in Figma Make. There doesn’t seem to be a clear indicator showing:how many of my 3,000 personal credits I have used, how many personal credits I have remaining, and whether a given prompt is currently using my personal credits or the team’s shared credits. This lack of transparency is causing confusion within our team, as we cannot easily tell when individual usage starts consuming the shared team allowance.Could you please clarify how I can monitor this, or consider adding a clear indicator in Figma Make showing when the personal allowance has been exhausted and usage has switched to the team pool?
Hi Figma team,I built our business website using Figma Sites and connected it to a custom domain:[removed]We are currently experiencing a Google indexing issue affecting multiple pages on the website, and I would like to know whether this could be related to Figma Sites.Google Search Console currently reports:“Crawled – currently not indexed”for approximately 15 pages, including our homepage and several important product pages. One example is:https://niio.apsm.com.tw/crmWhat I have already checkedI tested the /crm page using Google Search Console → URL Inspection → Test Live URL.The results show:The URL is available to Google. Crawling is allowed. Page fetch is successful. Indexing is allowed. Googlebot can render the page correctly. The page content and text are present in the HTML received by Google. Google-selected canonical is the inspected URL itself. There is no noindex directive blocking the page.I also checked the rendered screenshot provided by Google's Live URL Test, and the p
Hi Figma Support,I'm experiencing an issue with publishing new components to a Figma library.I've added several new icon components to our library. They appear correctly in the Publish library window with the “Added” status. However, when I select them and click Publish, Figma shows that the publishing process has started, but it never seems to complete. There is no success message and no error message. When I reopen the Publish library window, the same components are still listed as “Added”, and they are not available as published library components.I've already tried:Publishing all components at once Publishing only one component at a time Deleting the affected components and recreating them from scratch Publishing through the library updates/publishing interface Reopening and restarting FigmaSome components from the same file were published successfully earlier, but most of the newly added components are now affected.I'm using the Figma Desktop app, not Figma in a web browser.Could y
Hello, Figma Support. I'm having an issue with Figma shaders beta. I try to use the pattern reflection shader, I get the error "Shaders require WebGPU support. Click to learn more." I'm using an HP Chromebook with Chrome OS version 150.0.7871.23. Chrome reports WebGPU as hardware-accelerated, but the error persists in new files. So my hardware may not be compatible. Could you please confirm whether shaders are supported on this device or if there's a workaround?P.S. On Chrome OS, it is impossible to install custom fonts at the operating system level, which prevents us from using any external fonts in Figma that aren't already included by default. Since local OS installation isn't an option on this platform, are there any plans on your roadmap to bring a workaround, direct font manager, or native support for Chrome OS (and Linux) users in the future?

Hello everyone! For several days now, I've been completely stuck on my project, which I've been working on for almost a year! I'm getting an error every time I generate a prompt: srid_PEV5JTJ9MPXJM3VMJ83EXEAE8I've already tried everything (opening the project without preview, clearing the context and chat history (fails every time I try to clear the context), restoring a previous version), but nothing works; I still get the same error.I opened a ticket, but I haven't received a response, which I find frustrating considering the billing amounts. The delay is very/too long; we can't afford to be constantly blocked.Duplicated the project isn't a solution for me!How can I request an escalation? What can I do?Thank you so much in advance for your invaluable help!
Hello,I am a Brazilian user and I was charged today for an annual Figma subscription. Although the entire website was displayed in Portuguese, I did not realize that the subscription price was in US dollars.I did not understand that I was agreeing to an annual subscription billed in USD, and unfortunately, I cannot afford to pay this amount. I would therefore like to request the cancellation of the subscription and a full refund of today's charge.I would really appreciate your understanding and consideration, especially since the charge was made today and I am contacting you immediately after noticing the issue.Thank you very much for your help.
I gave the ai a COMPLETE design from hours of work that I did by hand, all it needed to do was put it together and make the logic. After it gave me exactly what I didn’t want, I looked at it’s reasoning which I pasted below. It basically just ignored my extremely detailed prompt and artwork...The user is very upset and saying I sacrificed all their artwork. Looking back at what happened:They provided detailed instructions to preserve the magical lunar fantasy aesthetic from the attached images They specifically said "Treat the attached images as sacred visual source material. Preserve the artwork and aesthetic almost exactly" They emphasized multiple times NOT to simplify, flatten, restyle, or replace the artwork They said "Do NOT replace the art with flat gradients, generic illustrations, stock icons, or standard SaaS design patterns" They provided 8 attached images that should have been used as the visual referenceWhat I did:I built a React app from scratch with components I did NOT
